kettykin: It’s the same set characters that are Not igbo that has been doing this. They want igbos to fight each other so they constantly instigate fights. Sometimes new naive igbo children that register to nairaland don’t know about these fake characters. So they mistakenly join them to argue without having any idea the intentions of those characters. Look at what they did to the igbo unity thread. Any igbo progress makes them angry. 4 Likes |

asha80: It's impossible going by the thousands of new houses and businesses that have sprung up everywhere. Forget about the media war against Okorocha,Owerri in particular and Imo as a State has developed more than every State in Nigeria under him. He had a vision and set it out from 2011 to manifest towards 2019 and all index of improvement seems to be pointing the direction of Imo now that he is leaving. I hope and pray Ihedioha can sustain the momentum and not dwell on propaganda like Wike of Rivers State. 1 Like |

Abagworo is this what you mean by development of Owerri? There's no propaganda against Okorocha or Imo state because the failure of the state is very clear as crystal. I don't know any other place in the whole SE that looks this horrible if not Owerri or maybe Aba of which Ikpeazu is trying to fix. If Owerri is like this just imagine how the rest of imo state looks like. Okoroawusa failed woefully in his 8 wasted years despite massive debt burden he incurred. Under Okorocha imo state has failed in all indices as the worst state in the SE and among the worst in Nigeria. Why do you like misinforming Imolites with your propaganda? Lol Imo1stson:

The last picture is even the center of Owerri and there are still far more horrible pictures of such places within the town. Abagworo is a well known propagandist. Very soon Ihedioha shall expose the heavy mess Okorocha left behind. Everyone in Nigeria will shout soon once Ihedioha takes over. lol Read confession of Afam, a former mod, see his observation when he visited Owerri and Imo state at large. Osagyefo98:

horsepower101: Dunno why anyone should advise Chino to stop. Anyone can post any picture of their choice. You guys shouldn't take what happens here too seriously. We just visit this forum, read and view stuff and walk away. Nobody lives on Nairaland. If anyone wants to discuss serious issues that affect our people, we have age-grade and townhall meetings. What happens on Nairaland, stays on Nairaland Please let that sink in. 1 Like |

Imo thread at last. Hi. Pls someone needs advice from those who married from outside the state. A friend of mine from imo state is dating a girl from isoko and is thinking of settling down with her. However his family and especially his dad will not have any of it. Dads reason is that isoko tribe is quite fetish (not thag other tribes dont have their share of fetishism) and an igbo woman is a home builder by nature, plus language barrier issues between both families. My friend is confused and i decided to help him seek for neutral views from others who may have had experiences. Pls no insults. Abeg. Just quote me if you have any experience to share. Good one or bad one. Thanks guys |

Some people need to grow. These people tarnishing the image of Igbo land , are they married adults or nursing babies because it beats my imagination that humans behave this way. Very sorry for their parents, siblings, children, wives and loved ones if any. 2 Likes |

modestbrowser: the guy is truthful. Instead of these guys posting the true state of imo, they will be editing pictures and be dropping online. They forgot that to get government attention u must. Show the world what they are and uu will see them rushing to cover up. Uploading edited pics only gives them power to perpetuate more evil in the state. Let them continue. |

What's University of Creative Technology, bikonu? I learned that ICAPs is now dead! I cannot wait for May 29. Rochas needs to get out for someone with more adminstrative skill to run Imo State. Rochas has no atom of planning and adminstration... he's just constructing buildings upandan and be giving them names that come to his mind. 2 Likes |

SoNature: I don't think you understand that 10% of UTME writers and graduates from higher institutions are from Imo State alone. We deserve more higher institutions than Ogun State but what needs to bother you would have been funding but IMSU and Imopoly are running free education while the new institutions are going to pay. Eastern Palm University is paying already. Okorocha did well in building and establishing new campuses that spread across the State for our teeming admission seekers and it will create jobs and bring developments to the host communities. |

Ogboko town, Ideato South which is Okorocha's hometown is undergoing speedy development. Could be the future GRA of Orlu city. 4 Likes

Re: Few Pics From Imo State by kikake: 7:34pm On May 05, 2019 |
Imo1St son. Your association of Ogboko with possible GRA of Orlu city is ridiculous. The only road that connects Ogboko to Orlu - about 8 km distance - is the Akokwa-Orlu road which fails nearly every year due to uncompleted urban drainage in Orlu which Orlu hoped that Okorocha would complete when Orlu gave Okorocha the highest number of votes to become governor in 2011. Iberiberism made Okorocha refuse to complete the drainage system. Few persons from Orlu, perhaps people with family ties, ever travel downhill toward Ideato on that road. Okorocha fought Orlu for eight years as governor, deliberately increased the development gap between Owerri and Orlu by a million times, even destroyed existing govt projects in Orlu. He ended up fighting himself. Whenever the road from Orlu to Akokwa fails, as usual in the last thirty years, Okorocha's Ogboko and rest of Ideato get cut off from Orlu. Iberiberism is Okorocha in govt house. 1 Like |

Gov Okorocha wanted Uche Nwosu his son-in-law to become governor before Okorocha gathers more political clout to relocate Imo state university teaching hospital from Orlu to Owerri. His plan was destroyed by Imo state rejecting his son-in-law as his successor A governor who had the heart to watch this only road to his state's university teaching hospital decay like this must be a most callous governor. Okorocha's now futile drive to own a private Eastern Palm University in Ogboko made him reduce Imo to be Owerri, as he hoped to please Owerri let him have his way. 1 Like

Imo1stson: I get your point on education. You see, I don't just criticize Rochas to score poor political points. I must have seen some things before doing so. 1. Do you remember when Rochas started the construction of fences along all the streets in Owerri as a crime reduction measure and later abandoned them? They were an eyesore. 2. Do you also remember that Rochas built many flyovers and later demolished them? 3. Do you remember that Rochas started countless number of projects (esp hotels) and abandoned them along the line? All these signs show that he is bereft of leadership ideas. As a matter of fact, he wasted lots of state resources. In saner climes, they would prosecute him for such frivolity. 2 Likes
