Deniceone:Congratulations again. Your situation is interesting. Correct me if I'm wrong but the way I understood it; you got ITA as a single person and got AOR as married? Did your spouse do ECA or IELTS? Were your scores high enough to make up for the loss in points or are points locked in at ITA? Please expatiate, because you're about to become a reference point 4 Likes |

You have to have stayed 2 out of the 5 years to maintain your PR Status. For citizenship, 3 of out 5. bigwizzy001: 1 Like |

Safely landing in Nigeria? Technically you aren't supposed to send your PR card by mail or have someone bring it to you. If found, it can be confiscated. etrange: 1 Like |

Trust me, Jesus isn't up there trying to get Nigerians into Canada. It's a simple process. You met the requirements, followed the procedure and got the P.R. Nothing spiritual about it. bests: 4 Likes |

Stencil: Thus the reason I said the poster should be more concerned about how to get his PR card back home after soft-landing. |

Onomejohanna: Yes, you can include all these in the letter. The most important is to ensure that a considerable number of duties listed in your JD correlates with main duties listed in your selected NOC. NOC 1241 seems to be the closest to your JD as your job is an office administrative assistant/school secretary one. I have marked (in red) your duties with the NOC main duties (listed below) which I think best fit, please look through and confirm. - Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related material from machine dictation and handwritten copy - 6,7 & 10 - Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations - 7 & 9 - Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of employer - 2 - Order office supplies and maintain inventory - 5 & 8 - Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages - 2 - Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems - 4 - Determine and establish office procedures - Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to employer or appropriate person - Record and prepare minutes of meetings - 9 - Arrange travel schedules and make reservations - 2 - May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities - 10 - May supervise and train office staff in procedures and in use of current software - May organize conferences. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Mimi1999:Help me ask ooo. Let us believe this Jesus and propagate our belief in him in peace. Is it too much to ask? It is downright rude to make it a duty to put down other people's beliefs. Respect their space man, especially when this is not a discourse about religion. 22 Likes 1 Share |

iaatmguy: At least 2 years, at least 3 years. I'm confused. What are you trying to say? What country because we're comparing 2 different countries here? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Topsmamen: 12:08am On Apr 15, 2019 |
bigwizzy001: Lol. Basically, to maintain your PR status, you must be physically present in Canada for 2 years in every 5-year period. For citizenship, you will be eligible to apply after you have stayed in Canada as a Permanent Resident for at least 3 years out of 5 years. 4 Likes |

@ Asking It costs #35k and can be done online, However it's faster if you've requested before, which obviously you've not. There is also the option of going down to Nsukka to do it in person. Follow up is key either way. Hope this helps. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Good morning, What is the implication of a dependant(spouse) adding her work history in the application. This was added pre-ITA and it came up post ITA. Please note that if spouse work history is deleted, then the option on NO work history will be selected. |

princeofcanada: Why would a dependant add work experience Work experience is only needed from PA. You have to produce evidence for any work experience you put under work history. Spouse work experience should be placed under personal history, therefore no documents required. 2 Likes |
