Sincerely , I quite appreciate your response , but honestly I do not still understand your submissions. I have sent you a PM sir

Trust God bro and go ahead to submit the new docs. Use the web form to do so. It is not outside of possibility that they would request a substantive SOA if it becomes a must.

Keep all hopes alive and do all that is within your reach to do. At the first look on your app, if the investment is a complete No-No, you should have received a rejection straightaway.

On CIC website, certain nationals are requested to ONLY state their available balance. Our issue is just because of trust and no one can say yours will not scale through.

There's really no 'best way', it's just one way. Have money for your living expenses - 10kcad or 11kcad in Quebec - in your account, get all the required documents, have solid home ties (very good reasons to come back to Nigeria), write a very good statement of purpose (SOP), most importantly, pray and have faith in God.

RonKenoly:

What's the best way to go about the visa application after one has secured a fully funded scholarship.

With cash not presently on ground but with assets (land and building) that could be put on sale to rise the needed cash.

Timothyphillips:

If by fully funded scholarship you mean both tuition and cost of living, then you are good...
The other angles are :
- are you a fresh graduate?
-how any years work experience?
-do you have study gap?
- home ties?
.....these should give an idea of the situation. Cheers!
Thanks.

-Finished school 2016, done with NYSC last year April.

-Was home close to year before going for service, during that period I pick some IT related work experience. Yet to get job after service though. So no experience post NYSC.

- Not sure what you meant by study gap, but I stay at home for a year before securing admission.

- Would the transfer of the deed of another building own by Dad be sufficient?

How can I apply for a student visa or scholarship going for Master’s
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by lambsbread: 10:32am On Apr 15, 2019
Bracha:
All you need to get admission is good CGPA, undergraduate transcripts, application fee. BUT for visa, your 2 million will be very insufficient. You'll need about 10million or more, depending on the province, tuition cost of the school, and cost of living in the province.

10 million or more
Hehehe. It will take me donkey years to save up to that
Na wa o. So there is no way one can even get visa even with 5 million

Bracha:
I'll add to what Austacus has said, that cash you have there, send a statement of account NOT a reference letter. Send the statement of account when sending the new admission letter. When sending the statement of account, tell them it's an update. Make sure you properly explain that the statement of account is the same one with the letter of reference. Also, have the whole sum in your account, i.e the whole tuition + 10,000cad in your account. Your letter of reference from your bank is NOT proof of funds.

Whatever Makano tells you to do, even if it gets their attention, you may still not get that visa because of funds. So update that letter to statement of account first.

Thank you bro

I thought as much as well, they should have rejected me if it's a complete red flag.... but then .... they are unpredictable people.
Thank you sir

Wow this should be a learning point to a lot of us who have and would be having children.
Please ensure your children's names are written in the right order always. teach them too.
Check their school records especially with regards to exams that have certificates.

My dad did it for us
Timothyphillips:

@Bracha-thanks.....I go try!
Please if a candidate has different certificates with the names not been arranged properly, what should the candidate do to regularise (e.g WAEC has ABC as names, NECO has ACB as names, BSC has BAC as names, NYSC has BCA as names)?
Thanks People

Qlife- 35,000(Adults)

I did mine at Qlife family clinic. They request for your passport photograph and medical request for those that got it. After that you are called according to how you got there to pay and after that they give 3 tallies that come with different colours:
Tally A- blood test(HIV and syphilis)
Tally B- X-ray(You will enter a room and hug anxray machine to get your chest xray)
Tally C- body vitals; bp, eye sight (bring your glasses if you use one), check your height and weight.

Lastly, you will provide urine sample and see a doctor that will check your eyes, tongue and abdomen. The doctor will also ask about your medicsl history. It is advisable to get there early enough the process takes 3-5hrs. Hope this helps.

Really helpful!
Thanks!

You can apply for ur student visa by simply going to the first page of this thread, read up all the pages from page 1 to this present page coupled with ur personal research on google and the canadian website https://www.canada.ca. After which u can come back here and ask questions if u are not still clear about somethings.. Nobody will teach u ABC here, u need to work on ur self by reading relevant infos.. We do stuffs by ourselves here because we read and got relevant infos so I will advise u do same... So please nobody should come here and ask questions like this unless I will come for you big time.. Am in a good mood today, so please do as I have said.. wish u the best.. Peace

Dear @justmellow, @frankrobbn1 @Qudkom, and other anointed study permit experts, Someone referred me to this forum after I have applied. This is my predicament hereunder

I lodged an application sometimes in late July 2018 with an upfront medical (already updated as passed) and I have not been responded to since then even after several frantic and frenetic efforts of sending emails and CSE (I even ordered for my GCMS note).
I now have my new admission letter with me after the previous one has elapsed, Should I send them the new admission letter (when the embassy have not requested for it?) Any consequence(s)?

The second question is this, I am self-sponsored, and I presented ONLY Reference letter from my bank stating the amount of my investment which is about 13m cash which can be liquidated at any time. ( about 13m good enough for my programme and living expenses) I also stated that I have been saving the money towards my master ever since I conceived the idea of having my masters abroad.
Up till now, I still haven't taken out of the invested sum and it has appreciated. No SOA whatsoever in my application. So, should I also send them a recent reference letter from the bank along with my new admission letter?

KIndly advise me, please.

There are lots of July 2018 applicants who are as well an expectant of a positive news. I think you should contact Austacus for a hint that seems to be working. You made mention of a new admission letter, if it was to be my decision, I will send it before request. The consequence of such action is positive in effect.

With you submitting only a reference letter for an investment without your bank statement is a big gamble. It will be of Luck if eventually this filed application scales through successfully. In my frank opinion, liquidate that investment then submit your SOA and attach a reference letter from your bank but only on the exception of having another bank account that holds some other funds(maybe your LE of 10k/11k or more) before the investment might not be required to be liquidated. This will give more financial strength to the investment especially after paying for at least your first semester tuition fees.

You can seize the opportunity of the delay to liquidate your investment, have the funds in your SOA plus an updated reference letter from your bank, and the updated admission letter all sent at once. The body of the message should convey an explainable brief reason(s) for the additional documents/changes.

BTW as a self-sponsored applicant, its most reasonable to show liquid funds.

Get an affidavit with the relative details of each certificate followed by an acknowledgement of the reflecting names as your legal identification.

You’ve spoken well.

I don’t want this guy to risk this thing

Lemme tell you something I noticed about London VOs

They have listening ears compared to Nairobi VOs

London VOs don’t just refused visa straight up compared to Nairobi VOs

They would give you the grace to tackle it, they might even wait for you for 2 months plus, in this case, thats why it’s always good to order Gcms note if your application have used 3 months (processing time or no processing time)

London VOs don’t have problem in updating medical has passed compared to Nairobi VOs.

Application can stay more than 8 months and yet be refused (London VOs)

Upfront or Medical mail can be passed and yet be refused on a long run (London VOs)

I don’t want this guy to take that risk, that’s why am kneeling down right now for him, he should liquidate the fixed deposit or send 4-2 million to his account and do the explanation which I am ready to help him.

He shouldn’t gamble this stuff, he has waited for about 9 months now.

If he has gotten his Gcms notes, he will see everything

PS: these guys are more interested in LIQUID CASH

I don't think there should be worry for this. In as much as your birth certificate carries the exact DOB on you WEAC, NECO and also tallies with you Int'l passport.
Your birth Cert, Int'l passport will help.

Your birth Cert
Waec and Neco result
Int'l passport. These three documents will carry your DOB. Also the image on ur int'l passport with other photographs of yours are sufficient enough to clear doubts.

Very correct but satisfying a doubt/curiosity helps sleep better at night. Since there is a rising skepticism, an affidavit will put everything to rest.

In as much as a LOE is vital in making explanations about present or changing situations, the contained points should be reasonable and convincing.

To the bolded, you can come up with much better and convincing explanation(s).

I just checked my certificates, three have ABC, one has BCA and I used them like that. I suggested the affidavit because your was scattered almost completely and also because you seem to be worried about the scattering. Left to me, I'll say no need for affidavit or change of name because all the names - ABC - even in their different arrangements appear in all the documents, to me, that's all that matters.
