This case is easy. Just obtain a new admission letter and address a letter to IRCC notifying them of the refusal reason and that you have obtained an updated admission letter and ask them to kindly reconsider your application ion.. attach you appeal letter and the new offer letter and send to their email. That should do.

bimmie85:
Hello Gurus in the house,

I am posting this for my cousin who was just delayed. The only reason stated for the delay was that the admission letter has expired. I will appreciate any useful information from the house on how to address this. The school resumption and last date for registration was stated on the admission letter as May 17, 2019, but CIC didn't take a decision on the application until that deadline passed and they rejected it. Her application also went beyond the processing time, and she sent CSE severally to notify them after 9 weeks of normal processing has passed to inform them of the impending deadline. Her upfront medicals was updated as passed since April 5, 2019 too, and rejection letter came in yesterday (May 23, 2019).

This was what was indicated in the letter:

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

• Your letter of acceptance, required by subsection 219(1) of the Regulations, has expired. If your acceptance is renewed/extended, consideration may be given to reconsidering your decision.

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

Below is her timeline of application:

Application submitted online (with upfront medicals): Jan 21, 2019
Biometrics: Jan 22, 2019
Medical passed: April 5, 2019
Correspondence for delay: May 23, 2019).

She has informed the school today to see if an extended admission letter can be issued for September term, but we are interested in ways/how to reopen this application, and not reapply completely, if that is possible.

Thank you in anticipation of your response(s).

Hello,

I'll suggest you reject that admission because according to cic, graduates of The Toronto School of Management aren't eligible for a postgraduate work permit. Please check the attached picture.

You can find out for yourself by searching for canada postgraduate work permit on Google.

Hello all,
I'm not so frequent on this platform so forgive me if i ask questions to that which has already been discussed. Please who has heard of TSOM here (Toronto School of Management). i applied online and was given a partial scholarship. How would one know if the school is legit? if they offer student loans and Accommodation. If there's anyone here that has attended the school or knows someone who has, i would be very grateful if you can assist in any way possible. thanks

Thank you for sharing your story and encouraging us all.

Opana1:
THIS IS MY APPROVAL STORY.

I applied to Brock University in Canada to study MA Critical Sociology. Fortunately, I received admission with funding of $23,000 covering my tuition.
Before then let me state that I am 37years old and had over 10 years study gap. When I decided to apply I was scared, because I had not travelled before and there was no personal assets to declare.
I decided to go for an upfront medical
On the 1st of May I went for my medicals the first nurse noticed i had high blood pressure, I had to conduct more medical examinations.
Finally on the 10th May I submitted my application. Here are the documents I submitted

My degree certificate
Proficiency certificate
Attestation
Transcript from uni
Waec and testimonial
Birth cert for my kids
Sponsorship letter from my brother
Statement of accounts
Company registeration
Letter from the school I am a research fellow
Letter from my supervisor in Canada
A one paged SOP
Passports

This is all I remember. Let me add that sometimes God works in mysterious ways.

Here is my timeline again

Upfront medical. 1st May
Submission. 10th May
Medical passed 17th May
Eligibility and background checks started on the 17th May
Biometric mail. 21st May
Approval mail. 22nd May
Resumption date. Sept 2019

One thing that helped me was that, during this period i decided to put all my trust in God and he never disappointed me.

To those still waiting, pls be prayerful, sometimes it is more than what meets the eye.
To those who have been refused, take your time and reapply and put God at the centre.

We will get there. Anybody going to Brock here?

You can get enough information here. And whatever it is you don't understand you can always ask.

Hints:
1. Go for a post graduate program and not any random diploma or certificate.

2. Go for a 2 year program.

3. If you have a good undergraduate cgpa seek programs in universities. That will aid your transition to other programs in the future.

4. Have a good sponsor and if it's a 3rd part sponsor then do well to prove the relationship.

5. Provided proper details and documents to back your study gaps.

6. You need a well detailed sop also. All the best. ...

Thank you for your response, Kind sir.
I don't have a good cgpa so colleges.
Got a physics bsc in 2017 but i want to do an IT pgd. I currently work in an IT position, and have avid interest in IT infrastructure. I have shortlisted a few colleges with 2-year pgd in This field. I've seen some people saying vocational courses are bad for visa application, how accurate is this? Should I stick to my guns or bite the bullet and do a more academic course?
And also, I've seen online that co-op courses aid with employment opportunities, but is it a good idea to go out of my way to look for only courses with co-op or will I be okay without it?

Also, the consultant I spoke to suggested that IELTs increase my chances of getting admission and visa. But it seems I don't need it from the school's requirements page. Pls advice.
Thank you (Sorry for many questions but it can be confusing)

If you are confident IELTs will give you a chance of securing a visa, go for it. It will be an advantage for you at the long run if only you've fulfilled the requirements stipulated by CIC.

As far as the school has DLI code and recognise too on the CIC website. You know everybody dream on this platform is to migrate to Canada, regardless of the type of admission or school. if the school offer the kind of course that is in line with your previous undergraduate course, your previous work experience and that means there is progression in the choice of study. there are different ways to get COOP work permit.

I really need your answer from all the guru in the house.

My friend got refuse for the 2rd time.
She is about to re-apply again but want to be sure of : This is my questions

My question is if someone changes the informations about his past work experience in his next application form for his next visa application will the new VO notice it?

And someone that has a diploma in business management going for a post baccalaureate diploma in Human Resources management is it a progression and reasonable enough?
