Hello gurus in the house, please how long does it take to get biometrics letter for paper application? From @sillysally data analysis, it's same day as submission. If this is generally correct, will the biometrics letter be given to you immediately after submission or how do you get. Will appreciate your kind responses. Thanks in advance. |

Hello everyone, good morning. Please in my online application, I have not seen a place where I will fill study permit questionnaire. All I'm seeing is only documents I will upload. Please help me! Please in that client information too, will it contain all my certificate like waec, bsc, transcript, police report, letter of explanation, etc? Thank you. cc: @Qudkom and Bracha |

Concate:Biometric should be done same day you submitted your paper application at vfs!!! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by kcosam: 7:34am On Jun 02, 2019 |
Concate:Hi, before the gurus come to respond I want to say what I have observed. From experience, Biometric request letter usually drop a day or two after submitting your application for online route in most cases. While the paper route is mostly done the same day or a day after submitting your application. Secondly, the letter will be sent to your email and not given by hand. |

Qudkom: Come to think of it, the list you provided was for business people/owners. What about those of us who doesn't have a business or company but just applied as a student. I have some money in my account and my husband's account is also good too. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Obehi44: 8:51am On Jun 02, 2019 |
Qudkom: So I have been made to understand. But looking at the time frame to get the GCMS note, I won't have enough time for visa to come out and therefore will miss the Sept admission. Look at it like this, we are in June already, assuming I request GCMS now and may not come out till like around July ending or so, then I reapply for the visa say July ending, August is the only month inbtw and class starts 3rd Sept. Okay let me ask the gurus in the house if my plan is good or what could be the disadvantages both presently or in the future. This is what I plan to do: 1. I am going to request for the GCMS note, While that is on, 2. I will reapply for the visa around 2nd week of June by trying respond to their refusal reasons directly(increase the money in my personal account, and include other personal assets). Meanwhile my sponsors account and assets are still very intact. (then pray and hope bcoz God can still do anything) 3. I will also apply for admission for Jan 2020. With these, please what do I have to loose? What could be the consequences? |

Obehi44: There's no consequence, the only thing there is your gcms would tell you exactly why your application was denied which might be different or the same with wat ur loe explained.. If u reapply like u said and August is the only month inbtw, I advise you apply for a deferment of admission... it gives u time for your visa to be processed... even if u defer and the visa comes out in September or August, it's still a win/win situation... you will have ample time to prepare yourself.. |

Ayodeji787:If you've gotten to the point where you need to fill forms and all then you've filled the online questionnaire you just didn't realise. You were probably asked if you've done an upfront medical, gotten an admission letter etc. Lastly, I have posted the instruction on how to upload documents more than 3 times. Read up!!!! and if you can't then seek the service of an expert in submitting an online application. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Qudkom(m): 9:56am On Jun 02, 2019 |
Obehi44: If what you listed in point (2) is all you've done then I suggest you defer to January, receive your gcms note and plan accordingly. No need to rush or make your application look desperate. All the best.... |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Obehi44: 10:41am On Jun 02, 2019 |
OptimusPrime21: Thank you very much for your response. But I have tried to defer my admission and the school responded that they can not defer for my course unless I want to cancel the admission and reapply, but that they can't quanranty me automatic admission but will have to pass through normal process again. This is also my fear, getting admission, as it's becoming difficult these days. What do you think? |

Hello I am new here I want to enquire if I can use my US WES Evaluation for Canada or will I have to start the processing of WES Canada all over again. Thank you |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Ibitowaoa: 11:08am On Jun 02, 2019 |
You will have to apply for the Canada WES. However news reaching me is that you can send a copy of your US WES to WES Canada for evaluation to avoid delay from your university etc. Pinkandblue26: |

1. Are you paying all ? 2. Do you have anyone at Canada that can help you out ? 3. Go to bank and transfer the money to the university account. 4 Or pay using your card 5. If all this doesn’t help, you can make western union to the school or cheque sent to them. Anamekele: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Ibitowaoa: 11:24am On Jun 02, 2019 |
1. Please how much do you have on your personal account. 2. Which assets did you submit to them. 3. Have you consider reconstructing your LOE. What I heard from a source is that, once you satisfied the tuition payment option, they go through your LOE and try find the reasons you gave in coming back home etc and if truly you really need to pursue the degree. Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Obehi44: 11:48am On Jun 02, 2019 |
Ibitowaoa: 1. Personal account was 1.8m naira when I applied at the end of March, I have almost 3m now, hopefully by the time I print to reapply by 2nd week, it should be about 3.5m or so. 2. Sponsor (my husband) account is 10m+ naira. 3. Assets I used then was only the lands owned by me and my husband. It was in both our names. But now I intend to add some landed property I inherited from my dad as my personal assets. 4. Yes I intend to write a good LOE, which I am begging the full house to please come to my help on that. I will appreciate any help in constructing the LOE. Finally I think I was able to satisfy the reasons of coming back because I have a 2yrs old daughter(birth prove and certificate), husband(marriage documents submitted) , a civil servant job(all proves and leave letter) etc. 1 Like |

Proof of funds for the first year is sufficient. But I don't think there is any harm if you can show proof of funds for the 2 years. So if you can do 2 years, please do. As for who will be responsible, select "other" then write scholarship, supervisor's grant, and my brother. If you have your own personal funds, you can add "myself" to the list. Ayodeji787: 2 Likes |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Ibitowaoa: 12:49pm On Jun 02, 2019 |
1. With your bank statement I think you meets the requirements of tuition and living expenses coupled with ur husband owns. 2. Try make your LOE letter sounds better on the assets as you will be coming home to do this that after your schooling. 3. Also, CIC might think leaving a kid behind is not a good call, so try explain the plans you have for your kid. Maybe, your husband will there to support your child upbringing and you’ve employed a nanny to help do this and that, while your husband is away. Also, say that you will be applying for a leave of absent at work which you will fall back to after your studies. With the documents you have, I believe your LOE is not well structured and it’s not convincing enough. As per funds and assets you good to go. Experts should please assists her. Obehi44: 1 Like |

Hello, i am sure you met the requirements for admission that’s why they gave you. If you do again, you will get it. Those replies from them, are what they should let you know. So you won’t feel like it’s a must to get admitted but you will get it. Obehi44: |

Same day Sir/Ma. When I went for my VFS biometrics I saw people submitting paper application and getting their biometrics done few mins after submission. After submission You will be tag and asked to meet a security man at the door for another tagging. There he will give u a new code and asked u to sit on section 8/9. Pay attention your code will be called. Replied based on experience !! Concate: |

Pinkandblue26: It's simple, contact WES canada and tell them you have an evaluation from WES US. They will tell you what to do. That's how my sister did hers. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Ibitowaoa: 12:59pm On Jun 02, 2019 |
Yes you will pay for WES Canada. You will pay US WES charges self to help you transfer your record to them with an inclusion of courier charge. Not that sure with the digits but google will do better by searching. My guess same amount you paid for US WES though this time in $CAN. 285 or so Pinkandblue26: |
