Baztardmods: In such case.... Your brother has a very good profile. If I were you I will advice him to apply for a tourist visa for the whole family, that will sound good to the VO, he will just write a good letter of purpose of visiting. Just my opinion thou... You can send him the invite letter and apply. I hope he has travel history cos that will be a plus.... |

smatadex: That's not bad Sir. You can repackage your application. But what's doing me somehow is the zero travel history conjoined with no business registration documents CAC. VO might find it difficult to believe the source of the money in your account 1 Like |

Same to you! Got it last Thursday. Been a little busy that’s why I haven’t brought my long awaited story. Will do that later on. Documents submitted 1. Travel history - US, UK, Canada (went to school there), Ukraine, South Africa, Dubai, The Bahamas, Schegen territories. Included every Visa I’ve ever gotten from student to visiting and every exit and entry stamp since my first passport as a child. 2. Company documents - All CAC forms which showed my name on it. I also included my parents companies as my name is on the documents as well. 3. Statement of account totalling about 4M (personal and my own company) 4. Letter from my bank stating I’m sole signatory to my company account 5. Tax clearance certificates - Personal and company 6. Proof of ongoing business - Invoices to my clients, recent invoices from my creditors, proof of payments etc 7. A family tree showing my relationship to my aunt who was inviting me to Canada 8. Two invitation letters - One from my aunt and the second from my friend who we went to school together with 9. Pre booked flight tickets (I used Visa Reservation dot com) it cost me $30 and the ticket remained valid throughout when my application was at the embassy. 10. Sponsorship letter from my dad who is paying for my trip. I also included his bank statements. 11. Evidence I went to school in Canada previously (to show that I truly wanted to visit old friends) That’s about it. Story loading. jj17cv: 1 Like |

Please l want to apply for visit visa for myself and my 20years old daughter who’s currently in 400Level to visit my first son in school in Canada, this is his third year, nobody has visited him from the family. 1. Which route will be the best to apply? Paper or Online? 2. Any advice on how to package my daughter application? She has no travel experience. I have been to UK, US and still have a valid US visa. 3. How long does the visa processing takes presently? Thanks for your guidance please. |

@Nellykuch... Please don't make the mistake I made. I applied for visitor's visa with my two kids to visit my husband who is also a student in Canada and was refused three times. We got all GCM note and all three implied that since hubby was schooling..that the tendency to remain in Canada was stronger despite my job in IOC. We were advised to apply for SOWP( for myself) and Study permit for my kids since they are of school age. I applied on the 15th of February 2019 and we were sent Medical request on the 13th of May 2019. Awaiting our passport since I did paper route. Save yourself the stress and just apply for SOWP. bibiliscious: Good day All, Trust all is well. Further to my above inquiry - submitted paper application 10th May 2019 but status via tracking site says " No Record found". I received an email 29th May 2019 confirming receipt of my biometrics and advising that it is valid till 2029 but still no update on my application. How else can i track my application? i was reading their website and i saw link paper application to an online account? it says to sign in either by : * Sign-in Partner (SecureKey Concierge) uses your online banking information *GCKey is the Government of Canada credential Please advise if i should do so ? really need to know if all is okay. cz i dont get why my bank information should be used for an online account. Kindly assist Many thanks in advance |
