Happy Easter everyone!
Wishing us all happiness, prosperity, continued success and green portfolio.
We should always remember the theme of Easter, which is this: Christ died for our sins, rose up for our justification and gave us hope of eternal life. May His death not be in vain over each and everyone of us in Jesus name. Amen

Thanks a lot Mcy. God bless u

What really matters in equity investing is

understands a fundamental truth: companies exist to deliver value to customers and the best companies deliver more value than they capture. Sterling ’s share price has grown rapidly as a bi-product of the external value the company has created money for investors, delivering 60+ profit for those that bought it in April 2018.
Remember, Good companies don't always make good stocks.
The return to investors is the koko.
Not the mathematical analysis that ends up reducing your net worth.
To me, Sterling represents value investment in the Nigeria bourse.
Your partner In divergent view @mcy also concluded that i was promoting my business by sharing relevant, research oriented views on this platform. Far from the truth, I never had any business. I am a public servant, I do not have an online nor a physical business.
The only business I have outside my Civil service wages is equity investment both @ home and the S&P500 (NYSE)
No room to promote any equity.
I can only express views and disclosure.
HAPPY EASTER TO YOU ALL, THE BELOVED

The subsidy debate is like being between deep blue sea and a rock...As the writer have pointed out, can we trust government to utilise savings from subsidy removal to better the lots of the people? This remain a big question to solve considering the overt and covert corruption in this government.

Is the subsidy our problem? Our government are not faithful to us, if the subsidy is removed they will share the money if it is not rwmobed it is another way to milk the country under the canopy of subsidy

me think that, if the govt goes ahead with the 30year bond it is planning witb an interest rate of 15% and above, stock prices will just crash even further, If this govt inch that 30year bond near 16.5%, i will personally liquudate my holdings in the nse, borrow more money from friends and family and purchase that bond

Surprised at the swap that earned them big in Q1. Eurobonds - Diamond $200M and Access $400M to be repaid in the next 2/3months. This stock is really on my radar.

What about the proceeds of the sale of Diamond bank's UK subsidiary. No mention has been made of it. Sanjeev Gupta's GFG Alliance was in line to buy it and might even have completed the deal.

Think your response is fair enough and laced with some level of maturity.
I'm one of those that believed in taking risks once return on investment is sighted in any stock, especially distressed ones, afterall the bolded is the koko like you rightly said................but what doesnt go well here is for someone to come and be posting it as "very healthy" as if all is well with the coy. The basis of its 'healthiness' should at least be justified fundamentally, technically, sentimentally or even spiritually.
If people are aware that its just delivering value based on good news or some positive events surrounding the stock at that particular point in time, it will assist them in making decisions based on that. We all are not gurus like you the ogas. It will also save anyone future blame should something go wrong.
Just know that your posts is one of the ones I paid much attention to here cos you're much knowledgeable in the industry and also give non-bias views mostly.
Concerning you having a biz, common, I wasnt expecting much seriousness there, afterall I'm aware you don't own Sterling bank neither are you a board member. We should understand that not all will subscribe to a particular view, constructive criticism is expected and response must thus be emotion/blame free.
People should learn to take some things lightly cos this life is too short to be too serious about it.

Good afternoon everybody.
Please, there was a link from the registrars and NSE on checking which of the companies we had shares by typing our names such that it brought out the share certificate number. Does anyone here have the link as I need it urgently.

Thanks

Mcy.. have mercy please. This is resurrection Monday.

Try leave nsempa alone for just 12hours and take 10k to enjoy yourself with your Oga at the top. Show the government what u can do for your nation. Chop chicken, drink wine and plan for some other room action within the 12 hours. So u can come out energised and ready for the week. No BB pls.
