You can apply without IELTS, it's not a requirement. 2. Most schools don't require you to pay tuition upfront BUT working full time while schooling is impossible. Therefore, I'll advise you take your time to build your finances and other required parameters (please see the first page of this thread for more info.) before you begin an application for admission to universities (you'll need to pay application fees and tuition fees) and an application for a study visa. Good luck. fufuNegusi: |

Hello house, in my SOP, can I talk about the different times I tried to join the Nigeria military and paramilitary respectively as plans after studies and reasons to leave Canada after my graduate study. ps: I've documents such as acknowledgement cards applicants are asked to print out to back my claim up. Also, I've interest in Nig polictics in the nearest future strictly as a lawmaker. My course is a kind of course such that it can be fussed /incorporated into my two different ambitions which is military or politics and also it wil be very helpful to nation building.. Thank you. |

Bracha: Thanks so much for taking your time to type me your opinion. Please, does it mean that there is no difference between "Insufficient fund" and "personal asset and financial status" refusal reasons? The fund i got is an award, to be paid when i resume. Its not something i will do Assistantship for before i get. The current place of employment i stated in my application is NYSC and i explained its a compulsory volunteer service for graduates who intend to work in Nigeria after graduation. I have taken note of the irrelevant documents i need to remove. Your opinion is highly appreciated! God bless you. |

Kez911: thanks for the feedback... i was referred to Mount Allison University and Newbrunswick University but i really do not much about them except i heard they dont also require me to pay any upfront tuition payment. How much do i need to save up as starting amount to pay for tuition? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Schonebaby: 10:34am On May 06, 2019 |
When will you be finishing your NYSC? For God's sake, you shouldn't have put NYSC. Just ur ppa's name (Perharps a school or whatever) as ur employment place. I hope u know if you leave before finishing NYSC, you have to do some underground runs for someone to complete it on ur behalf. That compulsory NYSC info is absolutely not necessary. However, I totally doubt that it was the reason for your refusal. They have about five major reasons for denial :funds, purpose of visit, travel history, home tie (indicating ability to come back after validity expires) and study gap +career progression. employment Is not particularly a deal breaker. |

Bracha: i have the money to pay for any other expense and cost apart from the tuition... like how much do you think i need to save up for the tuition? Plus, i wanted using an agent but they charged me 400k plus other expenses i will still have to make i was adviced that its something i can do by myself rather than paying such huge amount to somebody i will be really grateful if you can help me achieve my dreams by giving me relevant infos on how to go about all the processes |

nalizzzy: I explained it came from joint account i have with my wife, and from my mother in-law as a support. Experience is I.T, and research skills through published paper. i am serving, i have not worked. But seriously experience for a fresh graduate going for MSc in order to have a specialized research role upon return? They are simply wicked! 2 Likes |

AgroNACT:The vo might not understand you having an account that’s financed by you, your wife and in-law to study abroad when the same course is available in your home country at extremely cheaper cost, bearing in mind that even the said amount wouldn’t be enough for your flight and cost of living. What will your wife live on? That might be the question the vo couldn't figure out and concluded that you are not a genuine student. PS.my opinion. |

I have a friend whose situation was quite similar to yours. She got full funding for an MSc and her passport was semi-virgin (lol) the only time she had ever traveled out was to the UK when she was very little (like 4 years old). She was rejected on the basis of purpose of visit, travel history, personal asset (something very similar to yours). The second time she applied, she used consultants (Maple Education). Some of the things that i know she did differently includes: 1. Deferred her admission as she was already short on time 2. Wrote a banging SOP - I can send you the template she used 3. Even though she had full funding, she still used a sponsor (her dad) whose SOA could cover her cost of education Like it has already been said, i would advise you to order your GCMS notes immediately as it'll give you more perspective to what the VO's line of thoughts are regarding your particular application. When you have done all your hard work, don't forget that "faith begins where facts and figures ends" - Omofar. I pray that what God has started (getting admission and full funding) would be perfected for you. With that said, i noticed we do not have your timeline information. do you mind sharing? Please can I get a sample of a bank reference letter or a guide. I have checked on google but not sure if the templates I have seen will be good enough for the Canadian VOs as I am not sure of the kind of details they expect to see. Thank you. |

Schonebaby: Thanks for your response. I will finish my NYSC by July 28, and my program begins in September. I explained this in my sop as well. |

hurricanesgrace:Thank you for your response sir. please can you suggest other ways to prove to the VO I'll will return as I don't have any property or assets in my name. I'm just 21 and recently completed my nysc last year December. Proving to the VO I'll return is the only problem I'm facing right now ps: I'm the only son of my parent. I've 3 female siblings tho! Thank you |

4evaco: If I got your question right...Do you mean the reference letter you get after printing out your bank account statement? If yes.......then you need not to worry about it, every bank has its template, yours is to indicate you need it for a visa application and also give them the appropriate visa office address for the letter. I hope this helps... 3 Likes |

Kez911: Good Afternoon, 5 days there about should be enough. Check your CIC account after that, the medicals section will be updated to "medicals passed". Not sure Q-Life will call you. Except for maybe something else.. I wasn't called after my examination about my results or when it it was submitted to CIC. Hope this helps..... |

Bertram87: Thank you for your reply. Not really, my sponsor's account manager who is also the branch manager wants to write a personalised bank reference for him to be used for my application, so I was asked to send a draft but I am not sure of the key information to include in it. By the way, is the bank reference letter that necessary? |
