Seniors, please which comes first? R10 completeness check or MEP/BIL? If for instance, I did not submit the correct police certiificate, will I be rejected early on or months after MEP/BIL? |

Good Afternoon my people, Please I need help. I just received my ECA report from WES somewhere was written, "the names on one or more of the credentials submitted for evaluation differ from the name above" I looked carefully, only to see that on my NECO evaluation, my name Progress was spelt as Profress. Meanwhile I dont have my name spelt as such on any of my documents Thought everything is fine in my bachelor's degree Please what do you advice? What can be done? Is it something to worry about. Although I still hope to evaluate my Msc later in the year |

From what I read on various platforms, R10 completeness check happens around the same time with MEP/BIL. The fact that people that get rejection due to R10 completeness check get it around the time they are expecting MEP/BIL corroborates this. ladymarshall: 3 Likes |

Hello my beautiful E-fam, (ECA SUCCESS STORY) Its not PPR OOO but am happy I've crossed this hurdle as it was not an easy one for me so i want to share with you guyz. Am very happy and am wondering how it ll feel when PPR comes...lolsss I started my journey to WES in October, 2018. I evaluated my WAEC, B.SC and M.SC. I sent all my documents via hellofax to WES. WAEC: I and hubby personally went to Yaba to process WAEC transcript. Apart from the fee paid(cant remember) for the processing , we were asked to pay 10k for courier. But we decided to collabo with another applicant (na sharp tinz here oo, no dulling) and used the same big envelope for sending so we shared the courier fee and paid like 5k. Took three weeks to complete the process. My uncle was in Nija in December so we just bought WAEC scratch card, enveloped it, addressed it to WES with our reference number and gave to him. He sent it via fedex from U.S to WES. Got there in two days. B.sc: This was a smooth ride because hubby works in LASU and I graduated from Lagos state University. He just followed up with transcript and verification. The process (transcript &verification) was completed within three weeks. M.sc: This was the one that took soo much time, and energy to get processed. The story here long no be small but I will shorten it. I did my Masters in UNILAG. Its supposedly called the University of first choice...I no see how that one take be first choice ooo. Sending transcript to WES was wahalah. It took UNILAG two months to send transcript to WES. I was furious, I visited UNILAG like four times, even sent several mails to them. I eventually got a guys contact in records from someone in this thread. God bless this e-fam. That was when the transcript was sent eventually. Then verification wahalah started from January till March. WES sent mail two times to UNILAG. Even the contact I had said they did not receive any mail from WES. Then I sent a stinker mail to UNILAG. Finally, they replied WES. The process (transcript & verification) was completed in 18weeks. The wait was exhausting but because I was still on IELTS, I just calmed down. ECA Report: Got an update on the 18th of March from WES that they received my documents and they are reviewing it. Then got another update on the 8th of April that they are reviewing my report and it will be completed by 30th of April. Just got my report today and it states that Masters is equivalent to Canadian Masters degree. Next stop: Waiting for IELTS result. But am diving into the pool with my previous IELTS result of LRWS (7.5, 7, 7, 7.5). Will still share my success story here as well. ADVISE: WES is still the fastest evaluation body, however, if your school is like UNILAG and you want to go ahead with WES, just be ready to chill and be eating puffpuff and sipping zobo..lolss.. All the same, glory be to God. It will end in praise. 24 Likes 1 Share

Congratulations!!! So happy for you. I didn't know cancelled applications can be appealed for reopening through raising a CSE without paying a lawyer. You even applied for withdrawal of second application, nice!!! This is really helpful for any whose application gets rejected early on and rectifies it. Thank you. Normally I would have given you 3 for giving us only PPR timetable, but for this novel information, take 4.2/10 All the best in Canada. dislat: 4 Likes |

Progress2468: One and same person affidavit would help. WES made the same comment on my evaluation report because I had a different surname. On a closer look at my credentials, I discovered that my first and middle names were spelled differently on my birth certificate. I did one and same person affidavit to rectify all the errors. 1 Like |

Congratulations on your PPR!! Information is indeed power, see your mistakes but great that you corrected them asap and now it has ended in praise for you and your family. Thank you for your script. You score 7.2/10 Can you please clarify your POF section for us? You mean you submitted only bank statement and LOE as proof without any official bank letter as specified by CIC and still got PPR, amazing! Uchihasasuke19: |

I slept well knowing that I had fulfilled all righteousness. @johnnybravo1990, there is really no harm in trying. Kindly do the needful On another note, I was refunded the sum of N1665.30(by CIC) about a week after my application was submitted. Other than a credit alert, no explanation was given. Has anyone experienced this? Could there be an explanation for this? Another thing is I submitted a generic letter of introduction from my bank, a certificate of treasury bills and a letter of non-indebtedness from my bank. I didn't submit any statement of account. Should I be worried? Can someone also assist in adding me to the February ITA group Once again, please you guys should help a confused me Topsmamen: 3 Likes |

Chynwey: Hi, I think the docs you submitted as POF are sufficient. When was your AOR? I think you should join AOR group instead of ITA group since you are post-AOR 1 Like |

For an activity driven dude like me, I'm just getting impatient with IQAS. I hate it that I can't seem to do anything. Its 81 days since my documents arrived there and no response. Although current trends suggests that I'll be attended to in the next 20/30 days, I'm just not having all of that. Plus having my IELTS in the bag is making it worse. I called them yesterday and I was attended to by an apology of a customer care agent. I immediately moved to twitter to send the Government of Alberta (my future Government) a DM. I also sent IQAS mails. My mind is already putting together a back up plan with WES, I'm thinking of going the 2 or more certificate way, my LLB and Law School but the money no be here, plus I'll lose points (454 to 447)which means soon-to-be Mrs A would have to write IELTS (another 68k). I'm not even as agitated about my wedding that cojes up in 16 days time, as I am about IQAS. This Canada just has to be worth it. The city of Calgary is blessed for my sake! The legal services industry is blessed for me! That we shall succeed is as sure as God reigns! #AfternoonRant. 29 Likes |

Hello good people, I just started my immigration process to Canada. I sincerely thank the faithful people in this forum for their kind contribution. I am very grateful for the insights from this platform. I am just at the process of applying for WES and about to prepare for IELTS. Any offer of advice from good people on how to hasten the process because by August I will be a year older which should be a moment of joy but it won't be a moment of joy for calculating CRS score. I have both BSc and MSc in communication at UNILAG. then on what occasions does WES require verification from the university. My spouse would not be evaluating his result but doing ielts. Then good people sincerely i dont have POF o. please how can I resolve this before my days start counting so as to know how to prepare before the time comes. Thank you very much people for your sincere answers. Anticipating your kind response. |

Progress2468: I think you should do an affidavit to support the document. Seniors in the house please correct if am wrong Also for clarification purpose will verifying your MSC add more to your points after you had done your bachelors degree? Please I need to understand if it will be of benefit instead of just doing masters alone. Thanks |
