China now has more AI research the the US. HUAWEI is now the second most popular mobile phone.China 2025 has an economic vision to lead in AI,robotics,high tech medicine by 2025. These guys have frigates that are more advanced than the US navy. The whole "their technology is subpar stories is old news".Trump is trying to stop them but I think it's too late.

Chinese tech are not primarily inferior. Matter of fact they are one of the best out there.. iPhones are made in China, check the back of your "quality " electronic gadgets, they are mostly made in China.

The difference is, China have somewhat a relaxed piracy laws that's why most people go there to manufacture knockoffs. Chinese government for the most part look the other way. In comparison to UK, U.S , Canada etc. Government will be cracking down on those companies manufacturing knockoffs and the original company will sue the crap out them.

But in China, knockoff manufacturers thrive. But they have genuinely quality products.

For starters, Taiwan is not independent from China.

iPhone is manufactured in China just like most electronics. Again, China have a relaxed piracy laws that's one of the reasons people flock their to manufacture knockoffs because Chinese government will look the other way.

If you have been to China plus some other western countries you will understand better.

Considering the population of China , China is very technologically advanced than most western countries.

Catering for the technological needs of 1billion plus people is much harder than catering for 80 million people (which is average population of a country in west). Yet they are in front of the line in technological advancements.

my brother,it's obvious u don't understand technology....iPhone,Xbox, Lumia are manufactured by foxconn.foxconn has many manufacturers companies in China and vietnam.why so? because of CHEAP LABOR...foxconn is moving iPhone manufacturing out of China to India.

secondly,u still don't understand infringement of intellectual property...if apple Infringe on Intellectual property of say Microsoft or Google,iPhones into be sold in USA, Europe , Australia etc except china where intellectual property is dead.

Foxconn have factories in CHINA.

Hp, Dell, Philip's almost all the electronics company hung their shingles in China.

Visit China first if they will give you Visa and see the technological advancement in person. Then visit other western countries if you could and see the difference.

Again, it seems like all inferior goods come from China which according to legends is a fact not far from the truth. One of the reasons is that China have relaxed piracy laws that's why those companies still manufacture knockoffs but China have companies that genuinely manufacture top notch products.
