This is so tricky and im not sure i can give good counsel as i have not seen or heard of any of such experience. But if i remember correctly, one of the things that was stated in my CAQ was "Your certificate remains valid for obtaining your study permit in the event that your admission is postponed from the fall session to the following winter session. However, if you postpone your admission from the winter session to a later session or the following year, you will need to obtain a new certificate, regardless of the expiry date of your current certificate. Once you have obtained your study permit, your certificate will remain valid even if you change your educational institution or program of study, provided it is a program of the same duration, level or same cycle in a designated educational institution. For any other changes, you will need to obtain a new certificate".

Hence, you may need to get a new CAQ, depending on when your new admission date was postponed to.

To be honest, i am not the best person to give this kinda advise as i am not well informed regarding this. You could ask this question on quora or canada visa... Or better still, you could send your inquiry and/or call/mail Immigration Qubec or IRCC.

My first application

The intellectual work started from the day I got my first Gcms notes

I ordered 3 Gcms notes.

The VO edit tire looking for every loophole to bring me down in my Gcms.
My problem started with my sponsorship letter cause my dad made it straightforward. I didn’t know he has to state the amount he’s committing to my education.
They even wanted to use work permit against me thinking I deliberately chose the course cause of the work requirement.

My dad fixed deposit put me in a big mess... dem no recognize that thing at all.
I had to send my own account statement after my third Gcms note before I tackled first and second Gcms notes.

They also wanted to use travel history against me.

Last week I contacted about 150 MPs in Canada (I told myself even if nah one person answer me)
About 15 responded back (with stories that you’re not a constituent in the riding blah blah blah) the MP is my school riding just do like person wey go help me, I fill a form and all, then after everything she withdraws from it with stories.
Only 1 was helpful. He looked at my file and told me wassup. He told me what the VO wrote on my file with a biro. I don’t know how he did it though it took him two days to respond back to me. Nah there he stops to respond to me cause he said he can’t go deep on my file for privacy reasons. And he wishes me good luck. Such a nice man.
Ahmed Hussein used one of the MP to get back to me. (Is response wasn’t helpful at all)
Because the MP promised me that he going to talk to Ahmed Hussein on my behalf during their meeting... surprisingly this Ahmed Hussein tell the man he’s aware of my case that he got my message so so so date and time (they don’t joke with records) I can’t even remember the day I sent it to him but he was so accurate.
He told his colleague (MP) stories to tell me. (normal immigration stories).
The thing tire me.
Then the MP wished me good luck.

Earlier this year I contacted an immigration lawyer in Canada (he said he can’t do anything until they refused my visa).
They stored my names and all for records reason

They did a foss check on my brother in Winnipeg
I would advise you guys not to mention your sibling or family member in Canada cause it can be used against you or slow your application

That's all I can say now. ( I did a lot of research in this Canada study visa) if I show you my PC and phone tabs, you will shake your head.

Another tip, if your sponsor has too many dependants, please reduce it in your affidavits of supports.
And be careful while listing all your siblings in your imm form in case you omitted their names in dependants (affidavits if means of support) especially if they are still under your parent.

Please guys i have a question to ask. When your delay is because of academic progression issues, is it advisable to apply for a new program related to your first degree program or just try to explain why you have decided to change career even though you have no work experience. Secondly I'm thinking if you change the program to one more aligned with your first degree, won't a VO be wondering why the change of program within months and feel you do not have genuine intentions for study?

Which course did you applied for and when did you applied? because I know someone who got admission offer since February in pub admin at the same school but was not asked to pay $500cad nonrefundable deposit

Imagine losing a whole 4 or 5 years of someone's work/life, with no one to hold accountable. This country is something else.

Eg if you graduated from Franch in 2002
Which means you mat. No./ reg. No 98.......

They would just go to the booklet containing all 2003 sets records

This is unconditional offer letter which means you already sent your official transcript to them. However, someone that got offer for Master's in public admin was not asked to pay the $500 deposit, which was why asked about the course you applied for, perhaps it could be a departmental/faculty thing.

The same way, BUT there's a part in one of the sections where you're asked if you have to work while schooling, you'll need to tick 'Yes' there. Don't worry, when you go through the form, you'll see what I'm talking about. You may also need to give evidence when you tick 'yes'; an example of such an evidence would be a letter from the school stating that your course has a co-op option.

I have been accepted into humber for a one year certificate course.

My problem now is my proof of funds, I am currently employed but dont have the tuition 10k + 10k(survival funds) =20k saved up and I was thinking about a personal loan, I cant get educational because I'm not doing a degree)

I have two options:

1.Apply for the loan myself at the bank and have my brother cosign.(he will pay the monthly installments for me), maybe he can write a letter for immigration stating that he shall pay the installments until i return from my studies)

2. have my brother take the loan and then transfer + gift deed it to me.

my brother has less than 10k in his savings and like me doesnt have assets so the loan is my only option.

Some schools or department/faculty may not request for that, as such the applicant don't need to pay or include deposit receipt in their TRV application. If the nonrefundable deposit is stated on your offer letter which you meant to include in your visa application documents, the VO might be expecting to see a receipt from the school for that payment. However, if you want to take the risk of submitting visa application without making the compulsory nonrefundable deposit to the school is up to you to decide.

I understand your fear of losing $500cad if you fail to secure TRV, but university of Regina admission offer usually last for one year and so is the validity of the nonrefundable deposit, so even if you didn't get ur TRV at the first attempt (God forbid), u can always reapply again and again within the one year admission offer period until u succeed, all u need to do is to defer the admission base on visa delay.

Which is advisable 1 year PGD or 2 year PGD
