Austacus: Pls, with a sponsor just having 2 kids, what is reasonable as amount in his SOA? Also, if he is fully sponsoring one with a wife and a child, is there a need to show personal SOA or just the sponsor's SOA? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Qudkom(m): 9:37am On Apr 22, 2019 |
Deelaw13: With that CGPA. I will advice you apply for Advanced diploma program or Graduate certificate program. Most Colleges and Universities offering diploma programs will easily give you admission with that CGPA. 1 Like |

vsylva: Hello Vsylva, The facts has already been said in an interesting thread between you, Qudkom and Austacus which i decided to digest before my little contribution. There would be no cause for a repetition of the already stated hints which I considered to be on point. My little chip is directed to your "family composition of three young children and yourself" who will be actively dependent on your business funds for a long time because only your international studies will swallow the whole 6m in your savings account likewise demanding more. I know you mentioned your wife being financially buoyant, is she buoyant to have a closing balance of 5m above, if yes, very good. My take will be: 1. Get an authenticated letter if possible payment receipts from your children's school that proves that at least 3 terms(1yr) fees has been paid on your temporary absence. This is a supporting hint to what @Austacus has earlier advised, this will be a physical evidence. 2. If your wife's closing balance is not up to 5m above(for a good financial convincing) in addition to your 6m - 10m upgrade, get a cosponsor for your living expenses for 1yr and the pledge of support for your subsequent year's tuition fees. But if your wife's closing account is sufficient enough, then you can get a letter of support from a person whose relationship can be proven, maybe for your flight expense and a monthly support of like $100 - $150 a month, as a self - sponsored. 3. Include the most relevant financial/employment/business documents of both yourself and wife which should be properly connected via your SOP/LOE. You should endeavour to properly prove your financial status/strength due to your family composition which would be a make or break for your application. I apologize if your concerns wasn't addressed as expected, i have to hastily write this due to a divided attention. Good luck! |

U didnt answer ma 1st question tho... and also a GCMS note has so many pages, I guess over 50 pages or so..The note of the VO is always at the last 5 pages... So go the last 5 pages, especially the last 2 pages and screenshot what the VO is saying about ur application.... There must be something there... Peace Caddy123: |

@Caddy123, sorry for the delay, I am sure @mekano, @qudkom and co will come with good ideas. However , going through your profile you said you applied for PhD SPBut your GCMS note states that your program is just for 2years. Just so they get the full and clear profile, so you could be advised appropriately. Caddy123: |

What is in progress, please be specific with ur answers so we can be clear on whats actually going on with ur Application and give proper suggestions. Has ur Eligibility started or its still on Background check.. And to ur GCMS note, are you telling me there is no place in ur note where the VO commented on ur present application? Or is it that no VO has started working on ur application? Cos if they have started, you should see the note of the VO presently working on ur application.. Ur GCMS is kinda strange tho... The text I can see here is the mail u sent them concerning ur application.. Please look through the whole 41 pages, u should see the text of the VO... Peace Caddy123: 1 Like |

Hello nairalanders , I must say this thread is highly informative as I followed every page as it has helped me in getting my admission in M.A leadership (business stream) Trinity western University B.C Canada. I am at the point of applying for my study visa but have these concerns. Please note that I was previously denied a Canadian study visa in 2016 due to the ffg: 1.I failed to indicate that I was denied a US visa previously. 2.The V.O stated that I didn't show sufficient ties to Nigeria. 3.The course of study was a certificate course in conestoga colledge. I studied Dramatic arts graduating with a 2:1 Since 2003 served from 2004 to Feb 2005 and started work in a bank in August 2005 . Stopped work in oct 2017 as an Operations manager then got a another job in a consulting firm in Jan 2019 where I work currently as a business analyst. My question is how do I write a compelling SOP to facilitate my study visa application bearing in mind the gaps in education and time off work.Kindly note that my husband is my sponsor and I am not travelling with him or our kids. I am anticipating helpful feed backs from our able experts. Thank you in advance. |

Dynatron:Before anything please tell me you didn't have MISREPRESENTATION has part of the reasons for your denial. Because the VO obviously thought you lied about your previous visa denial . |

Dynatron: Have you requested for your gcms notes to know if you got penalized for misrepresentation? Did your refusal letter notified you got the 5yrs ban for misrepresentation of "fact?" You can't proceed to writing your SOP/LOE without knowing this with all certainty. 1 Like |
