indeed the Golden mail has landed. This Canada waka started in 2017 when hubby wrote ielts in December shortly before I had my first son. I wrote mine in March L7R8W6S7.5. Crs 380. A friend invited us to this group and we realized that the ultimate score for good crs is 8777 and the younger the applicant, the juicer . The responsibility fell on me to become the p.a. I had to brace up to tackle listening and writing. Fast forward to June 2018, second ielts attempt L8R8S7.5W6.5. Oh!!! I wept, we proceeded for remark and after about 8weeks of anxious waiting, it came out unchanged. Before I knew it, I took in again(chai, who send me msg na ) i started attending class in order to defeat writing. After the rigorous exercise, September came and I had the worst result ever L8.5R6.5W6S8, I was broken, discouraged and tired. Thank God for a supportive spouse who kept speaking positive words in my ears. Infact he proceeded to book 2 consecutive exams. Come October 13th I smashed L8R7.5S7.5W7 . We couldn’t ask for refund because the result came out a day before the next exam. I went in for the oct27 and I waved goodbye to ielts in style L8.5R8.5W7S7.5 . With a good ielts score+below 30+masters+3yrs work experience, crs 474. We dived into the pool in Nov and here is the timeline.
Ita Nov 15.
Aor Dec 20.
Biometrics Jan 30.
March 12, I Put to bed.
March 14 I raised cse for newborn. It wasn’t up to 24hrs, I got double ADR. They requested more info of the company I referenced, my pay slips( I had 7 days to submit this)The second adr was for my baby. I submitted the first adr. Tackled the second within 2weeks( baby’s passport, medical and payment and updated Pof) I submitted these documents on 31st March and my ppr landed on 4th April. Whoops!!!! This journey was indeed an emotional roller coaster but God came through for us. Our VO is Ottawa.

Yes, you can include all these in the letter. The most important is to ensure that a considerable number of duties listed in your JD correlates with main duties listed in your selected NOC.

NOC 1241 seems to be the closest to your JD as your job is an office administrative assistant/school secretary one. I have marked (in red) your duties with the NOC main duties (listed below) which I think best fit, please look through and confirm.

- Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related material from machine dictation and handwritten copy - 6,7 & 10
- Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations - 7 & 9
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of employer - 2
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory - 5 & 8
- Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages - 2
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems - 4
- Determine and establish office procedures
- Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to employer or appropriate person
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings - 9
- Arrange travel schedules and make reservations - 2
- May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities - 10
- May supervise and train office staff in procedures and in use of current software
- May organize conferences.

Dear Topsmamen,

Please can you also help me out with my JD and the NOC that best fits it. I am thinking it could be NOC 6235 (Financial sales representatives ) but I could be wrong. Anyone Can help too.

My JD (Credit Officer) is thus;

• Process applications of individuals applying for loans and credit: Interviews applicant to obtain personal and financial data and fills out
application.
• Call or write to credit bureaus, employers, and personal references to check credit and personal references.
• Establish credit limit, considering such factors as applicant's assets, credit experience, and personal references, based on predetermined
standards.
• Notify customer by mail, telephone, or in person of acceptance or rejection of application.
• Keep records or files of credit transactions, deposits, and payments, and send letters or confer with customers having delinquent accounts
to make payment.
• Send form letters and brochures to solicit business from prospective customers.
• Adjust incorrect credit charges and grant extensions of credit on overdue accounts.
• Accept payment on accounts.
• Keep electronic record of applications for loans and credit, using computer.
• Compute interest and payments, using calculator.
• Provide customer credit information or rating on request to retail stores, credit agencies, or banks.
• Check value of customer's collateral, such as securities, held as security for loan.
• Advise customer by phone or in writing about loan or credit information.
• Assist customer in filling out loan or credit application.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls from internal and external customers
• Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, access accounts and fulfill customer needs
• Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers
• Understand customer’s account and business rules to provide accurate information to our customers
• Utilize multiple systems to complete daily tasks and follow through with customer requests or concerns
• Provide excellent customer services by responding well to questions, providing timely, accurate and helpful responses
• Preparing statements to credit department if customer fails to respond; initiating repossession proceedings or service disconnection; and
keeping records of collection and status of accounts.
• Types or prepares follow-up letters for customer accounts, notifications of change of address for collection agencies, and other documents.
• Performs various clerical tasks as required, including logging and routing incoming mail, typing, reception duties, and preparation of outgoing
mail.
• Responds to telephone inquiries and assists in solving questions related to the status of customer accounts; documents status of collection
efforts.
• Perform limited research in preparation for updating records, such as tracing customer mailing address.
• Ensure strict confidentiality of financial records.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

NOC 6235 - Financial sales representatives.

Financial sales representatives perform some or all of the following duties:

- Open new personal and non-personal accounts, and provide access to automated banking machine, telephone banking and online banking
services
- Interview applicants for personal, mortgage, student and business loans

Morning Everyone. Pls I really need 2 know if someone who had biometrics done last year for a trv visa will be expected 2 do another biometrics now on dis present pr application? Pls anyone in d same shoes? Pls I need a response.

Secondly, are there chances of a faster background check and processing having gotten a multiple Canadian trv visa last year?
Thanks 4 ur responses in advance

Yes, you need to do fresh biometrics for PR.

No, having a TRV does not guarantee that your PR application will be processed faster.
