When completed, it will be third university own by Catholics, Tansia university Umunya, Peter's university being built by Awka diocese in Achina, with this proposed one will make it three for Catholics, when you add Madonna uni it be four universities plus Paul's university Awka it will be five universities own by missions

It’s about time the Catholic Church brings a truly world-class university to the south-east! They’ve been in Onitsha for more than a hundred years, and are arguably the richest church in the world, so nothing but the best is expected of them!

How about Penticost University Ozubulu by the Anglican church?... The Redeemed University Nkpor/Ogidi will also be added in no distant future. Nnewi Catholic diocese is also in the final stages of their own University in Nnewi area!
