Good afternoon house. I have spent the last few days reading through the thread and I have a few questions... 1) I got admitted into two schools but settled for the university of Saskatchewan. Because of my previous two denials for the US F1 visa, I decided to use a representative but now, I feel like it may be a mistake. 2). I’m on a scholarship from an international company that gives scholarships to indigenes of the NDDC. I however printed my statement of account and my wife’s as supporting funds. Does my wife need to write a letter of support? 3) Can someone pleaseeeeee help me review my SOP. Thanks everyone. Enjoy the rest of your day! |

To every prospective applicant try listing out what you intend to submit so you can get help and advise before submitting. That way you get a final verification before submitting your documents. It's not possible to get a 100% verification about the success of your application but at least little mistakes and loopholes can be rectified. 1 Like |

There are lots of points on the basis of which the Canadian Embassy decides whether to grant visas or not. Where some major or key points are; Your Academics Should be fulfilled the Basic requirement of the country, college and course admission you have applied for. You should have enough marks in your last academics with relevant subjects. IELTS is also an important factor in visa approval and rejection. So you have to fulfill the IELTS requirements as per the program you are going to apply. In Canada, approximately 1 to 1.5 year gap is acceptable after your last qualification. Apart from it, if you have gap more than the given time relaxation you need to provide a genuine gap activity of that period. Without any activity if you have gaps, you can face visa rejection. You should have sufficient amount to pay your Fee and for Your living in Canada During your period of Study there. Your intention to go there to study should be clear, not to settle there. 2 Likes |

Phatkings: Information Business analysis or Business analysis is a good program, also check for logistics and supply chain management. These courses come as 1 year (PGC) or 2 years PGD (some even include opportunity to work full time and get paid really well). I know Fanshawe college has both programs for PGC and PGD. I think Seneca and Connestoga as well. Downside of any college in Ontario is that they are expensive. I strongly recommend 2 years Business logistics and supply chain management (with a Co-op option). (1) The program has lots of job opportunities, at least I know of Ontario for sure. (2) You get paid for related work experience up to 8 months. (3) You work full time (UP TO 40 hours a week) during the paid work and you get paid well. (4) Minimum wage in Ontario is about 14CAD but Co-op students can get paid between 20CAD - 25CAD. Above all, having 8 months Canadian experience on your CV alongside Canadian education is superb. When you arrive Canada, you will realise that getting Canadian work experience and a college degree could be more important than getting Masters degree for some jobs. 2 Likes |
