Nigerian filmmaker, Ayo Shonaiya who reacted to the arrest of Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile, stated that the EFCC just made them legends. According to filmmaker, when he saw photos of the “arrest” of Naira Marley, Zlatan Ibile and other persons, he had mixed emotions.

Ayo Shonaiya who revealed that the EFCC just made Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile legends, said that just like world famous celebrities who have at some point in their lives (often during their youth) run afoul of the Law, their mugshots become famous even to the point of people printing it on T-shirts.

What Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile don't realize is that with all their self-implicating statements in the cyberspace, their infamous parade picture on official EFCC verified social media accounts and their crime file in EFCC office, the noose is tightening around their necks. Time will come when it may be difficult for them to get visa from embassies for gigs, if their detractors decide to send in a well-documented petition.
