I used my MasterCard ATM and it worked just fine. It should work for you too.

You guys must forgive this village girl who keeps asking questions at every point. Am about paying WES for ECA to get my reference number. I want to initiate my transcripts at my institutions this morning and I see options that am unsure of

Credit Card: I don't have a Credit Card. I do have a Master Card Debit Card (ATM) will this work

Western Union Online Transfer: I don't know how this works although I do know there's Western Union in Nigerian Banks. I see stickers and ads at bank.

So which is the right one to choose? I'll prefer Master Card ATM Card or Mobile Bank Transfer from my phone whichever that works. Pleas answer if you know. Thank you.

Good morning guys.

A quick question pls..
My cuz has OND, HND, and BSc. She started working as an Administrative Assistant after her OND, while she ran her HND as part time. She worked for two years plus before she resign to start her BSc full time. She's currently in service (NYSC).

1) Can she use the 2years experience post OND + 1 year NYSC to claim point for 3 years or more?

2) If she can, how can she prove the work experience? The company she worked for has no online presence, and she was paid by cash, so no evidence of payment but she can get reference letter from them.

Thanks.

It's not unnecessary anxiety. Do not disagree when you've got no proof! My application was actually rejected because ECA certificate.
johnnybravo1990:

I beg to disagree. I don’t think that could be the reason for the person’s rejection. Clarify if the person imputed their ECA number correctly. There is a column somewhere in the application where we are to put down our ECA report number. Or are you saying the ECA number we wrote does not count? Please don’t give people unnecessary anxiety. I uploaded only degree certificate, and I am not going to panic, because the instruction for uploading document for education clearly said ‘degrees/diplomas’, and not ’degrees/diplomas + ECA certificate’. The ECA number we put should take care of the ECA. However you can also upload ECA certificate if you wish.

Please, anyone who has done OND and HND evaluation with ICES should please confirm if the HND/OND is equivalent to 3 years program. Please!
chrisebsy:

don't fret yourself lad , I am not sure ices will evaluate OND,HND as 2ormore with one as 3yrs. However , before you use them ,ensure you are absolutely certain that they will. as for WES, they are your friend's best bet. if the reason for not using WES is as a result of age discrepancy between WAEC and other qualifications. you might want to ask out here, if are solutions for that.

GTB naira MasterCard. Ensure the address on your account statement matches with the one you are inputing.

Use the regular standard post.

Use a system, just input your card details, it will tell you once it is successful. Then wait for few hours to be debited.

Sorry I am responding late.

Average typing speed is fine. The listening was fine. In my mind it felt clearer and gave more time for answers. Some of the answers are just clicks away, others are dragging and typing. So you should be fine.

Mauriss:
Please, how is the CBT version of the listening test? Do I need to know how to type very fast? I type at average speed. Please, its urgent. Thanks!

Hello house, a big congratulations to all the PPR clinchers.
My question is on evaluating "two or more certificates" with WES.
Both institutions are different one in Nigeria and one outside Nigeria, we have the transcript of the one outside Nigeria but the school is Nigeria insists on sending themselves. How is it done should the school go ahead and send while we send copies of transcript/certificate onour own, then for Waec accreditation, when are we to process and send that. It's a bit confusing knowing you have to send different documents from various angles to WES.

With 2 kids and a history of living together, your friend should qualify for common-law which for immigration purposes is the same as marriage. Not that they shouldn't go ahead and marry.

The option you seem to be looking at is "spouse unaccompanying". They need to look long and hard at it because spousal sponsorship after is a long journey.

Have they checked the crs tool well? The spouse doesn't have to max IELTS to contribute good points.

The reason why she doesn't want to use WES is because she took neco in her SS1 in the year 2000, that was the first time neco came out and she did well and that's the result she is using, how can she now explain to WES that she took the neco exam in her SS1, I mean how can she write 4 years instead of 6 years. How can she explain this please everyone suggest. Thanks
My wife had no degree certificate ready, only statement of results and transcript was sent to WES, they put a column for WAEC/NECO, I called them and they said they don't need that.

Nobody has used one semester evaluation from WES to claim two or more certificates. You attempt this, your application gets rejected as your CRS scores will be re-calculated. If WES does not evaluate whatever certificate as a one year college certificate, begin to look elsewhere.
Agreed.

It's too risky, even for a risk taker like me. Apart from the ECA costs wasted, the time which could have been used to d eligible options...nahhh cheesy

Yes, you send different documents from different angles to WES. cool

Your school sends your transcript to them. Must be sent by the school as the ones sent by hand is often rejected.

You go to WAEC who sends transcript to them. Must be sent by WAEC.

You fax your Statement/degree to them or ask your school to include it in the transcript.
I faxed and school also inlcided in my transcript.

You can PM me if you need help with your WAEC/NECO.
For your school, you can drop the name and see if anyone would help you with a contact and what it would cost.

The journey is a tough one, you must be brave. wink
