Cherryola:Never say never. However: 1.chances of a VO thinking you are trying to use the study route to immigrate to canada is high. 2. If you don't have adequate finance then the vo will find it hard to understand why you can't just enrol for a bsc program in Nigeria. 3. You need to provide proper timeline of your study gaps. 4. Program must correlate with work experience ans OND. Just to motivate you, in 2016 a teacher in his 50's got a visa to study an educational program at a college and was sponsored by the cooperative society he belonged. He didn't even use a SOA generated from the bank, he used the one generated on the online app. |

makano: Reason I want to cancel is that my school refuse to offer me an admission for 2019 fall. I currently do not have any new admission letter as the one of 2018 has elapsed. I paid part of my tuition fee and for me to get a refund my school demands a refusal evidence from CIC. I want to apply for a UK university and I need the tuition fee to pay for my UK school |

You could try sending a message to Kenya, and see if they reply you. If they don't, send the message to London, London will then forward it to the office handling your application. When they forward it, they either copy you in the mail, or the office replies you. Good luck. sillysassysally: 1 Like |

Ok.. What kinda school wont give u admission even after paying school fees? But its possible CIC gives u an approval without requesting for a new LOA though. And if it happens u get ur visa without CIC requesting for ur new LOA, when u get to Canada, u can easily go to the school and rectify this issue.. On the other hand if u still insist u wanna withdraw ur application.. You can send an email to the office responsible for ur application with the subject "Permission to Withdraw/cancel my 10 months old application" and carefully explain all what u have written here. Ur withdrawal mail may force them to approve ur application (thats if u have passed the Eligibility stage tho)u can never tell... Also send a mail to a MP in the province where ur school is located, and lastly, I will advice u order ur GCMS note to see if your Eligibility review has been passed, if it has not been passed, then u can withdraw ur application. If I may ask, Whats the name of the school? powerblessing: |

powerblessing: Your visa can still be approved without the New LOA. Please I beg you, don't withdraw your application. I read reasons why you want to withdraw. If it is the same UK I once lived and studied, I know for sure that you can get visa approval within 15 days (if you have the money, you will get visa within 5 days or same day) and you can get admission to most schools in UK within 5 days. Infact, their admission and visa process is not stressful because they want your money. If I were you, I will wait (even if it means me waiting till January next year to study in UK, God forbid, if the Canada visa does not come through) to see what happens with this Canada application. You have waited for 10 months, please see it through. I am positive you will get it. Is it the same UK that students are looking for ways to run from? Personally, I will not advise anyone to study in UK, if the plan is to stay back after studies. Staying for 1 year to study in Canada is worth it, yes Canadian visa is worth the wait. However, if your plan is to study and come back to Naija , then withdraw your application and go to UK. Masters is even 1 year or 16 months in UK. P.S UK visa is the probably the easiest student visa in the world, you are 90% guaranteed getting it. You can go there anytime. The decision is yours. God bless. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Hello all. A friend of mine is applying for study visa. He has the tuition fee + 10k to cover living expenses for a year in his account. Does he still need to get a sponsor? If he does, is it compulsory that the sponsor transfer some money to him or will it suffice for the sponsor (his brother probably) to just sign a sponsorship letter? I’ll appreciate anyone’s take on this. Thank you in advance ☺️ |

ahmedio2017:So many factors contribute to this: 1.Are you a mature applicant? 2. Did you claim to be self employed with a registered business? 3. Sponsor transferring living expenses? 4. Claim to have properties and other investments, etc... Then you need to show some ID (statement of account) |

Asapant: There is absolutely no demerit. If you select NO, the same shared surname would sell you out if a background check regarding to that question is run. It would be advisable to select YES, and input his required information. You can notify him about such development before taking such action. BTW The question in quote reference more to a member of a nuclear family than to an extended family. |
