Hello guys, I want to study in Canada, how possible is it to get student visa @30 years, if yes what schools can I apply for, like community colleges or uni in Canada.
I’ll be sponsoring myself financially, I’m capable of doing that.
I abandoned university for business and feel like I need to get a degree right now.

Anyone in the know and can advice me on what to do, I’ll appreciate. Thanks

You dont need it at all!

sashaa:

Thanks alot. The thing was giving me headache. I'm not in Lagos or Abuja and they were asking for 40k for it down here.

Sally, I guess I can proceed without it then?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Bracha: 3:34pm On May 15, 2019
Hopefully not, but it is possible for an application to develop “complications” even after passport has been requested.

Anyhow, I think leaving it on eligibility review is how it's done until they issue a counterfoil then it changes to approved and then closed, I think. If it's all the same to you, send them the email reminding them of your resumption if it's close at hand.

Hopefully they respond quickly and it all ends well.

Thanks dear, I hope they don't delay any further... This one that my portal is still showing that I am still under eligibility and background checks, is it possible for them to reject my application at this stage? lol

Congratulations!!!
This was what i did... I went to the hospital to see the doctor who attended to me and doctor told me that he sent IRCC a message to link my upfront medical ID to my medical request ID. Also, I sent a web form with my e-medical slip attached and I also sent emails to Lagos, London, and Kenya.
MsJu:
Hello Sally, I just got a medical request now after I did upfront. Can you kindly guide me on how to go about it.. Thanks a bunch

Thanks for your response. I have contacted the hospital, they said it's been submitted and there is nothing else they can do. I tried sending Web form but I don't know the visa office handling the application. Can you help me with the email address used or can I just respond to the email they sent me?

Omo I booked my flight today but I'm panicking. I just hope it comes out in time if not, flight money don go...

Congrats on your approval. I'm new here (been a guest for a few weeks, but joined today).

My brother had a case with the collection of his visa last year. He had booked his flight beforehand, and had to reschedule (paying extra), as he hadn't received the mail for collection. It was taking longer than expected, until he couldn't bear it any longer, and went to Anifowoshe on a Friday( he was to travel on Sunday - 2 days after) with his letter. I think the security guys there or so told me to be calm, since a favourable decision had already been made, and that he should go to VFS and wait. They later brought it that afternoon. He had little time to prepare though, but was excited all the same.

Good day all
I will like to enquire about the progress I saw on my applocation timeline
I just got a correspondence letter from cic as regards my biometric enrollments and am scared as I believe i will get a response from them very soon
I will like to know how soon I might get a response
And based on my timeline
I did online application March 07
Got correspondence letter may15
Could there be a chance that it will be q positive response
I need your prayers as am scared
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Okoriekwe(m): 4:57pm On May 15, 2019
All you need to do is to go with is your passport data page and a passport photograph. On the fees, I've read people pay between 5k to 7.5k. However, I did mine for 3.5k depending on who you meet. Go straight to the forensic section of the CID HQ to get it done.

Economics and hospitality management does not proof a career progression.
Why did you chose the later course instead of economics? We’re you able to explain the reason(s) for that in your sop? Why not economics?

Online or paper route? You can get a biometric validity later anytime as it is just to notify you that you have done your biometrics and it is valid for 10years or so. Though boimetrics validation letter before medical request might not be good sign from the applications that I have seen,(my opinion)but I will advice you to be positive and prayerful. I wish you all the best.

welcome
First, get a pen and book for jotting
then go to www.cic.gc.ca navigate to study
there you will see links to all schools in Canada and make your choice after which you apply to the school.
also there you would find other information regarding how to apply for visa etc.

Also, go through this thread from PT 14
when you have done that come back to ask questions on things you are not clear about.
