Hi, I don't know what this is about but I'm guessing it has something to do with submitting your application or going to VFS Global. If it does, please note that some of our public holidays don't affect their work; there work is mostly affected by Canadian public holidays. So, check Canadian public holidays not ours.

Thanks @Bracha, I've done so.

I doubt he is new here even as he registered couple of weeks ago..the whole show will end in not too distant future though

Sending them mail or apply for gcms note. Which of them is better ... please let me know before I proceed
And If it's by mail then I can use my gmail account account and state all my details ..

You can do both simultaneously... u can send mails but not all the time because you might look desperate... applying for the notes is just to get a view of why your application Is delaying.... they are two different things

Hi, I love your response here. You were able to give this person an idea of what usually the GCMS note may contain for a "purpose of visit" refusal. At least now this can help him since the admission is for Sept just like mine and GCMS will take not less than 30days or more to come.

In my own case, the reason was "personal assets and financial status".
So please can you help or has there been anyone with such and got a GCMS note? Please I need an idea if there will be more to it than just these words. My resumption is Sept 3 too. Thanks

Qudkom:

You have roughly 61days before your college/university ask you to confirm attendance for the upcoming session. You can submit but make contingencies for Winter (January).

It's risky reapplying without a gcms note to guide you. However purpose of visit is usually on the following factors;
1. Poor and Vague sop
2. Program not correlating with work experience and previous academic program.
3. Enrolling for a program lower than your last credentials.

All the best....

Every application denial reasons are different... What I mean is despite a denial reason being "personal assets and financial status", with I and 10 persons but doesn't mean the reason for all of us are the same... what I have on my application is never the same with wat those 10 persons have... I say this cos I know someone with just #400k in his account and still got an approval... so like I said it's the same generic reasons but the idea for the reasons are different.. but I think this applies to only "personal assets and financial status"

Qudkom:
Dealing with Personal Asset and Financial status refusals(Business owners edition)

There's been an heavy increase in the amount of refusals mostly coming from applicants inability to prove they are financially stable in their home countries. This is more than being naive and scanning your cic certificate to somewhat proof you have a functioning company. Guess what the irony about that is anyone can register a company but proving a viable company is another story entirely. I will list a couple documents to strengthen not your home ties but to solidify the outlook of your finances to a trained Visa officer (VO).

1. TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE: When last did you pay company tax. You write about how passionate you are about your country in your sop but can't provide a tax certificate. This single most important document proves to a vo you have a company that is well ingrained in Nigeria.

2. TIN registration: It is important to get a tax identification number and scan the letter confirming your TIN number in your application.
3. Car ownership certificate: yes scan the certificate showing you ownership of your vehicle. Most especially if you have a nice ride. This shows a VO that you are doing ok in Nigeria.

4. Work assets & Machineries: Perhaps you purchased an asset from china a few years back for your company and still have the receipt you can scan snd present it in a coherent way. You don't want to confuse a vo because the next thing is some generic refusal hence order gcms note.

5. Proof of past/future contracts: Have you executed some contracts in the past (1-5yrs) you can include this. If you also have some contracts coming up you can include proof.

6. Reference letters: You can have certified and verified companies you've worked with in the past write you reference letters to show your prudence.

7. Regulatory bodies Certificates : Every industry in Nigeria is regulated by a designated party. It is important to be certified by these bodies. Presenting proof of this certification will strengthen your application. For example, I submitted my father's Petroleum storage licences from NNPC.

There are over 25 categories of documents that can be used. However it is one thing to have documents another thing to present it in a wat that it reflects your portfolio and application stance. I have seen applicants with over 20million portfolio ruin their applications simply because they were misguided.

P.s: Canada and every other consulate have an in depth idea of the employment situation, crime rate, political instability etc happening in our beloved country. So it is very important to strengthen your application to full effect.

Is your tuition really 4833/Yr, or per term/semester?

Tuituin = 4833
Accommodation/room & board =?
Other includes textbooks and other stuff.
Funds available include your full funding + the amount your sponsor is willing to sponsor you with.

With your full funding you still need to submit a statement of account, either yours or that of a sponsor. Just something to show you have some money too.

Congratulations again on the outcome of your study permit application!

If your school starts in September, I’ll advise you to, if possible, book your flight NOW! Like play like play, prices are inching higher and higher.

Yes my tuition fees is $4833 per year. How much should I write in the room and board and also in the others please.

My sponsor just wrote if my funding isn't enough, he will support me financially over the period of my studies.
The sponsor is my brother and he dropped his account statement too.

So please how do I feel it?

@ Qudkom, the list you provided is really an eye opener, thanks but consider this case:
1) A new enterprise how does one get tax clearance, Tin number and others you listed because it is becoming cumbersome, I just registered my new business which started last month and am yet to get my CAC certificate.
2) I intend applying for my study permit next month with a sibling who is doing well sponsoring me, how do I make my application strong? I finished NYSC November 2017. just my new business as asset for now.
Thanks as I wait for your assistance, please.
