You are suppose to write them ooo. You should have gotten case complete and interview date. Tell your petitioner to contact NVc or u write them yourself.

Mine took a bit over 2years, my hubby filed November 2016 and i was called for interview feb 6 2019 amd yes he is a permanent resident

Hello I want to believe you completed yours via the online portal, all communication is going to be through that portal and email, if they require some more information they would update the portal and your email as well. I know this because my brother(F4) is currently in the same situation and it was different from mine (F1). He uploaded all the document requested and when they needed more information or one document was not clear they made a request for more information through the same portal, that would stand/replace the checklist they usually send to those in the other process.

It does not hurt to call, but I believe they would tell you everything you need is on that portal, my brother is currently waiting for interview letter from them because his priority (Jan 2006) is current at the moment, I tracked his case on ceac website and it says still at NVC. There must be some kind of delay at the Nigerian Embassy because they update NVC when they have available slot for interview date.

I have sent an email to NVC concerning the issue and awaiting their response.

My spouse filed for me since 2018 its been approved and we at the stage of filling the ds 260 form,I am the principal applicant ,I want to ask the house if it's OK for me to go get my police clearance certificate before filling the form.

Yes it’s advisable to do that...
you can get most of the supporting documents even before U finish filling the Ds260 form... so once u are done and you are confirmed to send ur supporting documents u just send them straight.... no wasting of time

Your date is not current. F2B is not in June 2013 , it is in May in the current June US bulletin

Dates for Filing is date your PD must be before then NVC contacts you to start preparing documents for your interview
Final Action is the date your PD must be before then the consulate where you are starts processes to schedule your interview

That bill can not pass in the Republican controlled senate moreorless the House of Rep of the democrats. It is just stunt. But down the line, F4 and DV lottery will be axed.

My husband and I just got our NVC paper work approved for CR1 May 3rd and still haven't gotten an interview appointment date yet. My affidavit of support is co sponsor by my wife and her son ,when I logged into my account to upload my affidavit of support ,I saw add joint sponsor and add household member. I am confused with which one to upload the affidavit of support .my question is .... do I need to upload the affidavit of support which is co- sponsor by my wife and her son on both ADD JOINT SPONSOR and ADD HOUSEHOLD MEMBER?

Don’t know what is going on these days. It used to be that if ur case is current, once u get your case complete from NVC they schedule an interview within about 4weeks if getting the case complete.
I’m in F2a category(spouse of permanent resident) Priority date Jan 2017 and got my case complete email since Feb 25 2019 but my case is still at NVC 15 weeks later.
Have called NVC severally and they just keep telling us to wait. Meanwhile other countries with same category and priority date as me have since joined their spouses and children over there. Why is this peculiar to Nigeria

If the wait is killing you people like this, when there is no wait time for Spouses of U.S citizens, what do you guys want ppl that waited 7.5years or 14years to join their loved ones do? . Just hang in there, or email NVC to ask for an update on ur case. Remember to put in your petitioners name, beneficiary name, date of birth, your case number and category.

Ohk congratulations, you have been approved.
Then he gave me 3 white papers that contained instructions on how to pick up my passport, pay immigrant fees and rights as a spouse of a us citizen.
Then he said I wish you Good luck in the United States of America!!!!
It was a really smooth process, my appointment was for 6:30, I arrived 5:30, got through security and got into the building by 7:05am. Was only asked for original copy of police report, IP and PP. I was out of the building by 8:30am.
Thank God we made it!!!
