Good Evening house, please oh, I don't know what is happening with WES again ohh and I don't want to start accusing village people yet. I have registered for WES since 18th of February, faxed credentials to them, gotten confirmation that my WAEC package has gotten to WES and school has also confirmed that my transcript had been sent to WES, unfortunately all I have been seeing is 'we received your documents, we are reviewing your documents' updated about 6 times now. Meanwhile, I registered for husband's WES on 23rd of March, only for them to send a mail to him few days ago that they only got his Credentials which I faxed to them. Now today they have updated his status that documents for verification has been sent to his school (LAUTECH ohh). I have sent a mail to WES requesting to know what is delaying them, but got a generic response. Is there any other magic I can perform to know the reason for delay. 1 Like |

I NEED HELP. Here's the background and summary of what happened; Because SouthAfrica issues only 3 months visitors visa to Nigerians, an agent said he could help me obtain a 1yr visa if applied from Ghana and that all I'd need is just to drop my passport. As I was younger and vulnerable, I agreed, paid him the charge and gave him my passport. Weeks later, he returned my passport with the 1yr visa on it. I noticed some stamps on it that shows entry into Ghana and another like a resident permit in Ghana. I believe they needed to put those to be able to apply from Ghana and I didn't think much of it. This was in 2011. Fast forward to a year after, I applied for UK tourist visa through a different travel agent and was granted. Visited and returned. When the visa expired, I applied for a renewal and was granted 2yrs visa, but when I got to UK airport, the immigration officer saw the Ghana stamps and told me they're fake and that I've never been to Ghana. I claimed I've been to Ghana but eventually I could not defend the stamps and admitted I've never been to Ghana before. The travel agent used my passport to fill the application form and he just listed all the country stamps he saw on the passport under my Travel History. So because Ghana was listed in the visa application as one of the countries I've visited, I was told I misrepresented information in my application, therefore visa was cancelled and entry denied. I was returned to Nigeria the following day. With a new passport, I applied for Canada TRV in 2014 and 2015 and both approved. This UK denied entry was not mentioned in either of the applications as I thought the statutory questions were referring to just Canada, so I picked NO. Now I want to apply for Canada PR through the express entry and I want to make sure to correct this mistake and mention the denied entry but I really don't know if that's good enough. What effects can this have on my PR application? Can they charge me for misrepresentation in previous TRV applications even though there's no misrepresentation in this PR application? How best can I address this situation? Please seniors, your invaluable advice is needed. Thanks. @justwise @Omobendel24 @Maternal @Jawa 3 Likes 1 Share |

You have no choice but to come out clean this time around. You can explain just like you did here why you did not put the information on your TRV. The alternative is to keep looking over your shoulders for the rest of your life as you can be deported even after 80yrs as a PR and citizen (that is assuming they don't catch you during the PR application and slam you with a 5yr ban). It's usually a situation of asking the bank if such letters/statements are valid and authentic and provided by the bank. Which the bank can confirm. I don't know of Canada (but seeing as sometimes, they ask people for updated POF, it's likely they do it same way), but that's how some other countries do it Edmontonlad: |

Never wanted to leave Nigeria for any western country. Anyway, My Canada journey started in September 2017, when my company first gave indication about dropping people and seeing that the unemployment rate is sky rocketing. When I finished school in 2008,i used to see several job adverts though highly competitive. Nowadays, one needs to fast and pray before a company will advertise, especially for graduate roles. I also don't want my kids to struggle in this country, hence my Canada dream. IELTS: - 1st attempt - December 4th 2017 LRSW - 8, 8.5, 6.5, 6.5. 2nd attempt - July 2018 LRSW - 8, 7.5, 7, 6.5 3rd attempt - Sept 2018 LRSW - 9, 8.5, 7, 7 Meanwhile, I didn't know that it was possible to remark. I had not joined NL. People say information is power. My people perish because of lack of knowledge. NOC CHANGE Got ITA 15th October 2018. Pre-ITA I chose my NOC based on my educational qualifications.(Chemical Engineering) Still a JJC. But I'm currently working as a mechanical engineer. After I got my reference letter, I decided to change my NOC to mechanical engineering. I got some useful information online, that it's possible to change NOC post ITA. Anyway, I supported my decision with a detailed letter of explanation. It was just the holy spirit leading me, I was restless within my spirit until I changed the NOC. PROOF OF FUNDS I used only statement of account. Wrote LOE for a large sum of money deposited into my account. The money came from my other investment, so I attached the MoU for my investment. I highlighted in yellow when the initial fund entered my account and when I transferred the cash to the company. I later raised a CSE to include a standard bank reference letter. This letter only stated when I opened the account and that the account has been operated without any issues. Off course the letter does not meet CIC requirements WORK EXPERIENCE My wonderful manager prepared my reference letter in CIC format. He was a bit disappointed that I want to leave the company. I attached pay slips for some months in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018. MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE. I attached both my church wedding certificate and court wedding certificate. However, I noticed that CIC recorded my court wedding date as the day of marriage. Even though, I did my church wedding first. 59 Likes 2 Shares |

teechedah:All of that depends on your score, why not simulate it with her writing IELTS alone and not doing ECA, then with her doing both and see which one favours you more. As I said earlier a score above 450 is sufficient to get you ITA. |

For Unical I used this for my husband's degree. https://alumni.unical.edu.ng/web/guest/itranscript (However, we used ICES, not WES, so no need for verification. I don't know if/how they handle the verification that WES usually requires) No info for Uniuyo Duakkie: 1 Like |
