Well the factors involved are really comprehensive and I hope you'll do justice in providing documents and facts to ascertain your sponsors ability to sponsor you.
Is your sponsor your parents or 3rd party?

Hello friend, let me be more precise hear. I'm 32 years of age and I'm just done with my NYSC, I studies Accounting and I'm looking towards in going for my masters in Canada. I own an event center that generates roughly 15m for me annually plus I own a small house I live in. I current have 10m as my balance which I intend on spending on my studies for the first year at least, I just wanted to know my chances of getting a visa with all I have said so far. Your response will be greatly appreciated.

You are a mature applicant and finance aside, a VO needs to understand what took you so long to apply for a post graduate program. It is up to you to strategically prove you aren't using the study permit route to immigrate rather to further your education and come back after your studies. (PURPOSE OF VISIT)

you also need to show you have sufficient ties to your home countries. You can read my previous posts I spoke extensively on this topic. Home ties are the economical, social, family factors etc that can compel you to come back.
(HOME TIES)

Above all you need to show academic progression and make sure you have subtle experience in the program you are vying for.

What was your previous degree?
How many years study gap?
Using a Co sponsor?
You need to answe the following.....

Welcome to this platform. I hope you get the answers to all that you seek. The process of submitting a visa application comes with various twists and turns and when you are well equipped with the right knowledge and guide it makes things Easy.

Before anything you need to take care of all education credentials and ensuee you can provide supporting documents I.e waec certificate, transcript, bsc certificate etc

After this step you makes sure you can provide a good breakdown of your study gaps still date. Hence, providing a timeline of all activities.

After that you cover the main section. Which ia finance and home ties.... All the best. Regarding SOP you can take care of this criteria first. All the best.
Thanks @ Qudkom. I have all my educational credentials, finished Nysc 2017 and I have been running my own business since 2018, i' m putting other documents in place. please what other documents is needed?

I finally got a response from CIC and it was a denial after 11 months of waiting. Please how can I tackle the reason below:

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

Sincerely,

Wooow, this peeps are heartless tho, after 11 months they can still refuse someone TRV.. I feel ur pain tho.. I will suggest as usual to request for ur GCMS note, as it implies, the reason for ur refusal was the almighty Purpose of Visit meaning you didn't really convince them that you were a genuine student that wants to study in Canada and return to ur home country.. So request for ur GCMS note and see the real reason why u were refused.. I feel for you bro cos my application is 10 months too, waiting that long to get refused can be so heartbreaking, but dont give up bro re-apply again and u will get it.. But meanwhile wanna ask some questions, Did ur Eligibility review start before the refusal? Did u do upfront medicals for ur app? will appreciate ur response.. So please follow what i have sent earlier and get back to us when ur GCMS note is ready... Peace

If you claim to be self employed you need to show proof that your business is viable and compelling enough to bring you back home. So you need to gather relevant documents:
1. CAC documents
2. Company SOA
3. Business certificates
4. Compelling reason why you need the program for your supposed business back home

Then you need to decide how you handle the sponsor part and home ties.

Bracha:
Hello,

I'll reply to the best of my knowledge.

Before you pay your fees, please know the refund policy of the university/college. That being said, let me go to your questions proper.

1. You could pay through your DOM account or pay in naira. If you pay in naira, the charges/conversion rate may be higher, this may cause a reduction in what you'll pay. So, I suggest you pay using your DOM account. Ask your bank how to do this, tell them you have the money in naira, they should assist you.
This should take care of questions 1& 2.

3. Get his statement for end of April if you're submitting your application by May. I'm suggesting this because it MAY look shady if the remaining days of the month of April aren't included, one might think you have something to hide.

4. I think there's a guideline for addressing that reason for denial at the beginning of the 13th or 14th thread of this topic. Please check it out. On the other hand, someone might help you with that.

5. I can't help with this, Qudkom might help. He could outline it extensively for you here.

6. Use the passport. When you get to the expiration bridge/year, you'll cross it by getting a new one then.

7. What do you want the marriage certificate to show? What do you intend to prove by adding this document or your mother's passport and statement of account?

PS: please include your statement of account if you can; endeavour to write convincing statements for your home tie, include as much proof as you can.

God bless.

.

3) why he printed the account to that time is because he has 38m balance then so I don’t how much left now.. If he prints to the end of April the money has reduce as he said.
Please the statement he printed has his company name not his own name but he is the m/D CEO of the company. What do you have to say here please

7) the marriage certificate I got from him is a prove of his married to my sister... it that ok?
Then for adding my mom statement or her expired passport photo with Travel history is to show a second sponsor. Is that ok?

A) Please my school is Brandon University.. do you know the refund policy?
B) I have a two plot of land I bought bearing my name but never surveyed it... can I use it because I only have an IRREVOCABLE POWER OF ATTORNEY of the land?

C) my late dad has three plots of a landed property, surveyed and registered in lands the documents has my name and my elder bro name too, now I don’t have his death certificate as prove of its an inheritance from him.. but I still have his burial brochure can I use that? Or must it be date Cert?

D) my in-law gave me only his surveyed landed property but no irrevocable power of attorney can I use it?

And please do I have to include all this properties in my Sop or do I have to write a separate explanation letter for it? Bro please please can I have written SOP but can you help me to review it? No vex with all this my disturbance.

Qudkom:

Hello, please stop stressing yourself. Walk into any bank and request for the form to make an international transfer. Access bank I know makes this easy. You don't need to do an exchange or whatsoever to make your payment. It's very easy just give 2-3 working days to reflect in the schools account. Alao make sure your name or preferably your sponsors name appears on the invoice given to you in the bank. That way you can claim your "inlaw already paid your tuition deposit in your letter of sponsor".

6 months before your passport expires you can apply in ontario-ottawa at the Nigerian embassy. That's not a big deal.

Read my previous post on 3rd party sponsor for more information.

You will also need a detailed LOE to comprehensively explain previous refusal.

Thanks bro.
But If making the payment in the bank where or how can I add the sponsors names? Please do you have a sample of the LOE please give me.

Please the statement he printed has his company name not his own name but he is the m/D CEO of the company. What do you have to say here please

I cant categorically say that might be the problem, as we have seen applicants here getting their TRV without submitting an SOP.. But with my observation of those Applicants, I noticed they were all 1st class graduates with exceptional result, such applicants may not necessarily write an SOP.. But I must be truthful to you SOP is very important in ur Student Visa application, so u not submitting an SOP may have contributed to ur refusal.. So I will advice you write a convincing SOP in ur next application convincing the VO that u are solely going to Canada to study, thats after u have gotten ur GCMS tho.. Peace

But the problem is....UofC dont have option for Course-Base for Computer Science. My Application has been pending with them since November.
They stated it on their website that Supervisor is not required before the start of the program, then after someone apply, they leave ur application on pending till you can get yourself a supervisor. angry
Get the supervisor's list of the department and try reaching out to some of the lecturers.. Read thru the Original thread I think you'll get fantastic instructions on how best to get a supervisor. Goodluck bro
