Famocious: I'm happy for these Malians..they truly deserve to win the game They fought hard, played well and never gave up. Their equaliser was awesome and they held their nerves to score brilliant penalties. I was worried about the tall Diaby but his penalty was well executed. Congrats to them. 1 Like |

Uchenna Grace Kanu Jersey no.12 Date of birth: 20.06.1997 (21yrs) Height: 176 cm Weight: 66 kg Position: Striker Club: Southeastern University, USA. FIFA World Cup Appearances: ( Debut ) A versatile attacker, Kanu is capable of playing on either wing as well as through the centre of the pitch, and while ostensibly left-footed, she's very strong with both feet. She is ranks among the world's young fastest female footballers, both with and without the ball. The Abia, Nigeria native set a new NAIA single-season record in goals scored with 57 goals netted this past season, which helped Kanu to earn the distinction of being the 2018 United Soccer Coaches NAIA Player of the Year. During her three years at Southeastern, women's soccer player Uchenna Kanu has scored 115 goals and has recorded 32 assists. She has been The Sun Conference Player of the Year each of the last two seasons, First Team All-Conference the past three seasons, and was a First Team NAIA All-American this past season. She has developed a muscular body type that allows her to retain possession of the ball, and strong legs that make up for an outstanding jumping ability. Her strength and jumping ability, combined with her elevation, heading accuracy, and height of 1.76m, gives her an edge in winning aerial challenges for balls. These attributes allow her to function as a target-woman, and make her an aerial goal threat in the penalty area; consequently, many of her goals have been headers. Allied with her increased stamina and work-rate, her goalscoring ability improved drastically on the left wing where she has been given the positional by SEU Coach freedom to move into the centre to finish attacks. She has increasingly played a creative role for her team, often dropping deep to pick up the ball, participate in the build-up of plays, and create chances for her teammates, courtesy of her good vision and passing ability. She also played for Pensacola FC in the WPSL in 2018. She has been the best U21 Women Footballer in Africa for over 3 years now. She is a Complete Striker. She is been referred to as the Female Ronaldo by her Nigeria Followers after winning the golden boot at the 2019 WAFU Cup edition scoring 10goals in 5games. Strength- Good Height, Strong player, Good header, Uses both feet effectively, Deadly in front of goal, Freekick Specialist, Fast Player, Skillful and a Good Passer, Selfless player (Team player), Accurate Shooting.

EEGA: Super Eagles
Training Report :
Iheanacho
Surprise
Inclusion In Top
Five Performers
The Super Eagles of Nigeria
have been training in Asaba
ahead of their participation at
the next Africa Cup of Nations in
Egypt and Owngoalnigeria.com
picks five players who have so
far impressed in the three
sessions the team have had so
far.
1. Victor Osimhen – He has
carried his form from Belgium to
the camp of the Super Eagles of
Nigeria. In the three training
sessions the team have had so
far, the forward has maintained
his sharpness level which is the
highest among the strikers in
the camp of the team.
2. Moses Simon – No doubt he
is fired up for this one. The way
he was gliding past his markers
with ease was the main
highlight of his game during the
session. He took it a step
forward with his pin point
delivery when in space and even
in tight spaces.
3. Samuel Chukwueze – No way
is he not going to make the
squad for AFCON 2019. He was
not just sharp and lively but
also very decisive with the ball
at his feet. Another side of his
game he appears to have
worked on is defending as he
won so many balls for his team.
4. Leon Balogun – Despite his
limited game time at Brighton
and Hove Albion he looked very
fit and sharp. During the
session he got his interceptions
and tackles right and didn’t tire
out as expected. The personal
training he had has kept him in
shape for this.
5. Kelechi Iheanacho – Many
criticised his inclusion in the
squad of players for the
tournament, no thanks to his
poor form and lack of game time
at English Premier League side
Leicester City. That appears to
have zero effect on his
performance as he was very
clinical during the shooting
drills and the 5-aside game they
played. He scored with almost
all of his efforts.
This kind of report will get people's hopes very very high. |

zoboizee: Please guys, can anyone pair two teams for the Super Eagles in a 11 vs 11, with all the players in their normal position. Because its one of the u20's coach shortcoming. Using players in wrong position. For example, the rightback is a DM in his club. And he had no solid rightback substitute for him in the team. I did not know any of the players prior to this tournament but just by watching their play and attributes I suggested some of them be played in different positions from where they were started. You've just confirmed I was right after all. |

Olulong: I actually think this Mali team is better than Senegal. The Senegal we played yesterday looked very ordinary in my opinion. We just weren't clinical enough but then I don't blame the team but the coach who kept that Log of Wood upfront till the end of the game Now let me say this. You see that Nigeria team, it was not a bad team but many will not agree and others don't know. The assemblage is not the worst in this tournament. What went wrong with that team? Poor tutoring and tactics overall. Give that same team to a good coach they'll beat Senegal. In conclusion, it's not about Senegal being ordinary it's about Nigeria not being too far behind. 2 Likes |

.......Strictly personal Opinion.
If I have my way, I will definitely drop Onuachu and Samuel from the List. I'm dropping the both because their departments are choked up; too many Wingers and Strikers in the Squad.
I will go with Ighalo, Osimhen and Iheanacho as Strikers. Onyekuru, Chuks, Simon and Musa as Wingers. Truth be told, Iheanacho would make the final cut, and perhaps could turn out the best for the Eagles as a Super-sub.
************************************************* I am not Rohr, but I think with the Calibre of Players we have in the Squad, I will play 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 Formation at AFCON.
Uzoho would man the Posts as first choice GK. The Quartet of Aina(RB), Balogun(CB), Ekong(CB) and Collins(LB) manning the Defence.
In Midfield, I'll play a Pivot of Mikel and Ndidi as DMs. While Simon would play as LW, Iwobi as CAM and Chukwueze as RW.
Osimhen will lead the Line as the lone Striker.
On the Bench, Awaziem, Shehu, Onyekuru, Musa, Iheanacho, Igbalo, Ezenwa shall be making the Cut.
If I need to sub off Osimhen, Ighalo would be my point of Call. If I need to sub off Iwobi, Iheanacho would come in for him. For the Wingers, Musa and Onyekuru are waiting to grab the Opportunity. Musa would be a direct Replacement for Chukwueze, while Onyekuru would be deputizing for Simon.
For Fullbacks, Shehu is definitely reserved to cover up as well as for the DMs because of his versatility. Awaziem would cover up for the CBs.
If I need to sub off Collin, Shehu would be subbed in to play RB while Aina would be moved to LB. If it's Aina I need to sub, then it's all good for Shehu to be a direct Replacement.

Disgrace!!!! Them say NFF and coaches are holy but see wetin dey happen. How can we exonerate Rohr who brings players from Norway and bench warmers into the team ahead of players doing well in better leagues? Probably, assistant coaches and NFF officials collected bribe on his behalf to bring the Nwakalis and co to the national team. *Spit* It seems this Aigbogun is a British Nigerian and I was wondering how he got to know Nigerian players. |

Not a bad set up, I will take out Simon and put onyekuru, Simon didn't do anything spectacular this season, infact he will be dropped along with Iheanacho, I can see so many of us still trust him but that's not enough, he did nothing all season. Onuachu should take his place this guy has worked hard to be here and we have to see what he can offer, when I say worked hard, I mean consistent all season. Awaziem, Ajayi, Simon n Iheanacho are the likely layers to be dropped, except injury says otherwise. |

Uchenna Kanu is not new in the National Team circles. She is an ex-Falconnets player. She may have improved but I don't see her giving better than what likes Ordega, Okobi and Oshoala can give. This current Falcons team does not inspire confidence at all. The team lacks quality plus the coach plays almost like Aigbogun: Kick and follow football. The team cannot dominate play even against our African rivals. In my head I know we may even struggle to earn 1pt from all 3games in that group. But in my heart I can only wish them well. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Well dts just d reality, but for some persons here, if we talk, dem go say person dey pessimistic, any wc way,we can only wish dem well ,but am also with ur stand |

How can Onuachu take the place of a winger? If he has to be dropped it must be for a winger and not for a striker. If you are insisting on performance then Awaziem and Ajayi should not be dropped. 2 Likes |

Uchenna Kanu is not new in the National Team circles. She is an ex-Falconnets player. She may have improved but I don't see her giving better than what likes Ordega, Okobi and Oshoala can give.
