1) Biodata page of your current passport and any visa on it is fine. There was a discussion a while back about submitting old passports and I think the conclusion was stick with your recent to avoid confusion.
2) Fine
3) No need to include your transcripts, just merge your two ECA together with your IELTS TRF and submit in the placeholder for education.
4) Everything you have is fine.
5) Also fine
6) Fine
7) No need to submit bank statement since you have your fixed deposit certificate. I submitted just that and gift deed.
cool Take the dimensions to the studio.
9) Nothing else
You pay for your biometric fee at the point of submission, then about 60 days after you get a request to go do your biometrics.

for passport photograph download "passport photo editor" from google play, get a white cardboard, take a selfie (without smiling or frowning, just maintain a stoic face) or better still, get someone to give you a shot. The app would give you options of which countries format you want, choose Canada. It resizes to IRCC format, and shows a correct sign if it meets up to standard. No need to go to a studio.

Thank you. I just watched, very informative and helpful video. I just updated my estimated budget, thanks. I'm destined for the GTA (by choice) so I look forward to that next opinion video, maybe you do it in comparison with career and personal ambitions, not just cost. Like if my core field is IT and communications or finance, why shy away from the industry hub of the country, even though it's very expensive? Or if I am into Oil and Gas, why waste money in Toronto instead of living in Calgary or Fort McMurray? etc. (cos I feel "new immigrants" consist of very wide diverse people with different specialisations, status levels and ambitions, I might be wrong).

upload also the ones that have a wrong job Tittle and add letter of explanation.

MY OPINION BEFORE NOW
submit only , reference letter , employment letter and promotion letter .if I get ADR for pay slip say in two months time , will already have a pay slip for 3months that carries the corrected pay slip. which I believe should be enough and of course, bank statement showing salary deposit .

what do u think ?

45-60 days but most times it's closer to 60 than 45.

starting the process tomorrow and I don't have a passport. The passport offices claim there is no booklet on Lagos. Just feel I should start ECA while waiting..

Call vfs to confirm if they’ve received it back from Accra.

It hasn't even been up to six months since my AOR and things have changed this much cry

Those guys should employ more hands and open up more offices biko

I don't know about ICES, but for WES you don't need it. Start it immediately.

It’s normal. Processing speed differs for applicants. You should have it this week. Give it some time.

To all those planning to take BCS with no prior knowledge in IT, this may be for you;

I am also planning to write the exam by September. We got New Horizon centre in Surulere to help us with tutorials (Since they used to be an approved centre in Nigeria before they stopped due to low turn out) Classes will start on the 8th June to August 3rd. Also there would be a 6 hours Final review class on the 7th of September.
Fee:50k (Part payment of 60% allowed to secure the spot, should you not have the full 60% now, 20 or 30% is allowed provided you pay up the remaining 30% or 40% before the classes begin). For more info, please send a PM.
Disclaimer: You are not paying to me, you will be paying directly into New Horizon school account. I have also paid mine and I have an evidence of payment and I paid for tutorial because I am not IT oriented so I need a tutor. 12 of us are on board with evidence of payment from all 12. My transcript has been delivered to them by my school since 27th February yet no communication.

What to do?

I'm seriously considering WES.

Will WES accept if I only post a copy of my GCE certificate and a Scratch card to them?
Trying to avoid the WAEC office wahala.

IQAS takes time. But considering how far you've waited, you could wait a little longer. Wes will take anything from 3 months from start to finish.
My opinion is to be a little patient.

You can't send your GCE/scratch card to WES by yourself, it must be sent by WAEC and must be sealed with your ref number attached to it. And it requires attestation also.

Hold on with IQAS biko.

You need it to process ECA for ICES. Very essential.

if you have National ID, it will suffice if you are using ICES. Don't know about WES though .

Good morning everyone, please someone can advice me on this matter, I heard that spouse not accompanying the wife or wife not accompanying the husband in most cases leads to rejection. The reason why my husband is not accompanying me is because he is not a graduate and if I include him, it will bring down my CRS. What should I do? Because I don't want to be rejected. you don't necessarily need it , you can use National ID , which is what I used for ICES. And I believe you can use Drivers License as well since its govt issued . Don't know about WES though.

This is absolutely not true. Go ahead and apply as long as you're sure to meet the required CRS scores.

These people follow a standard procedure. Spouse accompanying is simply your choice, but you will need proof of funds for both of you during your application.

The bolded is wrong. People apply with not accompanying spouses all the time and get PPR. You need to carefully fulfil all the requirements, for example, he needs to do medicals and you need show that you have enough funds to cover him despite the fact that he is not accompanying. Also, you'll have to explain convincingly why he isn't relocating with you.

You'll be fine.

That's a big lie, it doesn't lead to rejection. Also, if you max IELTS, have a masters degree/2 or more certificates and a sibling abroad then you will have enough points to include your husband in the application. You don't have to leave him behind.
