You dont need to have sleepless night, you can see the 3 peeps that got their PPR yesterday waited almost a year before they got it(Am not saying yours will take a year tho).. But my point is, so far u are applying for a Canadian study Permit u will need a lot of patience.. So dont kill ur sef for nothing.. Me that I am typing this too, I have applied since July last year and I am yet to get ma TRV.. But, guess what I sleep like a baby everyday.. Be patient and prayerfull. But meanwhile start sending mails to the office responsible for ur application and u can also order for ur GCMS note.. My 2 kobo Peace..

Did you request for your gcms notes especially if you got the "purpose of visit" reason. A third party sponsor with a closing balance of 5m, think about your sponsor's family composition and necessities. Though nothing is impossible and nothing surprises me any more with this VOs. Just pray and have faith.

Good luck!

Ordering for your gcms note doesn't have a negative implication. It actually helps you to know what the vo is looking for or probably something that the vo needs from u which dy won't ask u to send and you wouldn't know unless u have a gcms note that will tell u .... it honestly gives you the chance to change a refusal to an approval....

Then you have to get certificate of occupancy and that will take u about a month or so to get it. Deed of conveyance is also for land.

It with take me more than a year here. I will spend huge amount and am not even sure I will get it at d end of the day. Maybe things will change soon.

Thanks for sharing your timeline. I’ll add it to the list.
I pray for success in your new study permit application. Amen!

I have two follow-up questions based on the documents you’re submitting - I hope you don’t mind me asking;

1. The joint account you and your fiancé have, is it the same account that you’re using as your SOA with 5m inflow?
2. How have you addressed the reasons for denial in your first application?

Hi dear,
Yes I finally got my passport back.
I submitted it on the 9th of May and it was ready for collection on the 17th of May. Effectively, it took 6 working days after submission.

I’d advise you not to wait for any mail from them stating when you should come pick up your passport. Instead, use the tracking number that they’ll give you to keep tabs on the progress. Also, start looking out for flights and if possible, book well ahead as prices are beginning to inch higher. Skyscanner is a good place to find cheap deals.

I wish you the best best!
Mudicua:

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by sillysassysally(f): 9:54pm On May 25, 2019
But I thought there was a time you said it was showing “being processed in Canada visa office”?

If it’s still showing no record found, here are a couple of things you could do;
1. Ensure you’re typing the tracking number correctly. You ought to type everything CALAPPT0509xxxx as it applies to you.
2. Ensure you’re typing your DOB correctly. The most common mistake people make is that they mistype their year of birth as the current year. I.e. instead of writing 1997, for example, they write 2019
3. Try calling customer care. They’ll track it from their own end. You could also complain about the error you're receiving and get further guidance from them
4. If none of the above works, then you can just go to vfs office for collection after 15 working days from the date you submitted, since they said it takes 5 - 15 working days to stamp.

Let me know how it goes.
All the best!

For the 2nd bolded, they actually told I and another person 5-10working days.... it's already 8workings (Friday)... do u have their number pls...vfs lagos I mean..
