Qudkom:1. My co sponsor dependant are just 2 kids that are stil in primary school and i tink i wil tell him to transfer me the money in my account 2. I have been applying for admission wich i have proofs of that but was not given and my primary course were all psychology before i ventured into the NGO 3. My dad dosent have only retirement benefit and whereas he is not retiring now its just a way of strengthening the financial aspect, and he collects rent from landed properties and earns well, and he VO should better believe because thats my father lol, and he is my main sponsor. 4. Dependants are just me and my kid bro who already is schooling on a schorlarship and there is proof to back that up, which now makes me the only dependant to worry about in educational aspect. 5.the NGO is related to the course of study, its walk and voice against street violence and military brutality and also sensitization of the youth, i plan on joining the force immediately after study, he investigation department on a short service and i have trainings and track records of achievement thus far and its a registered NGO which am a co-founder So with that said, whats your take on it. |

Nellykuch: Is he coming in May? Fanshawe will give him 2 days accommodation in a hotel. Someone already shared Kijiji link with you, he can have a look and make appointments close to departure date and physically inspect them on arrival. If he arrives London and does not get a house within 2 days of staying in the Fanshawe free accommodation and still needs extra time, I can accommodate him for free for extra 3 days till he gets his own apartment (This is if he is coming alone). 1 Like 1 Share |

So I have started gathering my documents and although my hubby is my sponsor, part of what I need for myself is reference letter from employer, at least 4 months bank statement . I wanted to apply this month end and wonder if I can make it for the July resumption considering the processing time as next January is really far!! I have the fff docs: Consent letter from hubby Letter of sponsorship His reference letter Employment letter and ID Pay slips and statement Pension reference letter Marriage certificate New paper report Police certificate My work Work reference letter (new job I atar5ed 2019 Jan) Account stqtement(3 months) Work reference letter Passport photo Wedding pictures Family pix for us all SOP letter of admission showing tuition of 24k CAD and 10K CAD tuition deposit SO balance of 14k. Sammybabelious:Morning, I thought I read bsc. I don't think you cN apply for an msc with that. But with the experience and certification you have all things being equal you shouldn't have issues convincing a VO about going for a bsc program in nursing. |

samplay9: Well if you so believe you have it figured out and your plan will work out. Then please go ahead I know this 3rd party sponsorship can be tricky but not impossible and there isn't one way or a best approach to getting a trv approved. All the best. Just make sure you provide supporting documents to back your claims. 1 Like 1 Share |

Dynatron:Firstly, in reply to your first paragraph. I know you have some documents together but please don't feel you need to rush an application. You need to sit down and consider all your options before submitting. But regardless I want you to put the following in perspective: 1. Your program starts July which means orientation probably kickstarts in June. Does the current visa processing time (cic) give you enough time to process your visa application? 2. I am sorry to say but this is my opinion. If your current job in which you haven't been there for 6months give you a supposed study leave your status and salary has to be convincing enough to a VO to compell you to come back home to it. 3. Does the the current job show progression in your career in relationships to your undergraduate degree and potential study program?. Other than this I believe your hometies and financial portfolio is decent. So please plan accordingly. |

Good morning all, I got a mail on the 10th of April that my processed passport has been dispatched to Canada Visa Application Centre, so I went to receive it today so as to know the reason I was refused but when I opened the envelope saw this slip and I didn't receive any mail from them. It is quite confusing, has this ever happen to anyone?

Abidx22: Hello Abidx22, Most or if not all Canadian university offering a Masters/PhD in Political Studies/Science has their admission window for only Fall intake I think except few DLI that offers a Graduate Diploma/Certificate in Political Studies/Science have their admission for Spring which most offers concurrently with an already enrolled/running program of Msc/PhD. As for funding, there are always quite substantial opportunities set out for PhD students/applicants for funding except on rare circumstances. In aiming for a funding; 1. Contact/Secure a potential supervisor in research areas/interest best related to yours in the prospect DLI 2. Having publications/published articles. 3. A well outlined letter of intent intuitively detailing/explaining your research focus/aim, academic background, future reasonableness/career/prospects connected with your intended course/studies, detailing down of previous research/publications, outside classroom routines/voluntary activities related to your career path/choice studies etc. 4. A well detailed reference/recommendation letter from your previous professors/head of research team/lecturers etc detailing your research strength and focus/contributions to any published work/research/tutorials or assistant lecturing roles whether voluntary or paid etc. 5. Certificates/Awards from any voluntary services/academic reasonableness related to your career field or prospect course. 6. Apply to 2 or more DLI. The schools should comprise of both less popular schools and popular schools but make sure they can qualify you to be eligible for a PGWP. The numbers of schools applied to, the chances of getting an admission offer likewise funding. 7. An outstanding academic profile. 8. Befriend the graduate secretary(not always guaranteed but works magic if you can). This is all I can recall for now. Good luck! 1 Like |

Asapant: I think you should make a colour photocopy of them, if feasible, scan and merge the photos together if more than one then print out in coloured otherwise the VFS representatives at the counter might leave you with no choice than to exclude the original copies esp in Lagos VFS |

It already made a coloured copy of the original, and the copy I made looks exactly like the original. Hope am good with that ? JustMellow: |

Hello all, Please, I've been trying to submit my application to cic for days now with no success, the response I keep getting is that I cannot submit an application form that has been scanned and must provide a digital signature. I've tried filled the form through electronic means but the content can't be saved electronically, and that's why I printed it out, filled manually and scanned. Is there anyone who has faced similar challenge and how was it overcomed? I'm considering the paper route since I'm unable to successfully submit an online application but I want to seek help from the house to see if there is a way to overcome the challenge before applying through paper route. Thanks |

Good morning people. I just got admitted to university of Regina and wow I don’t know where to start from. I currently work in a merchant bank. My questions are 1. Can I have a bulk sum of 2 million transferred to my account? 2. Can I use a sponsor that is not a family member? Thank you |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by JustMellow: 11:06am On Apr 24, 2019 |
samplay9: This documents showed are even surplus to get you an approval but Nigerian applicants and Canadian VOs are like 5. To the bolded, is your sponsor and cosponsor also sponsirig your kid bro? Also, get your cosponsor to draft a "Letter of Cosponsorship" as with details like: a. Why such cosponsorship - To what suppose b. Detail event(s) of previous support either self development/career initiatives c. Roles your pastor has acted/played as either a spiritual leader/guardian/mentor/godfather or godmother d. The composition of his family c. How much is in volunteering to support your international/foreign studies with Also a chip in to modify your financial status in the eyes of the VO given to the fact of using two sponsors, which the(some rigid) VO might want to know/curious that if you were financially buoyant to undergo a foreign study, then why a cosponsor. So try to block any doubt that might lead to unnecessary curiosity/scrutinizing by: 1. Get your cosponsor to transfer/deposit your 1yr of your LE of $10k or the pledged 4m into your personal account - Then include your personal SOA to your documents. 2. Get your sponsor to pay for your 1st semester/year tuition fees(please stay woke about their refund policies) - Then include the receipt of payment 3. For your NGO, include every relevant document that shows: a. Registration b. Gratification/Felicitation/Appreciation letters c. Pamphlets d. Website/Links(if available) e. pictures(if available) f. etc Good luck! |

Cutieflaky: Things like this has happened in the erstwhile. Was your passport included in the envelop that conveyed the letter you got? Have you tried checking your spam/junk folder of your mail box? If yes and nothing, then heed to the instruction on the gotten letter and send a mail regarding your situation. BTW on "certain occasion" when something like this happens especially for paper route, the refusal letter can be printed from your gckey online account. Despite the odd of the decision outcome, you can still link it to be certainly sure if the letter is there or not. 1 Like |
