Test held in Kaduna and I participated. Its fine. Same questions with what you guys are discussing above. We all hope for the best.

Please I just want to ask. Is it only Lagos centers that this test held. What about other states. I haven’t heard from anyone in Abuja, Kaduna, Uyo, Rivers, Bayelsa, Abia, Enugu, Kano. I mean, did this test not hold in other venues��‍♂️

I think bayelsa didn't have a center.....while applying for the exercise,the states dropped down for selection for the exams did not include bayelsa,I didn't see it,I am a bayelsan and I had to journey to Port Harcourt,same applied to three person's I later met.

Only 22 states had centers,some were paired with other like akwa ibom with cross river and bayelsa with rivers.lagos had the highest centers.

Firstly, suppose they need 20 persons from state A and the first 20 highest scores are from EHs, does that mean that no GT would be employed from that state? On the other hand, if the first 20 highest scores come from GTs, does it mean no EH would come state A?

Secondly, are the allocations based on the disciplines of applicants?

These are obviously tougher questions than the ones we 8am batch did. None of the above came out in our own batch - or well, in the type I wrote.

firstly, do not forget there would be interview too. They would shortlist more than what they need,so as to enable them compete.

As per the Gts and EH,They are two different groups.

Their functions are different.Hence, it would be ranked based on Functions as a GT aspirant cannot function as an EH.

I also chose Osadebey and failed the question. Answers from google broke my heart. The questions appear simple, but they are actually devilish. I also chose Walter Alan as the inventor of the electric light bulb because I knew the unit of power to be Watt. Meanwhile, Humphrey Davy is the correct answer. I just wish they let everyone know their scores. And the process should be fair throughout.

However, suppose they need 10 mechanical engineers and the highest scoring mechanical engineering applicant, whose scores, say 80%, is from a state where the first 20 highest persons (assuming that's the allocation for that state) are from other discipline, will he be jettisoned?

Yeah but then it remains contestable! Bro, as an Economist, I can argue that oil should rather be seen as a blessing, that the high proceeds from it be channeled for development. But the corruption of public office holders won't just allow for that. Why we usually say it's over dependence is that the oil has not been making us look elsewhere for higher revenue. And as you've analysed, a fall in prices affect our revenue as the main source. Hope you get it?
