Damilolaoluwa: It's better you wait for IRCC to request for the medicals. This gives you an indication that your application is close to an approval. 3 Likes |

Can an upfront be done even after submission of the application online? Thought it could only be done before submission. Would be happy to get clarification. Thanks. Tlontin: |

iny7531: Try linking your application online using your passport details i.e the issuance date and expiration date. DON'T USE PLACE OF BIRTH. Also be well informed that the DLI number begins with a letter O and not a zero (0). Apply this method as soon as you can and let's see how it goes. |

Okoriekwe: Upfront medicals as defined by IRCC is known to be a medical exam done ahead of time before application submission which requires the applicant to include an E-MEDICAL slip alongside the application package. As at mid-last year applicants who experienced backlogs of cases on their applications began to seek for a remedy in an effort to expedite the processing of their visas. Many opted for upfront medicals whilst, others ordered for their CAIPS file... that was how the origin of medicals after submission started on this thread. 1 Like |

Anamekele: When you applied for your Visa what was the normal processing time as at then? Has it exceeded it stipulated time frame? Why order for GCMS note so soon when your application is presently undergoing it's due process? You're better off taking a chill pill and keep yourself busy with other activities while you await a positive response on your application. |

powerblessing: You have got nothing to be afraid of. Simply request for a withdrawal of your application. You might be lucky to receive an approval or unluckily a refusal as the case maybe. Your temporary resident application has exceeded a permanent resident processing times which is programmed at 6 months. |

Ancy12: The landed property document you own does it have a LAND C OF O (Certificate of occupancy)?. It's very important to include a survey plan with your application as it further buttresses the fact that you're the bonafide and legal owner of the landed property. Furthermore, it displays the area and dimensions of the said landed property to the visa officer's comprehension. I would suggest you hire a certified surveyor for a survey plan.. My candid advice is that you should leave no stone unturned. |

Caddy123: Ordering a GCMS note for an application that has stayed 12 months and still counting has no effect on the application. As a matter of fact, I have been in proximity with a fellow May/June Applicant. If I am not mistaken, the applicant has requested for his CAIPS file for four (4) consecutive times and yet there is no staggering response/update from IRCC pertaining the success rate of the application. More importantly, over my two years and above existence on this reputable platform, we haven't encountered nor have seen any applicant's application that has stayed 14 months as you claimed. The maximum we have seen which was approved at the 12th month in December 2017 was a guy named Abiodunne, aside this moniker there has been none until now. You may want to explain further where you got your information from. 3 Likes |

Thedream1900: She should change to Algonquin college. To me, If she wants to change, I would advise her to use that energy and change to red river college cause the life in Winnipeg is sweet plus the cost of living is not high. The cost for 1 term tuition fee in Ottawa or Toronto would take 1 year and a term (3 terms) tuition in Manitoba plus being nominated for pr is easier in those provinces compared to Ontario And BC If she insists on coming to Ottawa or Toronto, should get her whmis 2015 (GHS) certificate on health and safety, PHAC Biosafety certificate and OHSA certificate Her lecturer can help her with it if her course is a coop program... Though she would undergo online classes/training and exams to get the certificates through the influence of the school. then she would give her lecturer or school the certificate to be certified. Or should just goto PeopleReady for real-quick employment after passing the exam and interview. With that certificate, she will get a job anywhere including hospital asides from restaurant or bartender job related cause they have there owned certificate 1 Like |

Omonoba1981: The one year is not a result of your passport expiration if only your academic programme is 1 year. That's to say your time has started counting now, so it's left for you to use it smartly NO MISTAKE. These people are becoming stingy with this visa stuff. But this your own is certainly as a result of passport expiration cause it's not even up to 8 months. You should have renewed your passport before submitting (anyways, nothing spoil). For the PeopleReady they are located at 355 Montreal road (still in Ottawa) or you can call them on 613-842-5048 X 1 Don't call them with a number that's not from Ontario or application number Call and book your appointment. |
