Do I need Wes evaluation for all applications? If no what are my chances without the evaluation? If yes, is it possible to do the evaluation for my BSc alone as my masters degree results is not ready.
Johnolukolade:

IKR! 3.47/5.0 will hit a 3.2 ONLY if you use WES.

P. S. Start the WES application immediately if you're considering Fall 20, those guys can take a long period to finalize your process.

We move man

Do you have any issue?

Not really. Had my admission deferred from Spring 2019 to Fall 2019. Still awaiting issuance of mine or for the process to commence.

No, some schools don't have transcripts evaluation as a requirement. If you want to spread your wings to get more chances, and you have the $, you can take the pain of evaluating your credentials.

If a school request for evaluation, you can't evaluate your bachelor's transcripts alone... By default, you're an international student and you must evaluate ALL credentials. You have to wait for your masters results to be available in this case.

Talking about your chances, you should be fine provided you have a good standing academically. I legit can't discuss your chances bro.

Too September? Don’t think this is true ooo
Tooyib:
Hello everyone, pls I have a question
I got my I-20 form earlier today, and I heard there’s no interview date till September.
Should I delay till June before applying for visa so I can do emergency interview or pick a later date now and change it to emergency when I am within the 60days window?

Good Day everyone! I need someone to reply me on this. I already asked in other threads I feel it's related to my topic but I'm yet to get a response that's why I'm bringing it here.

There's this American woman (First Class citizen) I've known for years now. It never occurred to me to discuss traveling with her since I was still in school all those years and doing well plus things was still better off in Nig a little.
fast-forward to now that I'm done with nysc plus finding job been difficult, the current situation of the country and so on. I then informed of my plans to come over to the US to work since I don't have enough funds to go via student route.
She suggested she is going to get me a nanny job (ps I'm a guy) reason been that that's the best way to get me in. she said she's going to convince a rich American Family to sponsor me on work visa etc.
After she told me all this I came online to verify but I didn't see any thing of such kind of visa (nanny work visa) so I need you all to help me shed light to this. Thank you all

I don't think a nanny job falls under the category of "skilled" jobs that will warrant a work visa plus Mr Trump's hire Americans policy is even making life difficult for the people in the skilled workers category.

There might be loopholes in the system which only an immigration lawyer will know how to exploit. If your friend is willing to convince a rich American family to sponsor you, let her also be willing to contact an immigration lawyer for better advice. It will save all parties unnecessary headaches

Most of us here don't know jack about most immigration laws. Na only F1 and H1B we know shikili about

I know. What you said is not the reality though about NIU. I20 processing may take up to 21days but that's not the actual time it takes most times. I have processed i20 for my friend there and it took just 10days.

There are several types of visas to get you into the US. I will advise that you ask the woman about the specific name of that visa so that you can confirm from online resources.

Make sure you are very careful because trafficking is real!

Goodevening nairalanders, Pls i want gurus in the house to assist me on this profile. I have a GRE of 288, toefl 73. I applied to 4 schools, so far have got 2 admissions. One, Universitty of New Haven gave me regular admission with 30% dean's scholarship amounting to $5k while the tuition fees is $17k excluding living expenses + medical amounting to $14k. University of South Alabama gave me provisional admission with no funding stating i might get once i finish a fall term with them, the tuition fees for Alabama is $11k while that of living expenses + medical = $12k. University of louisiana rejected my application while University of Houston at Clear lake demands i send them my transcript and degree cert directly from my school which i haven't obliged them even though my ECE evalaution i did with cgpa of 3.20 was submitted to Clearlake. Presently, i have booked an appointment date in mid june with Alabama Uni. Pls what can you advice i do knowing that alabama admission was on provisional cadre? Pls, kindly help me as i don't know if this decision of mine to go with Alabama is the best for now. I studied Electrical Electronics in my under grad, same course as my master but want to major in Nuclear Energy as my research thesis.

Also, i want to use my young bro domiciliary account he opened here in Nigeria in February which he deposited $4k into it, he plays football in China and within a month the statement is over $51k which I used in receiving my I-20 in March. Now, he has promised to instruct Gt bank to forward the statement of account to Abuja Embassy on my behalf and get a recent print out which i believe the amount would have increased. My concern now is the domiciliary account is just full of deposits as no withdrawal as been made on it so far, considering the account was opened on February 6, 2019. Pls what's your opinion on this too?

lagosismyHome, texrem, fairheart, bracelum, Time2win. Pls, i need your input.

There no requirement that a bank statement has to have withdrawals. You can have an account separately to save for a big project ie school fees. As long as the account is valid that all

Go with New Haven. The extra $$ in tuition covers the risks with your provisional admit.

Your provisional admit tells the VO that you are not a very good student and if the VO tries to confirm your test scores, it confirms their fears.

However, your New Haven offer and the scholarship shows you as a good student and it boosts your profile.

I don't think your bro needs to forward the bank statement. All you have to do is to get a printout and take it to the embassy. If the VO asks the reason for the huge cash lodgement, explain just as you have explained here. That your bro is your sponsor and he recently moved to China. Your reason should be legit.

Friends in the house...

Please i need an urgent response.

My uncle who owns a company promised to give me his company's statement of account anytime am ready to go to the embassy. Prior to this time he gave me the statement of account to submit to the school for my form I 20, as at that date of issuance (5th march) there was 26M in the account.

The school immediately prepared my form I 20 and delivered it to me with my Uncle's name who is the Ceo of the company written as the my primary sponsor.
I was happy and started preparing for my interview that is to hold on Monday 20th May.

I received my greatest shock when I got to the company to pick up the statement of account and a letter from the bank signifying that my uncle is the sole signatory to the account, I was issued a statement of account that has a closing balance of just 11 USD which is equivalent to about 4M. The accountant told me that the other company's account given to me initially doesnt have anything inside it at the moment stressing that the new one he is giving me now is the only account they have something in it. This amount is far below what my school requires (32 USD which is equivalent to about 12M)

Before this time an aunt of mine has promised to also give me her personal statement of account to go to the embassy which she made available today against my appointment on Monday. The account has about 13M plus as the closing balance which is higher that what the school requires.

But am confused on what to do. The primary sponsor on my form I 20 is my uncle whose company's account isn't buoyant enough at the moment, while that of my aunts personal account has excess of what is required.

I need to be advised, am even considering to use the company's bank statement issued to me around March which has a closing balance of about 26M as at then.

Friends what do I do since I can't change my sponsor at this point in time both in my form I 20 and form D160?
Please in needed responses

Thank you all
