JustMellow:I sent them an email and have not gotten a reply. It’s been 12 days now since I got the message from cic. About the bank statement, it wasn’t the regular one. It’s a different method of generating a statement from bank in which the statement is going to be uploaded to their server, where you are going to be given a ticket number and password. That’s only what they wanted. The password and the I.d will be used to access your statement from their server. Thank you for your concern, what do you think I should do now |

It depends on the University actually. My application status says "The Faculty of Graduate Studies has received sufficient documents to begin an evaluation of your application. You will be notified as soon as possible once the review has been completed." I just chose two supervisors in my field when I applied, they did not ask me to contact them first. marcus267: |

This is indeed God!! I tap into a good news like this! Approval alert!!! Paper route Feb 15 Biometric Feb 15 Upfront medicals Biometric correspondence mail. April 18 Approved. April 24. Classes begins: May 13th. MUN I am so so grateful to God, don't even know where to start from. My approval is a miracle o. I never knew about this forum until 3 weeks after applying, whoops!! And when I started reading posts here I was so scared that I messed up my application, because I felt my documents I submitted wasn't complete, like affidavits of sponsor, certificates, and what made me scared the most was my sponsor..I used a third party sponsor, I don't even know the person, he just allowed me to use his SOA (but he was a kind man tho. I approached him that day and gave Me his SOA the next day) and my parent weren't financially buoyant at all.. I just used what I saw on Google and CIC website to apply o. So when I started reading post here about the nairobi guys, home ties, third party sponsor...I was so damn scared , I lot hope already, I was just waiting for a refusal sef so I can reapply better and in peace, because the tension ehh no be here o. A big thank you to @ Qudkom @ makano for your advice. @Dmerciful my personal VO ,i worried him as if he was the VO handling my application o..lol, he advised me to send another SOA (mine and my elder brother)via web form and mail to them even after getting biometric correspondence mail. thanks for your support and prayers only God can repay you. Above all i thank God almighty for his favour and grace. I fasted and prayed earnestly, and God almighty manifested . Thanks to everyone on this platform and to all the hopefuls, God will show his favour on your application. Amen. You are next to testify. Documents submitted Passport CIC form SOP Notification of result Admission letter Employment letter Birth certificate Mothers birth certificate Third party sponsor SOA. The key to unlocking graduate admissions after satisfying all entry requirements in Canada is the acceptance from a supervisor. No consent from a supervisor, no party. Forget those things you see on their website. Your application will remain pending even after satisfying eligibility requirements until a supervisor picks you. Canadian schools have a very low lecturer/student ratio and so postgraduate schools usually wait till a student is paired with a supervisor before issuing offers. My advice to you will be to call or email the secretary to the PG school and find out the status of your application. If none of the supervisors you chose have accepted you, you will need to mail them to find out if they are currently accepting students. If the aren't, you will need to either find another supervisor, switch to a course based MSc. or seek admission in another Canadian institution. waynee2baba: 2 Likes 1 Share |

5p1naz:I told her the same thing but she said she doesn't want to start wasting money on English language test in attempt to achieve the points required, and then start waiting in pool for months. Though she said that her friend studying PhD in Canada advised her that coming through study permit is the best way to migrate because many people with the EE Visa still find it difficult to secure a professional well paid jobs due to the lack of a Canadian qualification. The guy told her that employers value job applicants with Canadian certificate more and pay them high. 3 Likes 1 Share |

kcosam: To an extent, you are very right but then EE looks good because you pay less in tuition and comes with some benefits as well as in health and the rest. There is job in Canada and at the same time there is no job. They value their certificates more in job hunting but that doesn’t mean pple without their certificates don’t get job. I know of someone who had his masters in Canada but after school, he didn’t apply to some jobs with his masters but then he has varsly experienced and he applied with Nigerian BSC and still got job offers. If her mind goes with studies then let her calm down plan properly with what she’s gonna submit to the embassy and make sure it tally’s with IRCC requirements and I believe she will get it. That’s if she believes. Nothing is difficult about Study permit, If you do it right with God’s guidance. 2 Likes |

Send one email to ALL the offices - Lagos, London and Nairobi, using a BCC - blind copying. The reply should come faster. Subject should always be 'URGENT, application number, UCI'. Say you've bought your flight ticket, include a photograph/copy of the ticket in the email. mulikky: |

guzenaira:Thanks a lot, I will still talk to her, though she is thinking that applying through study would make it easy for her to migrate and bring her family afterwards. She said that her spouse is jobless for now and may likely not pass the required English language test in one sitting if she goes with the EE process, thereby causing her to keep paying for the test over and over again in order to achieve a good point. |

Hi Guys, thanks for this great platform; its really helpful. I just acquired a land to serve as a home tie and I was given only deed of agreement prepared by a lawyer and no form of land title; so am asking, is it enough to prove am the rightful owner of the land? or should I go ahead to process the C of O but the challenge its, it takes a long time to get the C of O; Please I will accept contributions of the kind of documents to present to embassy for a landed property. Thanks |

Hello Justwise, noted tho.. But if u have been going through ma posts, I have never talked to someone sending me a message apart from posts related to the CIC Phone numbers, and the reason why I said May/June/July applicants should pm me is cos where I got the numbers, I was told its strictly for Applicants with application above 7 months thats why I dont want to make it public here cos am sure even someone that applied for the study permit yesterday will wanna call the numbers.. So don't think am telling peeps to pm me for the purpose of personal gain. Peace justwise: 4 Likes |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by makano: 10:09pm On Apr 29, 2019 |
Defer ur admission to the next Resumption date and notify the school about the delay of ur Study permit.. Also send like 5 emails per day to all the Offices i.e London, Lagos, Kenya, Ghana e.t.c explaining ur predicament and make ur Subject VERY URGENT. Do it through out this week and lets see what comes out of it, also in addition send mails to the MP in charge of ur province(where ur school is located), u can google this tho. Good luck.. (Dunno which office is in charge of ur application) Anamekele: 1 Like |
