She can apply and include you as non-accompanying but mind you spousal sponsorship is a long and sometimes complex process. Your wife would still have to show POF for all three of you. I don't know your situation but if you can apply together and you do a soft landing and go back to continue whatever you're doing and let them stay, that'd be a much better option. adeoladele: 10 Likes |

Good day all, I have some questions, if anyone can help clarify; 1. I worked at Lagos University Teaching Hospital for one year (couldn't find my employment letter), but when I tried to get a letter per CIC requirement, the process was abortive, is it ok to include Bank Statements of my salaries received during the job with a letter of explanation as substitute for letter of employment?. 2. I served in NYSC for one year, and getting a letter per CIC, was not forthcoming as well, is it ok to upload a letter of employment and NYSC certificate (Employers wouldn't give a letter, as they claimed I was more of an NYSC staff than a staff of theirs). |

I'm not sure WES will start the process until all the documents are complete. Maybe those who evaluated 2 or more certificates with WES can explain better. cc:Jenolyfavour olamse: |

Stencil: Please I've been meaning to ask. If someone does soft landing and comes back to Nigeria, how long must one stay back here before going back to Canada and won't it slow down one's year of becoming a citizen in the long run? |

bigwizzy001: To retain PR status. You have to stay a cumulative minimum of 2 years in a duration of 5 years. I hope this helps 3 Likes |

bigwizzy001: Good morning. Logically, each day you spend outside Canada after landing prolongs your citizenship by a day considering the requirements. However, this shouldn't deter you from doing what you think is the right thing for you at the present time. You should be more concerned about your PR card safely landing in Nigeria after soft landing. 1 Like |

olamse: Good morning. If you input two certs, WES will not start evaluation till all the certs are received. It's only then they'd give you possible conclusion date. This is only logical as there's no way they'd know your plans. |

Gec8: They usually charge 10k, if you go to Louis Edet house those guys at the gate will direct you. However, if you're familiar with Garki, FCID is where I did mine. The guy will request for a copy of your international passport and passport photo I think. I can't find his direct contact but ( zero eight one six eight eight three four zero five five) try this number if you want to go there. His name is Chidi and he works with the guy. Do not pay more than 10k |

adeoladele: Sure they can apply but why will you want them to apply alone? You will still do medical and POF for you must also be submitted. You can apply with them and just do soft landing, u can return to Naija once you land Canada while they stay behind. |

isinmi3: Seeing as you couldn't get reference letters from LUTH and NYSC, you'd have to write the reference letters yourself on plain paper and notarize them. Ensure you include your work hours, period worked (from/to dates), salary, job title/description and most importantly, ensure your responsibilities match the NOCs you are claiming work experience for and take care not to write them verbatim. Also write an LOE explaining why you could not get reference letters from your employers or attach a written evidence of this (if any) from your employer. In addition to the reference letters, for LUTH, any other supporting documents such as your ID card, email correspondences, pay slips, your salary account showing your salary payments etc should suffice. For NYSC, your employment letter, ID card and bank statement showing NYSC allowance deposits will do. 3 Likes 1 Share |
