They tried again with hulk, it worked abit then partly because people were tired of superman and Batman stories back to back

So they came with iron Man and you know the rest



Marvel is on top now and they have owned the market, most people grew up watching marvel flicks

The crew that grew up watching badman and superman of old, which as much as I hate DC I admit those flicks were watchable are old now, DC is trying to win new fans

See why I say that they are upcoming?

Today if DC does another origin story of superman it will flop
