According to the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials "Note that provincial and territorial authorities are generally not set up to issue certificates of qualification to individuals outside Canada. You may find relevant information before your arrival in Canada, but the process might require you to be physically present in order to complete it."

Link here: https://www.cicic.ca/938/occupational_profile.canada?&id=338

You can see the documents for what each province requires on that same link. Found this with a quick Google search. Take time to research the requirements.

Thanks @amaya21 I want to assess as a Dressmaker and it's provinces that assesses trade certificates

Hhhmmm is my post not visible enough? Maybe the thread is for people with degrees and higher certificates.... Just thinking aloud... Will look elsewhere for answer to my question. Thanks everyone.
sorry about your ignored query. Seems almost everyone is not well versed, concerning the trades program, hence the silence.
However, you could make some findings on canadavisa forum. You should get some answers there
Goodluck

you could write CIMA, BCS, NACETEM, e.t.c
use the search bar to get more details

if i may ask why don't you want to write french?

Thanks. I can write French, but I figured it would be easier to get a certificate or diploma. But if I can't, I'd look at the French exam option.

1. If you have not started divorce proceedings, you can apply with husband unaccompanied. It basically means, you are still married but your husband is not going with you.

2. Enter the pool with your 4 years work experience. However still include your business in your personal history post ITA.
cc lalaan
In addition to this, you still have to provide pof, with your husband inclusive

Yes. It's Qlife. Do they allow switches From single applicants to family? I imagine it's for you and wifey??
If they do can we have this conversation again on the 10th please by then I d be certain.. Please.

Scandinavian02:

ITA also chopped yesterday.

Can we have a deal? Is your medical at Qlife?

Our Medical is on 17th of May, Madam and I are really worried about her RED showing on that day. Can you give us 13th while we give our 17th in the event of RED showing for you within the period?

Thanks

Thanks a bunch @joo2018. The issue with my certificate is, getting assessed. I have done mail to almost all the provinces across Canada and no response from them.

Please don't mind all the typo errors in the above message. I'm an average English speaker and I understand that i still have to write English Test in other to be fully integrated into whole process.

You need to give details on the credentials you intend to assess. Do you have a degree? Do you intend applying under FSW or FST? If FSW, you do not need a trade assessment if you have a degree.

All these are actually helpful. But if I understand her situation very well, things are not going according to plan in the relationship at the moment. The solution you and Uchi proferred will have been so the best way to go if not that she will also need to contact him to do medicals in addition to the POF provision which I believe shouldn't be a problem for her. If this can be achieved, then it is the best choice as it will save all the stress of numerous paper works here and there. If not she do just have file for separation or divorce as others adviced but I don't know the Nigerian judicial system and also how fast this process could take, we can't tell if she is hopeful things will get better between them in the future too. The last option which I am not too sure about should be for her to state her case explicitly using a say it all 'emotional LOE' stating her peculiar situation with succinct proofs to the VO just as she did to us and we understood and hope and pray that the reviewing officer is humane enough not to stand in the way of her achieving her dreams.

All praise and glory to God who makes all things possible. It’s not my PPR yet but it’s IELTS victory and as a result, ITA is here. For clarification, I have never failed a particular exam more than once before passing it the second time but this one humbled me ( not trying to show off oooooo. ). I knew I was going to write ielts exam so I started preparing for it but not too deep because I thought it’s the English I speak, write, read and listen to everyday. Little did I know that my shocker will reveal itself in the next couple of weeks.

I wrote for the 1st time on the 29th of September 2018 and the result came out terrible as in ehn, no other words to describe how it was LWRS - 7.5,6,7,7.5. I should add here that I wrote my letter and essay without paragraphs - big big mistake. So I said to myself, I will rewrite this and ace it accordingly . This time, I practiced and got some people to read my essays and letters after which I registered for the Nov 10th exam but it was disheartening when the result came out and I scored LWRS 8.5, 6.5,7.5,7.5. I immediately requested for a remark but the almighty EOR for BC came back unchanged. I wept and felt so terrible. By this time, my WES was already completed and I felt like I was the one holding my family back. After wasting about 2 months, I enrolled for the Jan 19th BC exam but it was same story, same disappointment and then I realized that I had to do something more extraordinary.

I joined the Wasseynewest’s WhatsApp group, met with amazing tutors like Busayomi, Jenny and Fidelis- these people are the real MVPs and may God bless you. If you are having difficulty with IELTS, please I implore you to join one of the task group cos u will definitely not regret it if u put ur heart into it. I didn’t register until I was sure and confident about my writing skills. I registered with MOD this time- talk about trying something new. Plus at this time, I booked for medicals and was scheduled for the 21st so I travelled down to Lagos on the 20th, slept over at Fountain hotel (got this location on Nairaland) which is just 2 buildings from Qlife. I was doing all these in faith, trusting God to make it work together for my good. I traveled with my family cos of the medical and we were the 2nd person on the list so we finished by 10:30am and we moved straight to OGUDU Ikeja for my speaking test.

Chaiiii, I had the worst speaking exam ehn because my examiner came so late, thus, the speaking module scheduled for 2pm happened around some minutes to 5pm. Anxiety and stress na wrong combination as I was totally worn out and could barely talk to the examiner. My hubby and children too had a frustrating experience waiting for me outside- what we do for love. Thank you so much for the support and encouragement. On the day of the LWR exam, my seat was positioned near a candidate that could not read silently, he was also either knocking the desk with his pencil or pressing his knuckles. Two weeks later, the result came out and was LWRS 8.5 6.5 7 7.5 and I immediately went for a remark of my writing cos I was confident of what I wrote. Followed through with IDP Australia and God was by my side as my writing was upgraded. Sitting pretty on CRS 466, I got ITA yesterday.

This journey is not for the faint at heart, there were times that I thought the whole migration thing wasn’t meant for me. If u have to do it countless times, just keep at it because eventually it will pay off. Apologies for the long post ooooo

Why not intiate the divorce process pending that you can get a letter from the court that you are separated which you can begin your application process with and once the divorce goes through you can raise "that thing that we raise to inform shey nah IRCC". Similar issues has been discussed on canadavisa, you can search or use google. Unfortunately I don't know how to attach links would have done so.
That way your POF will be for a family of 3 and you don't have to involve him in anything before he gets hell bent on going with you.

Lalaan:
Hi guys. I need proper guidance.this is my profile.
1. I'm 34, married with 2 kids, masters degree in the UK. 4 years working experience with Guinness as a facility co-ordinator. I'm an entrepreneur now and my business has been very good since 2017.
2. My husband and I don't live together. Let's just say we have been separated for 2 years. Still married legally but we don't talk.
3. He is uneducated.
4. I have always taken care of everything financially, from school fees to bills without him(even when we were on good terms) . There's proof of this.
Now my main concern is this:
1. I don't plan on applying with him for the express entry program because this would mean increase my proof of funds. So do I just get his consent for the kids?
2. Do I enter the pool using my previous work experience or use entrepreneurship?

Hi Upton, please forgive me for this late reply. TBH, these were the conclusions that most of us in the group came to having studied their pattern of issuing PPR in the preceding years. We have never gotten direct answers from them confirming this.

It's OD.
Upton:

Congratulations!!!
@ the bolded, does it mean AVO doesn't attend to PR applications or issue PPR between May and December?

OD, MBBS or PharmD @ professional degree??
