Mindfulness:What perplexes me is how they are so quick to legislate on abortion but don't transmit that same energy to gun control and issues that are leading to actual deaths of actual people. The only people who would suffer are the ones who can't afford safe abortion. These same politicians would fly their sidepiece to other states to abort btw Also why are men who are neither healthcare experts or owners of wombs having such a say on matters that affect the lives and health of women. I know it sounds idealist and naïve but I don't think white conservative males should be deciding on the health choices of women 2 Likes |

A40: Why does it perplex you? The gun industry has a very strong lobby. It's all about the money, it's not about ethics. And it has never been about lives. The moment a child is born, Republicans could not care less. No maternity leave. Diminished health care. Underfunded schools. And as you have already mentioned, gun laws that make school shootings rampant. Pro life in a country that still has the death penalty. The utter hypocrisy! 2 Likes |

QueenSekxy:Lmaooooo this is why people don't take you clowns seriously. You lot are chameleons faking like you're pro-life till these fetuses are actually born. So an 11 year old who was r@ped should be forced to carry a fetus that will put her life at risk for what? 1 Like |

Mindfulness:It's hypocrisy in plain sight. It's their inherent wickedness that makes them prioritize an embryo ahead of the actual human whose life is potentially at risk carrying these pregnancies. Of course they have not finished showing concern for their neighbors whose children are being shot up in schools and by the police. Or the sick kids of illegal immigrants at border posts. Or their pro-life stance does not include illegals? Their biggest concern is the reproductive health choices of bodies that don't even belong to them |

Mindfulness:Lool hence why I'm so perplexed. I've listened to the arguments of these so-called pro-lifers and they keep regurgitating the same old megedefegede. Thumping the Bible they obviously do not read. The amusing part for me is that the poorest states are the ones championing this law and you begin to wonder if these people are actually thinking at all. Their sole aim is to police women's bodies (especially the poor and disadvantaged ones) 3 Likes |

A40: First of all, they should leave their religious beliefs out of it. Secondly, poverty and ignorance go hand in hand. Republicans love the uneducated. They are easy to exploit. |

A40: I did a road trip in trumpland few months ago, it's all gas stations, strip clubs, pay day lenders and liquor stores. Rinse and repeat through out that place. They wear misery in their faces like badges, yet these same people will vote in people whose sole concern is lobbyists money in Washington. 3 Likes |

zendi:my point is technical, a baby already born can't be aborted! Simple, you can kill it terminate an already born baby but the term abort is for unborn children exclusively! So when you try to make a point, ere on the side of facts please |

QueenSekxy:Stop playing dumb. Their mothers made a choice to have and keep a baby. The keyword is choice. If she choose not to have a baby, no one else should force her to have one. A baby should not be used as a tool for punishing women for religious or moral sin (as believed by others). You might as well make laws stoning adulterous women to death. 1 Like |

Temple1288:History had shown that criminalising abortion had never stopped abortion anywhere in the world. It will simply go underground. You cannot force a woman to have a baby she does not want, and you cannot stop a woman from having sex with whomever she desires. Anti abortion or prolife was always about men controlling a woman's sexuality. They use mainly the religious and moral arguments (which in any case never applies to the man). In the past they used Female Genital mutilation in an attempt to stop women enjoying sexual pleasure. The US courts declares Female Genital Mutilation as constitutional US is moving backwards’: female genital mutilation ruling a blow to girls at risk But a court or senate full of men will quickly ban all forms of abortion. Surprisingly, they are getting lots of support from women. Talk about Stockholm syndrome. 1 Like |

Kophschmerzen:It seems hypocrisy is hardwired into the DNA of conservatives. The same people that are prolife becomes prodeath when it comes to death penalty. The same people that are anti-gay marriage support or condone child marriage. The same people that condemn liquor based on religious grounds are the highest consumers of liquor. Here in Nigeria during the Ramadan fast, most beer parlour is usually empty, but returns to full swing once Ramadan us over, meanwhile alcohol is taboo according to Islam. 2 Likes |
