Global c of o is a certificate of occupancy that covers large land be it fr private organization or individual. It covers a large span of land and if anyone has to buy from that land, d said person cannot be granted c of o again. Instead a governor's consent is seemed to back d existg c of o up that d person bought from a land with existing title

Just two weeks ago I paid my grand uncle a visit ,he reside in Ogun State songo ota to be precise,prior to my visit I told him I am interested in diving into real estate,he then told me to come to ota to invest cause where he stays you can get a plot of land for as low as 350 to 600k ,which I think I am good for,cause I willing to invest four million right now in the acquisition of some piece of Land and obtaining the C of O in that area right now and fence all the land round because of the fear of omo onile lol.

My first plan is to build like a four bedroom flat on one of the piece of land in the area,I just an advice from an expert before I move on.

I v nt been disturbed considering the fact dat I v settled the omo onile their sumtin wen I want to start foundation...

I won't go against estate land but I will advice u go for a land that doesn't have global c of o. I don't know about how Oyo State gvt generates their revenue but as for Ogun state if u buy a land with existing title like c of o its another huge expenses for you to get governors consent from the govt.
Why not go through estate agency to source for land for you n u tell them your budget or u go through real ppl to search for it. Remember we still have good ppl. To curb future expenses get a land with no existing title them after purchase get your land title documents done to secure ur land

If its ordinary acquisition, you can apply to pay Ratification on it but if it's committed (meaning that gov has plan on it)... There is nothing to be done than to stay off

If you are buying directly from the family, you only need the family receipt and the deed of assignment.

But if you are buying from a secondary seller (someone who already bought from the family), then you need a contact of sales otherwise known as change od ownership and a deed of assignment with the family
