Topsmamen: Dear Topsmamen, Please can you also help me out with my JD and the NOC that best fits it. I am thinking it could be NOC 6235 (Financial sales representatives ) but I could be wrong. Anyone Can help too. My JD (Credit Officer) is thus; CORE DUTIES: • Process applications of individuals applying for loans and credit: Interviews applicant to obtain personal and financial data and fills out application. • Call or write to credit bureaus, employers, and personal references to check credit and personal references. • Establish credit limit, considering such factors as applicant's assets, credit experience, and personal references, based on predetermined standards. • Notify customer by mail, telephone, or in person of acceptance or rejection of application. • Keep records or files of credit transactions, deposits, and payments, and send letters or confer with customers having delinquent accounts to make payment. • Send form letters and brochures to solicit business from prospective customers. • Adjust incorrect credit charges and grant extensions of credit on overdue accounts. • Accept payment on accounts. • Keep electronic record of applications for loans and credit, using computer. • Compute interest and payments, using calculator. • Provide customer credit information or rating on request to retail stores, credit agencies, or banks. • Check value of customer's collateral, such as securities, held as security for loan. • Advise customer by phone or in writing about loan or credit information. • Assist customer in filling out loan or credit application. • Handle inbound/outbound calls from internal and external customers • Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, access accounts and fulfill customer needs • Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers • Understand customer’s account and business rules to provide accurate information to our customers • Utilize multiple systems to complete daily tasks and follow through with customer requests or concerns • Provide excellent customer services by responding well to questions, providing timely, accurate and helpful responses • Preparing statements to credit department if customer fails to respond; initiating repossession proceedings or service disconnection; and keeping records of collection and status of accounts. • Types or prepares follow-up letters for customer accounts, notifications of change of address for collection agencies, and other documents. • Performs various clerical tasks as required, including logging and routing incoming mail, typing, reception duties, and preparation of outgoing mail. • Responds to telephone inquiries and assists in solving questions related to the status of customer accounts; documents status of collection efforts. • Perform limited research in preparation for updating records, such as tracing customer mailing address. • Ensure strict confidentiality of financial records. • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. NOC 6235 - Financial sales representatives. Financial sales representatives perform some or all of the following duties: - Open new personal and non-personal accounts, and provide access to automated banking machine, telephone banking and online banking services - Interview applicants for personal, mortgage, student and business loans - Promote the sale of deposit, investment, credit and loan products and services - Assist clients by proposing solutions to address financial objectives such as business expansion, debt management, investment and other financial goals - Research and evaluate loan applicant's financial status, references, credit and ability to repay the loan - Complete credit and loan documentation - Submit credit and loan applications to branch or credit manager with recommendations for approval or rejection; or approve or reject applications within authorized limits ensuring that credit standards of the institution are respected - Prepare statements on delinquent accounts and forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action - Review and update credit and loan files - Act as joint custodian for cash and securities.
