All that is happening is typical of the stock market all over the world.
It is the market manifesting a mind of its own that we all should be used to.
Nothing new.
If you are a jijoist, hold break.
If you are a long term investor, food don done.

You're waiting for N21 on Dangote flour? Better sell what you have at current prices and even take profit on that one and run as well. By the time all the adjustments are done, you may not see up to N17.00.

Why wait to take say N17.00 in a few months time when you can take it know.

As for me and my house, We've jumped ship into CASH which is KING in this time.

Offloading is what I've been doing since morning.

i would even advise long termers to hold still or at best test waters with a foot (and not even leg) one after d other cos Technically the fall from this 28k level is quite steep (arnd 25-26). This kind of fall wld require the heavies (Dangcem/ Nestle/ FUGAZ e.t.c) to still shed substantially (10-15%) from current level to attain that (25-26k) though if 28k hold we might see substantial climb also.

N.B i am a novice on the technicals above is just my interpretation of what i am seeing on the chart

For me, I cant panic sell at loss. Even if I want to sell, it will be at minimal loss. Those selling might not all be selling at loss afterall.
Goodluck to those jumping out.
Averaging down opportunity don show in UBA ...for those interested.

I jumped ship into CASH. I'll remain on the sidelines in CASH until the storm is over.

I'm not about to loose my money to a conversation in CBN about how to cover loopholes.

There is no linkages between this market and CBN news but pple cld choose to belive what they want to believe

The NSE had detach away from so many of its traditional anchor (oil price / budget release/ company result e.t.c) the only thing it respond to nowadays is news at it impact individual stock (a l dangflour/transcorp e.t.c). That is what makes the whole thing scary. i dont think things wld get better until it attach back to an anchor (probably volume on the I&E window)

More people should sell below 6.

People should position for year end. 85 Kobo / less than N6 gives a good DY

Thank you sellers. Sell more tomorrow @ N5.4 grin

This one bear is raining like rainfall in the market since last week most especially today, is like mtn will be listing tomorrow. Am sensing a lot bailing out including CEOs of many companies, getting ready to grab mtn share. And this they do by offloading with style. GTB, ZENITH, AFRIPRUDENT, UCAP, UBA, ACCESS, Nestle, etc. My mind keep telling me that they were all getting cash ready to take their position in the mtn share. If that is true, once mtn listed tomorrow, bear will stop, but if their listing reaches Friday bear will continue till Friday.
I see no bad news that brought about the current bear, if not since mtn news show up, and they are likely to be listed this week. Irrespective of any good or bad view we have toward their listing, they are big time firm second to Dangote Cement if listed in the market at price between #80 - #90 going by report.
http://naija247news.com/2019/05/11/mtn-nigeria-may-trade-shares-at-n90-per-unit-on-nse-with-market-caps-of-n1-832-trillion/

Added a little more FCMB to the bag today @ N1.70 and UBA @ N5.85 and N5.90 respectively.
Thank u Mr Market for presenting me with such a wonderful all-touching 'gift' !!
Would really appreciate it if u could gift me with more. ...particularly GTB and ZENITH @ my next target prices.

Beautiful moments like these seldom happens. I can't forgive myself, if I fail to align accordingly.

Cheers.

They are good and wonderful entrance, but come to think of it, what if it's the CEOs that are giving it out to pursue another business in NSE, because the rate of offloading can't come from only the members here, or ordinary member. And it's similar to all the big companies like Nestle, Seplat, GTB, Zenith, etc.

Will it be bad to pursue the same business opportunity they are waiting to grab?

I need no prophet to tell me that FCMB and Fidelity will come down at their current price, even go down more, when I witness the price of Nestle @1,300+, Seplat #500, GTB #30+, Zenith #19+, and the end of the fall seen not insight. They are all at the same mission. One will keep on exchange vehicle once a particular stock present better opportunity one can easily jump out and jump into stock with better offer.
