Hello Family. I’ve been very inactive on the forum for almost a year now but kept the Canadian dream alive. Here’s my timeline (still awaiting PPR) ITA Oct 15, 2018 AOR Nov 17, 2018 Med passed/Biometrics request 18 Dec, 2018 Biometrics completed Dec 20, 2018 CIC has been silent since then and I’m a little uncomfortable. Tried to find out my visa office but learned I won’t get a response if I’m still within the 6mth timeline which ends May 17th. Anything I need to know? Thanks guys. 1 Like |

Algbenguze: you will get a response. It might be generic, but they will tell you your visa office if you ask. As for the silence, that is normal. 2 Likes |

Please i need advice...l am the primary applicant and my husband will be migrating with me. We have a child together(1 yr old),he also has a child outside wedlock(9 yrs ago) and the child has been staying with my mother in law. Our marriage is 3yrs old. Now my questions 1)Can we apply for him to go with us as a dependant? 2)How many dependants do I have if he is not going with us? 3)Will there be an issue if i claim him as a dependant as he has been staying with my mother inlaw? |

It is the same procedure, just that it may be a little faster than from a fresh start as you won't have to start from the department. Luceecarter: |

For number 2). Hello I’m no guru and I haven’t even gotten to that stage yet but from what I have been reading and understand from people who have claimed work experience with NYSC, they use their Primary place of assignment (PPA) salary not the general 19,800 allowie as it’s the PPA that gives the reference letter and not fedgovernment.. please elders in the house correct me if I’m wrong. Hello everyone. Please is anyone in my shoes? My wife's credentials has been acknowledged by WES since last week Thursday and last time it was updated was on 29/04/2019. See the screen shot. I have called, emailed them, sent dm via Twitter and yet, it's still reading the same message. If you are in this issue, what have you done please?
