If LeBron played like Curry did, especially missing wide open layup and dunk late, I know a bunch of Curry-sexuals who would go all in for the Kill. Keep that same energy y'all...

Ofcourse Lebron will be held to a higher standard. That's a No Brainer. Lebron is a Top 3 player of all time whilst Steph is not even Top 15 yet.

Null and void.

He is averaging more points than Jamal Murray and Kyrie and scored more points than KD in games 1 and 2 against the clippers with far less usage than other PGs in this playoffs.

My brother, I have not missed a single second of this NBA post season and that includes Warriors games.

I would have taken up your debate but I can see you already have your Chef hat and lenses on, consequently, it would be impossible to help you see other wise.

You will still be wrong even if I did not have them on.

Curry outscored all GSW scorers in games 1 and 2 against the Clippers and prior to yesterday was averaging 24pts in the post season with faaaaaar less usage than any other PG in the playoffs.

His shooting was also 50/45+/90+ against the clippers. If you watched the last 3 of 4 games against the clippers, the only thing that derailed his game was foul trouble

Yesterday, 7-23 with 17points, is his worst game in this series and playoffs. Jokic, Murray, Lillard, Kyrie have all had worse games than that this very playoffs in both efficiency and statistics.

Lebron has had an 11point performance in a close out game 6. People should miss me with all the BS. I was here in 14/15 game 3 when people made noise here about Dellevadoa when Curry played badly then turned mute when he dropped 38points the very next game having also averaged 28 points from that game 3 down to the close out game 6.

As in ,I now see why many pundits don't even regard the guy as being among top 3 point guards in the NBA. If Westbrook ain't a championship calibre player, curry is worse.

Durant has carried this team through all the post-seasons since he joined. And yet, some still regard curry as the all time best Point guard.

SMH

LOL.

KD lost to Curry in the playoffs. KD did not win without Curry.

KD lost to Pelicans game 3 just last playoffs. Rockets are better than Pelicans.

Curry won a ring and got to another final before KD ever showed up. KD has won nothing without Curry and will not win anything without Curry. It is Curry that gets doubled, not KD.

KD has only carried GSW in game 3 2017 against Cavs, and game 3 2018. This is prior to the last 6 games of this playoffs 2019. If you have any arguments, bring his numbers in 2017 or 2018 and prove how we defeat even Rockets last year without Curry.

All these knee-jerk and arm-chair comments should swerve abeg.

Guys, I am not saying that Strph is worse than Westbrook.

But the truth is Steph would have just one ring if not for KD.

Lebron would have dominated Stephen in the last two finals; that is if they got there.

That's the truth.

Firstly, whenever you start comparing him with other players, I know you have your Chef hat/lenses glued on. This is about Steph Curry and this year's postseason, not about Lillard, Kyrie or Beverly for that matter.

Below were his numbers in the final 3/4 games in the Clippers series, so what are we talking about here? He only had an impact in games 1 and 2 of that series and at that point, the series was tied.

Game 3: 21
Game 4: 12
Game 5: 24
Game 6: 24

How about the Rockets series? he has pathetic to put kindly for his all-star status. You are claiming yesterday was his worst series, but he only bettered his worst playoff record by scoring one more point than he did in game 1 when he scored 18 points.

Rockets Series

Game 1: 18
Game 2: 20
Game 3: 17

I know you hate to see it and worse still more difficult to admit that the slim reaper is now the most important and best player in your team. I am no longer buying that argument that the Warriors can not win without Curry because KD has tossed that argument to the abyss this postseason.

You get the drift? Talks like these no hold water and it doesn't matter if you are a warriors fan. You can't win rings alone. You win it with teammates whether they are drafted or sign via FA. It doesn't matter. If KD likes, he can stay and win 5 more rings with Steph and Klay. They all worked for it.

As for Harrison Barnes. I love him as a person but please don't remind me of his last season with the Warriors. Only a mad man would sign take him instead of KD.

Baba, I love Curry just as much and the frustrating aspect of his struggles this postseason is the indifference and lack of effort I see and it is upsetting. It almost looks like he does not want to be on the court.

I brought up other players to ask why the outrage is not the same with them. Because Steph's low is their high. That is why.

You said he has been short one ALL playoffs long which is what I aimed to correct. He has not painted himself in glory in this Houston series but only yesterday was his WORST performance. He was solid against Clippers which I said by mentioning 3/4 games. He has ALL STAR numbers and was actually 50%/50%/94% against the Clippers so he was not being carried in anyway in that series.

That KD is outscoring him is nothing new. If one player gets doubled the others should have their scoring numbers improved so the team will win. You cannot possibly carry a player who is averaging 24ppg on a 68% TS efficiency. That just challenges the very fabric of logic.

The difference between the 18pts and 17pts games is beyond the 1pt differential. He did not miss wide open 3s in game 1. He did not miss defensive assignments in game 1. He did not miss easy layups in game 1. He did not miss a crucial dunk in game 1. The only problem with game 1 is FOUL TROUBLES.

KD is the best player on the team because Curry gets all the attention for KD to be efficient. It takes nothing away from his greatness.

If Warriors could win without Curry's gravity, KD would have proven that in OKC when he played against the same Curry. He did not. Need I remind you that we lost an away game to this same Rockets with KD playing and scoring 38pts last season game 2 when Curry had a bad game. But won all the games that Curry played well in. If Curry therefore, has no impact, KD's 46pts yesterday should have gotten us the win. But it did not because, as you can see, the player you said has no impact, did not play well.

I think that puts your argument to bed.

Yes, and do you remember how those boys played every night? I'm smiling remembering those times. When the team would be down 20 and all they need to do was just play their hearts out. Boys in here would quit the game and next thing you hear waking up is Warriors were up by 10 after the 3rd quarter. No hate, no attention and then the 3-1 happened. I doubt we would have moved on well from that if Barnes had stayed. And then KD with is lonely 3-1 asṣ walked into free agency. Boy!!! I'd have signed KD straight up too. Anyways, pushing that narrative that the warriors wouldn't have won without KD is just one kind. I think both parties compliment each other. If I were the Warriors, I'm paying KD, Klay and Draymond. This current NBA is different from when Dirk soft swept LeBron with some old men. You have to sign better players to win and the Warriors did that very early. The same people hating the warriors for having KD and 3 all stars would die to see KD and Klay with LeBron in the Lakers. grin grin Everybody needs everybody in today's NBA

True!!! His mind is just not on court. For a 2 time MVP to be playing like this in this series. Eruditor, you need to watch yesterday's game. The 17pt is misleading. I'm not judging him by one game but we all like our Stephen Curry sharp. He'll definitely come around and I can't wait.

Your deduction from the logic about Curry's "impact" is massively flawed. This is because I stated clearly that Curry had impacts in game 1/2 and after game 2 the series was tied and that means the Warriors lost game 1, yet Curry was deemed impactful in my books. Your interpretation of my logic to mean impact only matters with a win is dead on arrival. So there goes that buries that argument about impact and loss. For the records, I hope you are not comparing Curry's influence to KD's this postseason?

I do agree with most of your points. Let me say this. By his MVP standard, he has not performed better than KD this post season if everyone keeps looking at the score board however, he doesn't need to if we're winning. It's not a competition of who is better on this team which is where this argument might end up at. Our boy can definitely be sharper than this. You'd agree with me that has needs to be sharp. Klay, Draymond, Iggy are playing their hearts out there every night. He needs to be sharp. This is coming from someone who doesn't care if KD gets the finals MVP. Cos he definitely didn't do it alone. grin
