Durban is a nice city as well. It is similar to cape town in that it has beaches and nice tourist areas as well but the vibe is different from cape town.

The drive to Durban from Johannesburg is very nice and you can stop bye to admire the beautiful mountains. You will enjoy Durban. The Night life is also very nice. Na dem get music for SA. just stay away from "location" and you will be fine.
I thank you. I was thinking of killing two birds with one stone, I.e, staying for a 5 days in Durban and 5 days in Johannesburg since they are closer compared to Capetown. How about that? Does jo’burg have tourist sites as well?

That is less than a month ooooo; just 3 weeks. I submitted March 19.

Is this real hope?

Mine is exactly week 4 today.

I'm hopeful. Maybe they want to clear plenty because of Easter because they've to go on holiday.

You can definitely do that. Joburg does have a lot a tourist destinations, just google it. There's the apartheid museum, tour to Soweto, you can play around Sandton or even travel about 2 hours north of the city to mini safaris so its doable. if you rent a car then you can definitely do Durban as well just about 6 hours drive from Johannesburg or you can use the bus as well.

My wife and last daughter submitted on the 18th march in Abuja, no mail yet, this is unusually long, and the tracking system seems faulty. That day had a lot of people plus a football team.

I got a response mail yesterday for passport collection. Expect it any time soon cos we both applied the same day, Feb. 21.

My study visa was denied stating that "intake for 2019 has closed already. Apply on time for admission and visa for 2020".

Meanwhile I had earlier deferred my registration to July 2019.

I am going to write a letter of appeal and I hope consideration is given.

You won't know visa is denied till you collect your passport

The mail will only states your passport is ready for collection

No refunds for Health insurance. Only SAQA does refunds. I didn't pay any school fees, so not much loss. But I am making appeals as I had earlier deferred my application to July.
