Yayira: That WINGS building will be sealed off on Monday... Wale cannot enter that building. To even think that Oando does not have it's own corporate head office. Wale keeps moving that office, ended it in WINGS that the Tinubu's own by proxy and paying huge rents. This man weak me! 1 Like |

Chibuking81: From the days of SMN, I never recommended OANDO. The very moment they entered upstream, I knew the end was near. My famous quote was : a python that swallowed an adult crocodile. At a point we even argued with the owner of Proshare on SMN when OANDO was about doing their rights after ConocoPhillips asset acquisition. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 9:18am On Jun 01, 2019 |
Chibuking81: E no reach the amount that banks were dragging from 9 Mobile(Etisalat) somewhere to the tune of $1.2b. So either banks will take more impairments or they will have their money squeezed out from the new management. Hence that was why I said it isn't a big deal. Banking sector has seen much worse. |

RabbiDoracle: Oga I remember very clearly, top Oga's in the forum fought against it, and even dissected Oando's balance sheet, but SEC never listened. Obviously cos someone was chopping, now after how many years they are acting! They are now selling even the juicy filling stations to ENYO This country.... Let me not talk! Happy New Month All. For all that Wale did, he must be sent to jail! Else justice was not served! Let me not even talk how they sold rights issue at a higher price and increased their own holdings through the back door at N12.00 it was first pointed out on SMN. It was then that brokers realised they have entered one chance. That was the last struck! 1 Like |

I remember those days. But people are yet to learn any lesson. what is there in Oando again. power, gas, marketing are all gone. what is left In the coy is just shell for the shell holders like one of my Oga go talk. It is not every trade that one must buy. Oando is not good for anything. The business is gone. Oando does not even own OER again. some people will just wake up to discover that Oando has taken their funds away like MMM. RabbiDoracle: 2 Likes |

Oando Marketing has gone to OVH. Enyo is a different entity. Enyo must be buying from OVH. stcool: |

stcool: They need to sell assets to survive. And trust banks, they will rush to cash out with this news out. We analyzed this since 2014 before COP acquisitions. Dem wan finish Wanaj that year for SMN |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 9:29am On Jun 01, 2019 |
rebekah2011: That is why we have always advised Chibuking and others to use FA rather than price movement. But he will not hear word It has not happened doesn't mean it will not happen. FA gives you the health of the company and we knew about the held of OANDO since 2013 before COP acquisitions and afterwards. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 9:29am On Jun 01, 2019 |
That is why I keep asking is there no way to get back all those Oga's and form a kind of Share holders forum that would correct this wrongs... That SMN was the best critics NSE will ever get. The corruption still happens, it's in AIICO, TRANSCORP is gradually growing, FO, MTN, to name a few! |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by rebekah2011(m): 9:30am On Jun 01, 2019 |
my Oga some banks may not suffer for it. but Fidelity FCMB will hear it. RabbiDoracle: |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by rebekah2011(m): 9:32am On Jun 01, 2019 |
nothing is wrong with MTN. Transcorp would have been long dead if not for TOE. stcool: |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 9:34am On Jun 01, 2019 |
rebekah2011: So you think TOE will hand over Power to minority shareholders.... Watch him spill it off when the time is right! SMN raised serious governance issues about TOE. I still remember Has Ote$ not gone away with Forte Power investments now that Dangote is building refinary and subsidy will no longer be business as usual in 2020. Power is the next cashcow after subsidy, so Oga is gone with that one. Nigeria may never be able to fix it's power if we continue like this. Corporate Yahoo Yahoo... They are not business men, they live on bank loans and govt. subsidy! 2 Likes |

rebekah2011: Go through OANDO 2018 annual report and read note 31. You will see the banks and what OANDO owe them. Either that must have taken impairments for it and just recovering them now or they will get it from the new management. See the attached screenshots.

rebekah2011: There is a N79b which is the remaining part of the COP assets acquisition owed banks. Others may be foreign loans by foreign banks. I do not think the announcement will have effect on any Nigerian bank. It is just Oando shareholders that will bear the brunt when they come out to ask for more money via rights. |
