God bless you. pyruvateluv:
Yes I do and I have seen 2 persons share their testimonies too, you can search for them or refer to page 1. Moreover, I have asked same question on their Twitter page and they admitted that it can be used as far its equivalent to a Canadian certificate; the duration doesn't matter as far one of the certificates is above 3 years duration |

I am one of those people that believe so much in Nigeria. Never wanted to leave Nigeria for any western country. Anyway, My Canada journey started in September 2017, when my company first gave indication about dropping people and seeing that the unemployment rate is sky rocketing. When I finished school in 2008,i used to see several job adverts though highly competitive. Nowadays, one needs to fast and pray before a company will advertise, especially for graduate roles. I also don't want my kids to struggle in this country, hence my Canada dream.
IELTS: - 1st attempt - December 4th 2017 LRSW - 8, 8.5, 6.5, 6.5.
2nd attempt - July 2018 LRSW - 8, 7.5, 7, 6.5
3rd attempt - Sept 2018 LRSW - 9, 8.5, 7, 7
Meanwhile, I didn't know that it was possible to remark. I had not joined NL. People say information is power. My people perish because of lack of knowledge.
NOC CHANGE
Got ITA 15th October 2018. Pre-ITA I chose my NOC based on my educational qualifications.(Chemical Engineering) Still a JJC.
But I'm currently working as a mechanical engineer. After I got my reference letter, I decided to change my NOC to mechanical engineering. I got some useful information online, that it's possible to change NOC post ITA.
Anyway, I supported my decision with a detailed letter of explanation.
It was just the holy spirit leading me, I was restless within my spirit until I changed the NOC.
PROOF OF FUNDS
I used only statement of account. Wrote LOE for a large sum of money deposited into my account. The money came from my other investment, so I attached the MoU for my investment. I highlighted in yellow when the initial fund entered my account and when I transferred the cash to the company.
WORK EXPERIENCE
My wonderful manager prepared my reference letter in CIC format. He was a bit disappointed that I want to leave the company. I attached pay slips for some months in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018.
MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE.
I attached both my church wedding certificate and court wedding certificate. However, I noticed that CIC recorded my court wedding date as the day of marriage. Even though, I did my church wedding first.
Wow...Congratulations to you and yours... We will all testify soon too 2 Likes |

Chynwey: I slept well knowing that I had fulfilled all righteousness. @johnnybravo1990, there is really no harm in trying. Kindly do the needful
On another note, I was refunded the sum of N1665.30(by CIC) about a week after my application was submitted. Other than a credit alert, no explanation was given. Has anyone experienced this? Could there be an explanation for this?
Another thing is I submitted a generic letter of introduction from my bank, a certificate of treasury bills and a letter of non-indebtedness from my bank. I didn't submit any statement of account. Should I be worried? Can someone also assist in adding me to the February ITA group
Once again, please you guys should help a confused me

Thanks. Yes they do but the ECA summary is usually not favourable - not equivalent to any Canadian degree. I advise you do a further research before you proceed. |

twiggy21: Hi everyone, I have a question. So I submitted my Express Entry application, and I'm currently in the pool. However, my CRS is 434, and I'm looking for ways to boost my score. I've thought about a certificate, but the question is, which certificates are considered acceptable by IRCC? And as an alternative, are there diploma courses that are less than a year that I can do? PS: the only other option when it comes to boosting my CRS is the French language test. I've reached the maximum band for IELTS, and I'd rather not take the French language route, if I can get a certificate instead.
Thank you. Hi, if you have BSc as your highest degree qualification, you can do CIMA (shorter time-wise), Unilag HRDC, BCS , BTEC.
IMO, CIMA is kinda realistic if you're determined. 3 Likes |

Yeah, I get that part. What I dont know is if giving her or her family gifts or vice versa is seen as paying them for the application or sthg like that. Cos the question says I have to explain if I have given them money or gifts before and vice-versa Topsmamen:
Yes. You're adding your spouse after AOR. It's natural that they'll want to verify your marital status and/or ties to your spouse and her family. |

snoop4dem: Hi Guys, has anyone been asked to fill a Relationship Questionnaire as an address after adding their spouse to their application post AOR. I got an address from CIC to fill this form and I have some questions about it. They are pretty much straight forward questions asking me if I have given gifts (money, material, other, etc) to my spouse or her family and vice-versa. I am trying to understand the context of CIC and I am just looking for someone to bounce ideas off them? yes I did |

(ECA SUCCESS STORY)
Its not PPR OOO but am happy I've crossed this hurdle as it was not an easy one for me so i want to share with you guyz. Am very happy and am wondering how it ll feel when PPR comes...lolsss
ADVISE: WES is still the fastest evaluation body, however, if your school is like UNILAG and you want to go ahead with WES, just be ready to chill and be eating puffpuff and sipping zobo..lolss.. All the same, glory be to God. It will end in praise.
Chai! My school is not like Unilag. Its is actually Unilag and same MSc. Well I trust God. Congratulations on scaling the hurdle. 2 Likes |

Hello...
I have been reading this thread and I have found it interesting but I don’t seem to really find my situation here so I need help
First my spouse is the PA but I got a ban from Canada(2years ban) in 2014 for Study visa and it’s over now because of Misrepresentation. I want to know if this would affect our application or do I need to go through anyone to sort this issue out. Please help me out because it’s been bothering me since morning.
Thank you |

Topsmamen:
Download the form here.
Fill the form and place your finger prints, attach a passport photograph along with a copy of the bio-data page of your Int'l passport. Send to a friend/family in Naija, the person takes it to CID Alagbon for processing. If not same day, you should get it within 2-3 days. Thanks very much. 1 Like 1 Share |

Hi gud evening, pls I sent u a pm....want to connect with u please ruicosta2000: I'm sorry this is coming late. I started the journey around June 2018. I am a silent reader and was inspired by the success stories I read here. And so I decided to give it a try. ECA was with WES and straightforward. IELTS was on July 7. Initially had LRWS 8 8.5 6.5 8 but EOR was successful and writing upgraded to 7. I noticed the score change in the morning of August 8. I started following up with IDP Australia a week after I submitted the EOR on July 20 and always checked online early in the morning and just before I sleep at night. Called IDP that Wednesday morning (there was going to be a draw that day) to find out if they had the hard copy same day and went to their office at Ogudu to pick up. They had the hard copy but hadn't mailed me to pick it up yet as the bank draft for refund of the EOR fee wasn't ready yet. I told them I didn't mind and could pick up the draft later. I got the ITA same day. Submitted the application on Sept 1 and notified them of my intention to add common-law partner on November 7. We were given 30 days to submit the additional documents. Submitted on December 7. I received a mail requesting her to do Biometrics and a few minutes later, the PPR mail came on February 12. Documents submitted include AXA Money Market as POF Bank Account letter of confirmation and proof of investment in Fixed deposit. Letter from a Close Friend attesting to the relationship AXA life insurance policy naming her as beneficiary. Rent receipt in both our names for one year. Statement of account showing transfers from my account to hers over the past one year Photographs taken together with time date of location spanning one year (10 photos). I wish everyone speedy processing and success.

Did you send the affidavit to WES for them to correct or that affidavit is for subsequent submissions for express entry? Adunnee:
One and same person affidavit would help. WES made the same comment on my evaluation report because I had a different surname. On a closer look at my credentials, I discovered that my first and middle names were spelled differently on my birth certificate. I did one and same person affidavit to rectify all the errors. |
