Secondly please when is the 14days visa starts Counting, is it from the date of issueing the visa or from the date of arrival in Dubai?

Because my expected date of departure is 11th of may to return 17th of May, but the visa expires 15th of May.

Please, I have some few queries and will like those that are in the finance/accounting field in UAE to please advise ME.

I'm a Chartered Accountant-ACCA-UK Member and also have passed CFA(US) level 1 and writing Level 11 CFA Exams by June'19 with more than 8 years relevant experience in Financial Modeling, ERP, Budgeting, Financial Planning & Analysis, etc.

Currently I' work as a Senior Financial Analyst here in Nigeria and make like..N500k per month. From my experience, it's really difficult for one to make above that without knowing someone (I might be wrong though).

Looking at coming to Dubai to job hunt and will like to know from those with local experience if its worth it and whats the best way to do go about it. I've had guys that have move from here and were lucky to find great jobs but all of them are in IT and not in Finance.

Any advice 'll be greatly appreciated.

You might not need to come to Dubai to job hunt. You might want to apply from Nigeria online and through agencies that hire people in senior positions. Accountants in senior roles with reputable companies are smiling here. With your level of experience and qualifications you can get a good offer. Avoid start up companies and make sure school allowance for kids if you have kids and accomodation allowance is included in your salary. Aim for the big and established companies in Dubai. If you really want to come here and try, take a short leave from work to job hunt.
