SetZ: It looks sweet and interesting when you see pple take their wife along but it definitely comes with a very high cost. If you want to apply with your wife, her application will depend on yours or vice verse depending on who the primary applicant is. Secondly, both of you will submit passport(paper route), biometrics, and medical depending on what the dependant apply for. If primary is studies, then medical is needed. If primary is work, medical needed if primary is visit, no medical. As it is above for primary, so is the same for accompanying dependant. Or as the case maybe. Like I said earlier on, it’s so sweet to have your spouse follow you as the accompanying dependant but my dear, the application build up is tasking. Your choice but it’s achievable anyway. All the best! 1 Like |

Just from my observation. Is it safe to conclude that if you don’t get a refusal mail same day or next day after receiving a biometric validly correspondence mail, your chances of medical request being next is high ? For those of you that got biometrics validity correspondence mail before medical request, kindly let us know the duration between the two mails. Thanks. 1 Like |

SetZ: Strong home tie, not you having job o but you must own the business. Strong SOA, in the region of 20M if you haven’t paid for your tuition. Which will cover living expenses for both of you and your full tuition. You can have a family co sponsor like you dad or MUM which is optional but then can still stand as home tie for you particularly if you are part of a family business which you probably could be a stake or shareholder. There must be academic progression and what you are coming to acquire in Canada must be useful for the company and your country. I believe the above is the basic thing but then remember that all other things will be checked by the VO. Things like the marriage certificate, the depandants of both party in any and other things. The final thing is just the grace of God cos at times some pple won’t do up to that and they are given. But on the human perspective, what I gave you above is necessary. 1 Like |

True ! I have been on call making inquiry for flight Delta airline for Miami 16-19th to Lagos and return date of 31st to Toronto. The Lowest I could go was 1600 USD. It went as high as 2000 USD. I think I will go with Austacus suggestion. We just spoke with the MP, that has been helping following up. And he just told me to send him some detail so he can talk the CIC office. He asked if i had updated my contact detail via the webform initially. I told him , yes ! When I left Nigeria, I actually sent a mail via webform that I am now in Miami. Not sure why they didn't take this into consideration. guzenaira: |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Naijaforeigner: 9:31pm On May 13, 2019 |
Omonoba1981: You don't need to travel except you have other things to do in Nigeria. You can submit at the VFS office in Miami. In most cases, you can submit Canada study permit passport request to the nearest VFS office where you reside any where in the world. I applied for my study permit in UK, got my passport request in UK, packed my bags and submitted passport request in Lagos, Nigeria. |

Omonoba1981: In naija you will get it before 15 working days If you ginger theM you will get it earlier than 15 business days. I got mine in 3 days though my poe correspondence letter came a day after I submitted my passport. PS: to be on a safer side your return ticket should be after the 15 working days |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Austacus: 10:58pm On May 13, 2019 |
wealthmiq:Nope. Your dad (boss) should also tell them your role in the company and your credibilities and how the company have experienced immerse growth cause of you hence they should allow you to study in Canada cause you're coming back to take over the company (I can't remember how he put it in the letter) I can't play around in my PC looking for my documents. Ps: He should be authoritative and official in the letter (boss thing) |

Hello gurus in the house I applied for a study permit this year while I was in Canada but it was denied. I defferd my admission and reapply when I returned to Nigeria and it was approved some days ago. Consequently, I have sent my passport to cic for stamping However due to some reasons, I won't be able to resume in summer and the University policy stated that student can only defer admission once I was told to apply for new admission. My question is that if I get new admission, will it affect my Visa already approved Visa |
