In my case( in all my 3 applications) the only birth certificate I have ever provided was my son's. I didn't put my 6 siblings, my husband's nor my parent's

Just make sure to keep a copy of your application for life so that what ever you filled in would be consistent.

mzjokky16:
Pls house, i couldn't get my 6 siblings birth certificate, they have been destroyed with water, and i dont want them to do new one so it wont look somehow suspicious to the VO.
What can i do now cos that is d only document delaying my submission.

Good day all, I am directing this message to all trv hopefuls who applied for student Visa from January to February that haven't gotten a response from cic should start sending mail using the webform to communicate with cic to inquire about the status of their application as the current processing time is peg at 9 weeks , which I beleive would have exceeded the current processing time
And according to cic you are permitted to send a mail to them when it has exceeded the normal processing time
One love
Keep the positive spirit going
It shall end it praise

Hi
When did u get it. I got the same last week. I also know someone else that got the same last week. I've done medicals and have been passed tho. U might get medical request soon I guess.
I don't think it really matters anymore. Before, it used to signify final decision update. But now, I just don't know anymore. I'll suggest u take your mind off them and just focus on ur prayers.
Well other gurus can shed light on this for u....
I wish u well.

Lol they might not be!

Like in my case all my 6 siblings are gradutes, working and married with children so you see they might not be depends but cosponsors.

It doesn't matter. You are working and apparently still need a sponsor right?

Even applicants in their late 30's still seek sponsors. So the whole ussue surrounding dependents is speculative and not related to you having a job or whatsoever.

Everything is fine, CIC is just acknowledging the receipt of your biometric data and of course letting you know the duration of your current biometric which is 10yrs as usually and you don't need to submit another biometric within the 10yrs period for any other TRV except if you are applying for a PR. it is fine really, I wish you all the best.

The biometrics correspondence is a default mail you receive after biometrics exercise and not a big deal. It has no link to your application approval just a default exercise. However people sometimes receive it just before ppr. All fingers crossed!

Qudkom:

If you claim to be self employed you need to show proof that your business is viable and compelling enough to bring you back home. So you need to gather relevant documents:
1. CAC documents
2. Company SOA
3. Business certificates
4. Compelling reason why you need the program for your supposed business back home

Then you need to decide how you handle the sponsor part and home ties.
Thanks

Correspondence mail for biometrics? That's normal, you're getting it because you just did your biometrics, and you're being informed of its validity.
But if it's Letter of Introduction for port of entry, then you're favoured. So, which is it?

[quote author=wealthmiq post=78031199]Good morning everyone. I'm just curious please. I just got correspondence mail without upfront medicals. if all is going well, is medical request not supposed to come before correspondence mail? Let me share my experience with you. I have applied 3 times for TRV. The first was in 2015 via online route and I did upfront medical which was updated to pass after 4 weeks, and I got a refusal mail 2 weeks after. The second application was in October 2018 via paper route, I didn't do medical. I also didn't do biometrics as I explained to the guy at VFS that I had done it before? I got a biometrics correspondence after 4 weeks of my application and a refusal letter "that my processed passport is ready for collection at VFS" 2 weeks later. Total time for processing my application on the first 2 occasions were approximately 6 weeks both online and paper. I submitted a third application 2nd of April and yet to receive any correspondence.

good afternoon house,

I currently applied for a masters program to a Canadian university(Simon Fraser university) that didn't request for TOEFL because Nigeria official language is English.

But in some of the post I'm seeing TOEFL test score as part of documents to be submitted when applying for student visa. my question is should I write the exam or I should just continue my visa application without it.

Also, please I need a comprehensive information on students visa requirement.

Thanks for your response
