Please don't mind the typo errors. If any thing is not clear let me know.

NOTE I had to give all these details in order to answer as many questions that people could have with respect to

Application for Admission and follow up
Medicals
Police certificate
Biometrics
Documents required.
----------------------------------

Please if you have any questions kindly ask them here, I may be able to answer you or someone else could answer. Sorry I may not be able to respond to private messages for personal reasons.

Just a few more notes

---------------------------------------

English language test is not usually required from Nigerians by most Canadian schools. Your degree or transcripts should state that English language was the language used during your studies in Nigeria. If not, your academic reference letter from your lecturer or HOD should state it clearly. That was what I did. Though I wrote IELTS about the same period when I submitted my application for MSc, it was for a different reason.
Or you get a letter from your registrar confirming that English language was the language of instruction during your study in Nigeria.

When. I was filling the cic form that asked if had taken English language test, I said yes, but did not attach my IELTS test result because I had not collected my IELTS result even though it was ready at the time I was submitting my visa application.
---------------------------

For the CIC IMM family information form, I filled the birth dates and addresses and other information of my parents and siblings but I did not attach the birth certificates, Id cards, intl passports or pictures.

---------------------------

Landed properties : I did not submit any land document, my documents were not ready and for my parents land, the only document available is just a receipt. I did think it was necessary.
----------------------------

Police cert in Abuja was 10k Naira

-----------------------------
Let me thank everyone here who has been helping to provide information and guidance. I found some the information helpful.

Good day everyone..
Please can I apply for study permit with my M.Sc admission conditional offer letter.
The school needs my bsc transcript to give me unconditional letter, and my previous University informed me that it will take at least two months for them to send my bsc transcript to my University in Canada, and am going for fall 2019.

Have anyone applied and got approved?

You cannot use conditional offer letter, that's why it's conditional, admission is unconditional if you fulfill the conditions timely. Go to your school and get them to send your transcript expressly and if it means facilitating the process so be it!

Are you insinuating that applicants with conditional offer letter can't be approved of their visas? Let me tell you why that suggestion is not right. IRCC clearly stated that applicants with conditional offer of acceptance can apply for their Visa provided that they can meet the conditions established on their acceptance letter. There are so many applicants who doesn't have strong academic background on their proposed program probably because they didn't study a course related program in their first degree, as a consequence the university issues them a conditional offer on the account that they must complete some prerequisite courses prior to their full acceptance into the main program. This has never pose to be a problem and majority of these applicants were approved because they have shown that the conditions can be met once they get into Canada.

In summary, applicants with conditional offer can apply for their visa and will not face any issues at the Visa processing office.

To support my claims, please see the attachment with this post from IRCC offical website

I appreciate each and everyone of you who have volunteered in making this platform a productive one.

This is not the condition the op is asking. He is asking if you're given a conditional offer pending when they receive your official transcript and wants to know if you can apply with that conditional offer and I maintain it's a capital NO!

Is your application new and when does your school resume?

Yes my application is new. School resumes in September and they say I can't defer admission but would have to reapply if I don't resume this academic year

I agree with you. I don't think its nice for people to indirectly imply that a candidate shouldn't be worried because their application has not reached up to 8 months. People have valid reasons to be worried even though their application is "relatively new", let's just encourage one another. This thing is not easy.

Since the transcripts takes 2 months from now, the applicant can go ahead and apply for his Visa. During the course of processing the applicants visa, IRCC will request for the unconditional offer prior to the issuance of VISA. The applicant can as well send the unconditional offer once he has received it from the University.

This is still untrue.
conditional offers may take various forms; from submitting transcripts to completing prerequisite courses. Either way, It's clearly stated on IRCC that conditional letters can fly provided the applicant can meet the requirement. Besides, lots of people have applied with conditional offered without issues so the PA should not waste valuable time trying to sort out transcript and whatnot. No issues here.

This is just super annoying and irritating
How would some Nigerians believe such sham and apocryphal news from bloggers just to gain traffic and popularity

About Same bullshit from Bloggers was trending about Ghana last week

Anyways, The High Commission of Canada to Nigeria has refuted the claims.

This is the era of social media bullshit people are doing anything just to get views and likes
Don't believe all you see in social media especially vital news like this, instead when you see such news do your deep research.

While some people have had to wait longer for their medical request, some haven't had to.
If you don't have any answer, would be nicer to move along.
Using your application as an example, you got your medical request in about a month; would you have said this if it was you?
It's totally okay for people to worry (if they haven't gotten feedback) without them feeling like it's some competition with statements like this and others!
You lot need to understand that many times, people come here to talk about their application to seek support, not to hear they are baby applicants, after all some applications don't spend up to 6 weeks and they are approved!

PS: This not a personal attack, just quoting this as an example. Welldone for all the good work.

How is this not a personal attack. "If you don't have any answer, would be nicer to move along".

Sometimes people just find it hard to hear the truth. Can you send a webform complaining that you haven't gotten a reply in just about 30days?
You always see the estimated processing time popping up on the cic website. If you get a response under 30days then that's your luck and if you dont you keep praying and hoping you get a response.

I submitted an application January 3rd I didn't get any response after my medical in February. But since it hasn't elapsed the processing time I kept hoping. There's just so much arrogance about your statement. But then nothing you do can fully please people. You tell them the truth and the make reference to something.

All I said was for the applicant to be patient(less than 30days application) and you come about saying this. To every individual offering something to this forum what you said is insulting and a slap to their face

No need to ruffle your feathers.
While you have valid points, what I'm saying in essence is find a polite way to pass your message across! It's not the first time and you're not the only individual that gives such responses.

While you're helping people out, which I'm sure is appreciated, we should remember to keep in touch with our human side; be more human. A little politeness never hurt anyone.

Like I earlier stated and I still maintain, it is not a personal attack and isn't for you alone.
Have a good night!

This is not correct. I applied with a conditional offer letter and still got approved. The conditions i had to meet were just submission of original certificate and transcripts which is same for that in question.

Yes I got approved with conditional offer. You need to address it in your SOP that you have applied to your university to send them your transcript.

The moniker made it seem like I am passing a misleading information to the OP. The advices I render on this window are strictly from the wisdom of my experiences which I have enjoyed for over the years as an active member of this reputable platform which I believe many can attest to this. I don't do a guess work here . Every point I make are always backed up with adequate proof and relevant experiences from different applicants encounter which can be seen from these two successful applicants (Questionner and Ify85). I have seen several cases where applicants were approved of their visas with a conditional offer which indicated that their full acceptance into the program is pending until the receipt of their official transcripts.

As I always say on this thread, mine is to advice you. Above all, it's your decision to make on whether to follow the advices or not.

Nice job you're doing here @DMerciful. If not for anything, I respect your time and effort towards assisting others in securing their TRV.

It shall end in praises for everyone here.

Brother,
That application is more than 30 days.
This whole back and forth is not even my issue.
The irritating part of all this to me is the way we are treated in Nigeria. The fact that we have one of the longest processing time of all countries.
There is no dignity in the way we are being treated by the cic. The fact that people's passports can be held down for 8 months is appalling( I heard someone mention that his application took 8 months).
And no one should say we have a huge applicant turnout. Indians migrate much more to Canada than we are doing at the moment yet their processing time is nothing to be compared with ours. It's just something that has to do with applying from Nigeria. This is not even a permanent immigration application. For God's sake is just a study permit!
This is something we should be worried about as a country - the tarnished global image we have. But no- our leaders are busy taking unreasonable foreign trips up and down while our youths are neck deep in internet scams.
I have applied for a schengen visa before and it took just 3 weeks.
It should not be like this. It's very saddening . It's not something to even talk about.....

I understand the appalling situation and I believe people like you and others on this forum will one day contribute to repair our tarnished image/reputation. I spoke extensively with a student from india and he mentioned what he submitted. Letter of acceptance, GIC certificate and study loan approval from the government and he got the canada study visa in 3weeks. There was no property document, letter of sponsor etc and he got it. Now look at what the average Nigerian submit to get a trv. It is ridiculous some get so tensed they submit fake documents just to make a case.

When I did my medical a man in his late 60's said during his days people would rather stay in Nigeria than travel abroad and even when they do so they come back immediately after their studies.

I believe we have potential in this country and we are going to get there soon! We youth just have to make sure we set a good example and foundation for the coming generation.

Imagine wanting to do a PhD in your country so that you can be close to your own people but not one single scholarship/ funding to sponsor your study.
When a person pays his way through from baby class to Master's level and you still expect me to pay huge fees to do a Ph.D. (the job is not even guaranteed after studying o)when I can get it free and be paid elsewhere.
There is a massive brain drain going on. Massive! The intellectual youths are leaving en-masse except for a few.
So many issues....Lemme just stop here and go and sleep cos if someone thinks about this country ehn.....
