If u get a 1year visa, and u defer your admission, your study duration won't be enough for the one year forcing you to apply for another study permit visa again ...Wat if they refuse the visa...

In the case of the bolded, applying for an extension is what is required

Guys. I can not thank you all enough .
Original passport request . First time applicant with virgin passport .

Application lodged on the 12th of June 2018 with upfront medicals.
Biometrics done on the 22nd of June 2018 . And medicals updated as passed on the 7th of August 2018 and that same day my eligibility review started.
And since then , I didn't hear from the embassy . because of the delay I lost my admission and I had to reapply again as the school does not defer ... a specialised and highly competitive programme . Fortunately I was offered admission the second time and I mailed my new admission letter to the embassy and also sent an updated statement of account alongside the new admission.
Since then , I've been bombarding them with mails.
I sent mails to several MPs, about 7 responded and took up my case , including the PM and Minister for immigration , I even extended my mails to the senators and speaker of the House and also the some Assistants or top personnel in IRCC office.

I didn't stop . I kept sending mails to anyone I see as a too official in Canada because my understanding is that they can't refuse me visa cuz I'm sending several mails(i don't know who has that thought )
And just today , I got the passport request .

Thank you everyone . special thanks to Makano(this dude advised me not to withdraw my apllication just yet and told me to keep sending mails. Makano will connect me to his office internet and tell me to check nairaland visa section for updates . I will go prepare the place for you bro, I'm your John the Baptist , yours will come in no time) @frankrobbn1 , @kpizzle ,this dude called me late in the night , shared his experience and gave me reasons to keep hopes high when I was hell bent on withdrawing my application.
@Asapant, my man . You're blessed .
@qudcom, @sillysassysally @justmellow @austacus @bracha and all other persons who gives to this section of the forum , God bless you all. Good work you guys are doing ...
I wish @goingforward is still here .

Above all , GOD GOD GOD !!! HE DID IT .
I prayed and fasted and I'm happy it payed off.
My other moniker was just banned

Big congratulations, go and prosper, and thanks for the mention.

I posted on Monday that I got a Biometric correspondence on 21st, May,2019 and so did about 10 people that I met at Vfs on the 11th April, 2019. I got their number and added them to a group to monitor the progress of the application. Now, the issue is, everyone that got the correspondence have gotten another mail to go pick their passport at the embassy which ended up as a refusal, except me, I didn’t get the mail.

Now, my questions, is it possible that my passport has already been sent to Vfs but I wasn’t informed? Or, is it still possible to get a medical mail after a Biometric correspondence?

There is probability that your application has already been finalized, and if you've still not gotten the collection mail, then you will soon.

I have 6.7M in my personal account after the payment of my first semester tuition fee. After paying my first semester fee and securing my LE which is 3M, I have 3.7M left in my personal SOA.

The CEO of my firm is a relative from the same community. And my firm is a big firm which inflow and out runs almost 300M in the last 6 months. Huge cash comes in and leaves the account frequently because we are involved in contracts.

Your personal funds seems good. It would be better if the relative can sponsor you personally rather than using the company's account. I believe in Luck and Grace but its always good not to merely rely on them without doing the necessary. Irrespective of the inflow and outflow which also helps a lot, but do not apply with a low closing balance

Yes, your employment letter, work ID, Salary account, and payslip should do, and maybe a letter of recommendation from your line supervisor/manager. The VO just need to see some evidence to proof your employment claim.

Okay, thanks a lot

There are so many documents that can be used as proof of employment. You don't have to submit excessive documents to this effect. I also understand you might want to conceal youe intentions about travelling at work

So if you have the employment letter you got when you started working plus your work ID Card then you are good to go. You can also submit your salary account if possible. Don't stress yourself out on protocol.

That's the case here. Thanks a lot.

I think your letter of employment should suffice. Especially since you’re supplementing it with your ID card and salary statement of account which shows that you’re currently working there. You’re good to go!
But, are you sure HR would not now go and meet your line supervisors to gossip that you came to ask them a letter of intro

P.S. I have experience in the financial services industry but I don’t work in a bank.

I doubt that cheesy

Thanks a lot Sally. I'll pm you if need be.
