I think you are missing the point here, this thread is here for people to share their experiences to help others AND when you make mistake openly others will correct you but this is not the case with private conversation, imagine what will happen if everybody contributing here goes private? This thread will die naturally.

Don't take whatever you read here as absolute truth, do your own research earch and ask questions

If you had said this initially, no one would have complained... We understand... Just communicate better when issues arise....

Glad you created this thread though...... smiley

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by TheAfrikan: 1:10pm On May 07, 2019
YES....

So, I was talking about the study permit with a friend who is a Permanent Resident.

I was told that the Province you apply to study also plays an important role in your study permit application.

Can this be varied by others so as to educate new study permit applicants on the way forward.

Thank you....... smiley

This should answer your question. However you need to ensure that your documents are presented in a uniform manner in order to avoid confusion. Also ensure that when you compress your files ensure that the quality isn't lost.

Application for study permit made outside of Canada (IMM1294) (required) - Complete, save and Upload the study permit form.

Passport (required) - Upload your international passport.

Letter of Acceptance (required ) - Upload your letter of acceptance from the school.

Proof of means of financial support - Upload your Sponsorship letter, Affidavit of support, bank statements, payslips, sponsor's source of income (like- employment letters, introduction letters from employer, promotions letter etc.) or bussines documents (CAC certificates, tax clearance certificate, article of association and memorandum etc..) Also, include your already paid tuition receipt in this section (if any).

Digital Photo (required) - Upload your Passport Photograph. The passport size should be between 60KB to 240KB and the dimension should be 420X540.

Family Information (IMM5645) (required) - Complete, save and Upload the family form.

Schedule 1- Application for a temporary Resident Visa made outside Canada (IMM5257) (required) - Complete and Upload the form.

Client Information (required) - Upload your SOP/LOE, degree certificates, transcripts, birth certificates, recommendation letters from past and present employers, NYSC discharge papers, your work ID, your employment letters, resume etc... (every supporting documents should be uploaded in this section).
I hope you find the above information useful.

In my application, I didn't tell the vo my dad works for Microsoft so that's why the millions in his account appeared from...this visa application to me needs to be simple and logical...if u have enough to take care of your expenses, pls do well to submit your SOA...if it's going to be verified...no wahala...don't start telling the vo your dad earns more than him or her...

Hello 042Viber12,

Been a while!

The fact you didn't show it and eventually worked for you doesn't make the fact that it isn't important. The source of funds for both a self employed and an employee is quite different. A source of funds evidence could be:

1. An employment letter and other relative evidence supports an employee work histories, means of livelihood etc

2. CAC certificates and other relative evidence supports a self employed working histories, means of livelihood etc

A source of funds can be any financial document that is recognized within the law that can help the VO ascertain the true extent of a presented funds. It doesn't have to be too many documents but only submitting a sufficient bank statement as proof of funds without any source of funds to support it might as well be very risky and based on high luck. There is nothing logical with such move.

I believe you've seen quite a lot of gcms notes were the VOs mostly raised concerns for an applicant's/sponsor's source of funds and personal establishment? that isn't coincidence.

BTW can you just highlight only the documents submitted for your sponsor?

Good to have you back.

Yes, it's a valid point. In each province the population is higher than most so IRCC (via the VOs) is also very cautious about this when issuing out visas.

There is always a limit to visa issuance by the VOs each year.

Well said brother.

But the main reason why @justwise frowns at PM
Is so that other people can learn from what ever advice would be given to you, there by making the thread to grow.

Just imagine if all the information that is here were sent by PM.

The aim of this thread would have been completely defeated.

No it won't they will update it. You are close. Mine was like 2 weeks after medical update. Yours can be shorter than that since u're resuming earlier.
One more thing, you can call the hospital to confirm it has been sent. Is it IOM Lagos? I have the guy's number but I can't drop it on a public forum, and with the restrictions on communication here....
U can send to their mail or call the general line and pray they pick. But I'm sure they would have sent your results anyway.

Yes, really.

It's not their business how you made the money - If they want to know, they can check your statement of account. Their business is to ascertain your eligibility to be and study in Canada, considering different factors. As for the financial factor, all they care to know is if the money in the account you submitted can cater for your studies and if it'd be available to you when needed

My opinion tho.
