My dear brother, ever since I got rid of my old manager and started managing the cars myself it has been good o .. I even have a female driver ,that nobody wanted to take a chance with..
Now do I challenges at times? Of coz just like any other business, but overall am doing much better than before bro. The point here is good drivers and good cars and good owners.. If you can mash those things up and a little bit of hard work.. The sky is the limit..
And keep in mind when everybody was jumping ships, complaining ,uber this and that joining the fence, uber is not designed for rental etc.. Am still here bro still doing it .. Correct me if am wrong .uber has been in nigeria for 4 years now? But me have been in the business for about three years now .. On business at times, you need to change your strategy and adapt to the business currant environment.. So many changes with uber up and down.. I change too ,I took better car of my cars, look for good mechanic and drivers.. I had to start from the bottom all over again.. When I say from the bottom, I sold all my uber cars that were under bad manager.. Bad oil completely destroy all my fleet.. I basically started with tokunbo cars all over. Lost millions of naira etc.. But look at me am still here .. Like 2chain said, " if you start from the bottom, you can see the top " it is not easy ,coz if it was easy everybody will be doing it . This is not a race for me ,but a Marathon.. TMC ... The Marathon Continues .........

Best of all boss... My point have always been, things cant b rosy always, they will always be high & low period. But some one coming to paint a straight 5 months without a day break, is a no no for me

You catch them when they are young.. He is young man ,better for him to hustle now ,than when he is old.. The sun don't shine forever bro.. If he works hard now and set himself up very well.. By the time he starts a family, things will be easy for him .. Again if he continues like this by the time he marries ,he would have either had his own fleet of cars or other business.. But the point is you have to start early and young.. Ask Dangota ,Bill Gates, Odetola and co ... the earlier you start, the more time you will have to correct mistake.. Business is a learning tool ,you make mistakes and not easy to correct

Business is a learning curve .. He will learn as he grows and make adjustments to fit his goals.. U can recall when people were jumping fence ,you can recall when I screaming up and down elantra this and that .. You can recall that I was not a fan of corolla for uber.. You can recall when I was advocating for good oil and proper maintenance.. You can recall when people were saying the my Mobil 1 engine oil will not sell fast enough like others that were selling before me So look at me now, am still doing uber and my engine oil at times I can't keep with demand.. My point is I made adjustment when needed, uber change their directions with year model of their cars from strictly 07 upwards to 03 starting upward . I change my business models to fit the currant uber model so that I can profit .. My point is as things get harder in personal life or business life ,you will learn to adjust

If we are not careful, the so called earnings we see on the screen will affect our judgement.

E hailing people, are we really making profit considering the current fares and increasing cost of doing business?

If someone like gazzuzz, who is a mechanic and only spend half of what most of us spend on car maintenance, could join the fence then people need to tell themselves some hard truth.

So what are you saying? I should quit driving? And look for another job?

I have posted where I earn 69k, 80k plus. With the zero percent commission, I have opportunity to earn more.

With my current savings plan, I will own a tokunbo car in one year 6 months.

I have no one to feed, just myself, for me the future is bright.
My little advice for you. As you're working hard, also find time to unwind. Your enthusiasm is good but don't just work and work otherwise you will burn out. I've spent long enough on the job to see hardworking drivers sleep on top speed, some made it some didn't, that won't be your portion so rest is paramount. All the best

Bro I don't know what your long term plan is with this ehailing but like you said you've lost millions already(like most patners). Does it not make more sense and less stressful to just sell off those cars for a profit once they land. Considering how much you buy them.

Website: www.mymoto.com.ng
Tracker page: https://mymoto.com.ng/product/vehicle-car-pickup-commercial-trucks-gps-tracker-h02-tracker-nigerian-configured/
Office Location: 3-9 Olu Koleosho Street, Off Medical Road, Ikeja, Lagos

WHY DOES YOUR CAR NEED MYMOTO TRACKER

(1) Security: While anti-theft systems like push-buttons before car start, gear lock, pedal locks etc… are good, ONLY A TRACKING SYSTEM LIKE OURS ALLOWS YOU TO RECOVER (AND ALSO PROTECT) YOUR VEHICLE IF YOUR CAR IS HIJACKED FROM YOU WHILE DRIVING. Our trackers are both anti-theft and recovery in nature. e.g. You should shutdown your car before you sleep at night or park in a public space. Whenever you need to start the car, you enable it also.

(2) Remote Monitoring: GPS Security trackers allows you to monitor your vehicle location remotely from your phone. You are able to view your car’s location in real time (from our IOS/ANDROID APPS).

(3) Vehicle History: Through our online platform (IOS/ANDROID APPS) , you can view where your car had been between DAY X and DAY Y. A plot is shown on a map showing your car’s movement over this period of time.

(4) Remotely Stop Your Car: With our security GPS tracker, you are able to stop your car from ANY PHONE with an sms command. This function can also be carried out through our online platforms.

(5) Geo-Fencing Alarm:If your car goes beyond set a radius (or multi-point), say Lagos, you will be notified by sms.

(6) Other alarms (Over-speed Alarm, Ignition On Alarm, Low Battery Alarm ): Over-speed alarms notifies you via sms when your car goes beyond a particular speed. Ignition on notifies you WHENEVER your car is started. Low Battery Alarm lets you know when your car battery is low.

(7) Daily Mileage report (online platform): Daily mileage report shows you a daily chart (in KM) of your car.

We have heard of one or two expereience of how clients were able to recover their vehicles BECAUSE THEY HAD A TRACKER INSTALLED IN IT. We will be sharing some of them with you based on TRUE LIFE EXPERIENCES.

If you have had personal experiences also, kindly share with us.

WE STILL INSTALL THE MOST AFFORDABLE TRACKERS AROUND STARTING FROM 25K (VARIES WITH CAR MODEL).

CONTACT US ON 09032614208 OR 08060675824. More details on tracker: https://mymoto.com.ng/why-you-should-install-the-mymoto-security-tracker/

WE ARE THE ONLY COMPANY THAT OFFERS FREE LIFETIME ACCESS TO OUR ONLINE PLATFORMS FOR MONITORING/STOPpING YOUR CAR.

YOU'VE SPENT QUITE MUCH TO ACQUIRE YOUR CAR, SECURE IT WITH A TRACKER. BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY

Story 1
During one of our installs, the client shared with us how Mr Ayo (not his real name) borrowed his brothers car, and waylaid in the night somewhere in Lagos. Unknown to the thieves, the car had a tracker in it. That same night they tracked the vehicle to a military baracks (apparenntly the thieves had accomplices with military connections). They went with the police and they were able to recover the car (THE DEMOBILIZE FUNCTION OF THE TRACKER WAS USED TO ENSURE THE CAR DID NOT MOVE UNTIL THEY GOT TO THAT LOCATION)...

Story 2
Mr Bayo was bout entering his car in the night somewhere in Lagos when he was attacked. He immediately used his phone to demobilize the car some minutes after they had zoomed away with the car. The thieves ran away when they discovered the car wasn't strating again. The car was tracked to Ajah. Apparently the thieves ran away in fear with the keys of the car grin

Well, my long term plan or goal , well I mean this in the most respectful way . A good business man will not reveal is plan out in the open. But one thing I will tell you, is that I will continue doing uber till I can do it .. And I don't plan to do more than 5 cars on uber .. That has always been part of my goal .. In any business there is nothing sweet as daily cash flow, which uber has provider, now what I do with the cash flow from uber is another story on its own.... Car business is a headache for me . It ties down money and at times the profit margin is peanuts for me .. But I still do it ....

From been Uber agent, to illegitimate earnings.

Don't allow frustration to affect your beliefs.

Some drivers here are completely frustrated, they feel they should be somewhere better, yet they are still with Uber.

one day draw a graph of your capital, your expenditure and income, if you do that you will know uber was not designed for rental. You have spent more than you have gained and vehicles value will drop so drastically even when you want to cash out.
