Humility017: FC Midtjylland is an obscure club in an obscure league. Only an ignoramus will rate FC Midtjylland ahead of Young boys and Red bull Salzburg. |

Odunayaw: Players are probably not as tired as they would have been before but I think there are other factors as well. The punishment/reward system is a lot more efficient and now involves both teams and their communities; I think that this has had a multiplier effect. If fans know that violence/intimidation could mean their teams losing points, being relocated from home, or playing behind closed doors they tend to behave better. They also call other fans to order if the need arises. There have been situations were the LMC has asked clubs to find and handover fans guilty of certain offences within a stipulated time period or risk further sanctions- as you can imagine, teams require the help of their respective communities for this. This type of punishment/reward system keeps everyone on their toes. Properly behaved fans should lead to an improvement in security which translates to an improvement in officiating and ultimately, better away results. 1 Like |

For me, the only downside of SE is the goal keeping department. I don't see any fantastic team whose first 11 could convincingly beat us. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Bossoflife25: Agreed. It’s great that we are seeing ample growth of talent and options in our forward department, but goalkeeping is severely lacking. The NFF needs to look into this. 1 Like 1 Share |

England Made Late Effort To Stop Ofoborh From Pledging International Future To Nigeria – Aigbogun Nnamdi Ofoborh was almost convinced by the English FA to make a u-turn on his decision to pledge his international future to Nigeria days before he joined the camp of the Nigeria U20 team in Germany, where they are preparing for the U20 World Youth Championship. The Bournemouth youngster was approached by the FA technical department to shun the Nigerian team according to coach Paul Aigbogun but he insist on linking up with the Nigerian team. Aigbogun revealed that his close relationship with the father of the central midfielder which date back to when they were kids growing up in London also helped in persuading Ofoborh not to listen to England. ” They tried to talk Ofoborh out of our team few days before he turned up at our camp. England won’t give up on a talented 18 year old just like that, so we had to convince him that his future is best secured with us than with them”, Aigbogun told Owngoalnigeria.com. https://owngoalnigeria.com/2019/05/21/england-made-late-effort-to-stop-ofoborh-from-pledging-international-future-to-nigeria-aigbogun/ 3 Likes |

Bolowolowo:Ikeme's injury was grossly unexpected and with Enyeama out of the picture we lacked a leader in the goal keeping department. I do hope that wouldn't be our Achilles heel! Sincerely yours, Nff needs to look into it quite urgently. |

forgiveness: I tell you and they won't play them oooh. ask yourself bro...how many players go fit play for 3 lions at a time... check immediately a player click beyond 23 and he didn't get 3 lions call up...it will be very difficult to fetch it afterwards... reason why many start changing their national allegiance...afterwards to their parents country like zaha and co |

Barryseal: But Prio to that tournament they were not tipped as favourites to Win because they were known Perennial under-achievers. That is the case for Senegal today. Because they are known to be Perennial under achievers you cannot put your money on them to win. |

Bossoflife25:to be honest with you...I see those two lads as a Long term solution to our goal keeping problem.... getting an home based goal keeper...self driven and motivated like Enyeama gonna take a while.... so for now maduka and especially Zaccala for the 17 years old to convince Agboigun means he is good. |

Bossoflife25: Hmm... these too, I will say too early to bank on them especially Zaccalla. He is still very Young and still has a lot to learn. Will keep an eye on his development though. As for Okoye, good he has been invited to the U23. Lets watch him from there. I also have an eye on Oremade in this WYC. |

andrew444:everyone is rating Egypt because of their home fans...if you watched the way these guys celebrated the world cup qualification ehh. with that kind of fans...@ the stadium the opponent will be intimidated. I just pray any of ivory coast, Ghana and Senegal can help us eliminate Egypt because the super eagles will struggle to play a draw under such atmosphere... |
